Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Just planted my first high brix cannabis seed into docs kit!

Heres the line up:
7x Smurfzilla REG by north genetics ( will be culling down to 1-2 females hopefully )

2x Dark Plasma #9 FEM By OceanGrown Genetics but grown/seeded by His and Her Grow in Oregon. ( this plant was in their test tent and had light leaks that led to self pollination of a ridiculous pheno, Will be watching these 2 close )

1x very very lucky bagseed from Berners grow. Some of the best gelato I've had, this cut was called cereal milk.

Oh boy does most of the high brix solutions smell like amazing dead organic matter. I was punched in the face by that smell, but I weirdly enough enjoy it.

Ill start a journal once things get fun.

Hey Pook! Glad your trying Doc's gear! You will NOT be disappointed and will soon be ,..of course , "assimilated". As you know "resistance is futile"! Glad to have you aboard sir...please remember to closely follow directions for a couple/few grows before you start to mess with anything that's not clearly laid out in Doc's instructions OK. If you have ANY questions or concerns ...just come back here and fire away,..there are many experienced growers with Doc's gear to lend you a hand. Once again , congrats to you for finding us and for trying Doc's magic! Cheers Mr!.....

Thanks a bunch! I’m very excited to see the difference between this and past grows.

I will strictly be following the guide. It’s a new system for me so I won’t mess with it till I’m fully confident.

Overall I’m just excited to have living plants in my home again!

Ok so this is happening since I added the recharge but I havnt added any ewc with it cause I jus noticed Iyesterday tht i ran out lol. But yea now the top leaves is burning around the edges alil bit. Any help at what I shud do would greatly be appreciated thanx. Also I'm working on getting another humidifier cause the 1 I got at Wally world I paid almost 30 dam bux an it only raised rh% like 3% so up to 36 now lol.

Hey Blaze. Probably just the low rh. Is the heat still high? Please clip,those dead leaves. They are not helping anything and you are asking for,trouble leaving them on.

Ok so still clip them even tho it's an auto? An yea the temp issue is still the same. The 30 dollar dam humidifier I got only raised the rh% to 34% so need 2 still get tht raised up a bit. But over all she seeming to love the hb soil. I cant believe for early she is in flower how big the buds r getn. Plus the main cola is like already a foot maybe alil longer so jus imagine when its done lol. I'm so excited I cant wait hahaha.

I doesn't hurt to give the space a good misting with your sprayer ... ... Just plain ol' water ...

Humidity control is a beech.

...I've got a few reasons why I don't grow over the winter months...lifestyle is #1...but environment is a close second...18% RH in my basement just doesn't seem worth the battle...appreciate what you fella's' do to get it done tho'...cheerz...h00k...

I'm fighting RH now as well. I just cleaned and got new filters for one humidifier and its only got my enviroment up to 45-50%... Buying another one too see if that helps.

Yea I thought about doin that myself but wasnt sure if it wud make things worse or not like if the lights would cause burn spots do to the water misted on them. So that was y I didnt spray them but have u done it n they end up ok? When did u spray them dwn at lights off or sumthn?

Earlier in the day is better, within an hour of lights-on is best. I just sprayed like a foliar, doing the undersides, and then emptying the sprayer over the tops of the soil and the top of the canopy. When the RH is that low, it dries up pretty fast.

A few light-spot burns are better than curled-up crunchy fans, anyway.

When I water, the RH stays up for a good day. And in this climate, I actually water twice - once each couple days - once to keep the rootball moist with maybe half as much as usual. Then the second time is the full drench, flooding each pot to runoff. So if I'm diligent and actually do that, I only have one day in between, when there isn't any extra water evaporating. So I can foliar on those days.

If I'm diligent ... which I have not been recently.

Ok guys so I've been havn an issue here. I ran outa money b4 I could get new plastic pots so this is what I got to be able 2 uppot. I was thinking on putting my 2 devil's carnival clones into one pot that is a 30 gallon tote. Then I got some 5gallon hd buckets. Also a 5.5 gallon wastebasket I used to use as a hempy pot lol. And then a 18 gallon tote.
This is the big 30 gallon tote i plan to put both devil's carnival clones into 2gether.

These are the 5 and 5.5 and 18 gallon buckets. The green is a 5 gal he bucket. And the black is the 5.5 and the gray tote is the 18 gal. Would it be ok to use the 5.5 gal. Or should I jus keep them in the pots they in and jus wait till I can get some plastic pots? But that could be up to two weeks b4 my next check.

That 30 should grow some big ole gals for sure.

You want to make sure the plants are pretty close to rootbound before transplanting. If they're not, I'd just wait. It all about the roots!

Also, I agree the leaf damage is RH and nothing to do with the Recharge!

HeyBlaze. Yes.clip those crispy leaves. I've seen brixxers grow in 5 gallon buckets and totes. Like Krip said, if they're not root bound then wait.

Mornin to ya Blaze....use the biggest pots/containers you have . If you plan on growing decent sized plants , bigger is the way to go. Much less worries and concerns with using more soil.
For the low RH...do as Gray says with spraying straight water to raise RH..it works. You don't have to use Doc's foilars...just use straight water. Do it every day if ya want...it will only help. Please keep all other enviro factors the same...do not increase ventilation at all, keep things the same. This practice will help raise the RH to better /higher levels.
