DIY Stealth Cab, Hydro, LED & Multiple Strains in Small Space - Oh Boy!

Man, I still can't get over how thick those stems are! :thedoubletake:

and...HOW wide is that bud?

IMAGE_716.jpg

I swear, evertime you post a pic under the LED, I get a bubble gum taste in my mouth :). Looks like GIANT candy.

I'm glad to see things are looking so good for you , Mr. Krip. Sorry I have been absent, I had a lot going on with the move last month, and I had to baby the babies, for lack of a better term at the moment...Also, they now reside in a closet located on the west side of the building, meaning they are getting all that afternoon sun, and that's been a bit of a prob. since we can see some temps up in the 100+ region here...not everyday like Palm Springs or Phoenix, but still, it's HOT here in the summer.....we are trying to catch up financially and get a cheap $100 air conditioner for our bedroom here, cuz we basically share the room with the plants....and I promised the wife I wouldn't have the "weed" smell all over the apt., but it's like a 500 sq.ft. studio kinda-thing...so I had to order an inline duct fan, (got one in the mail today, but they substituted a cheap model, so I am fighting with the people I ordered from to get the right one out here PRONTO!)
Anyhow, the damn ductwork itself is also on backorder...so is my fan speed adjuster, so it can run as slow as possible at night, just enough to pull the smell outta the room.....
Anyhow, I have such happy, green, and GIGANTIC GROWING WEEDS IN MY GARDEN, YOU SHOULD CHECK IT OUT! LOL!

I hope I get that damn duct fan thing fixed ASAP! (By the way, I made the mistake of straying away from Amazon.com, and made the mistake of going to "Horticulture Source .com", and they have responded to my issue through email today, and that's good, but I want the fan I odered, not the one they are trying to get me to keep! I WILL NOT be purchasing from them again!

She looks great Mr. Krip!

You sure do grow some hairy ladies :cheer:

Did you have the link to the smaller cheaper hygrometers? I lost that somehow and can't remember where I saw it of course... :peace:

Sorry to hear about Jo OMM, shingles again? Tony LaRussa the Cards manager is fighting a case of them right now and isn't even travelling with the team it's so painful.

Hi Blue. :Rasta:

This time it's her digestive system...everything comes back up.

They already gave her a list of things to stay away from. She's in shock. No chocolate, no mints, and almost her whole diet. Even no chicken! We will know for sure after they look in her stomach. She might even lose some weight, which she needs to do for her back. Golden Years Suck. :smokin:

Poor Jo. I hope they get it figured out and she can get back to a more normal diet.

And I hope you're ready to fire up a new journal soon... but don't let us rush you my friend... :peace:

Krip, I don't recall if I told you congrats on a very nice harvest. Also that haze looks very nice and now with the whole cab to spread out and reward you for all your hard work.

DIME,

Funny you should ask!

The main cola bud is about 1' long:

And just under 4" wide at it's widest point:

Thanks, RVG. I've been keeping an eye on your grow. It's coming along nice. I posted a video for you earlier showing how to calibrate a Hanna TDS meter. Hopefully, you get things worked out with the duct fan! :goodluck:

Yeah...they are hairy, but they only have me and the dog as role models, so...

I had sent the link to the hygrometers by PM a couple of weeks ago, since :420: doesn't like posting links to eBay auctions, which ultimately expire and leave dead links in the journals.

I dd forward you the original message by PM. Let me know if you don't get it.

Also, if anyone else would like the link to some low-cost, reliable hygrometers (that I use and make NO commission on!), let me know and I'm happy to PM the link.

Let Jo know she has a bunch of people here pulling for her and to most definately stay away from the mint chocolate covered chicken! :)

Thanks, PBR! :thanks:

Chances are you already told me and we were both too stoned to remember! :tokin:

The haze was nice & comfy with the whole cab to herself, but now she's got a roommate.

Update to follow...

Cool pics Mr Krip. The ruler gives your pics real meaning. I think I'll try that on my next shots. Sometime it's hard to tell from the pics just how awesome some of the buds are. :goodjob:

QUICK PIC UPDATE

I was looking at the size of the PE compared to the height of the grow cab, and decided to put her into flower right away. I've barely got room for her to double in size, and if she triples, she'll be in the attic!

So, she got her first dose of bloom nutes and in she went:

IMAGE_727.jpg

You can see she's just about as tall as the haze!

Although a little late to have much of an effect on bud sites, I did some LST to help start to control her height and open up the middle to better light:

IMAGE_731.jpg

So, now I've got a lot more room in veg!

IMAGE_735.jpg

Here's two of the four PE clones:

IMAGE_736.jpg

Here's the hempy AK, which also got some more LST today:

IMAGE_737.jpg

And, here's the hempy haze, which I'll probably move to flower after I harvest the waterfarm haze in a few weeks. She's already a monster, too!

IMAGE_738.jpg

I did start the Waterfarm Haze on Overdrive the other day, so she's got about three weeks left. I was gonna wait an extra week, but some of her buds look pretty ripe and I can already see her starting to feed on herself.

I had to duct tape a bamboo stake to the side of the waterfarm to help support the big main cola of hers:

IMAGE_730.jpg

Here are a few more shots of her buds:

Finally, the AK buds are drying nicely. That homegrown smell is all but gone entirely and the buds now have a strong "diesely/hashy" smell. RH is at 64%, so the buds are now starting to cure. :yummy:

Happy Harvests!

K

Thanks, bro!

That cola is pretty impressive, but, I'm estimating something like 40%-60% of the total yield from that plant will come off of that one cola, so I'm not sure I'll get much more than an oz. dried off of her.

She does smell delicious, though! One of the reasons I put the PE in flower ahead of the hempy haze is that, if the haze really turns out great, I want to clone the hempy haze before I flip the switch on her to try to maintain the strain.

Smart thinking! That will be one awesome ounce though, lol! :thumb:

:peacetwo:

Hey Bro, great job on the harvest, enjoy the smoke. I just got caught up, I've been really busy with work, but I just wanted to congradulate you!
Peace,
NEPharmer

Man, this journal is moving like Blue's journal :).

Everything is looking great and thanks for that pic... Damn that's a big bud!

Dude, those hempys look so great! Huge growth and perky as hell. LST like crazy my friend  that PE is gonna be bigger than the haze. From the pics it looks like you could drop her height in half if needed, you'd get a ton of budsites too.

Great job Mr!

Thank You Blue! Jo is not doing anything at the moment, just hanging in there. She seems OK right now.

Rush me all you want too! I'm rushing me too, best I can. I made a post in my "closed" journal with an explanation of what's going on with the new grow. Nothing, at this time. Soon though, I hope! :reading420magazine:
