Looking good... I am looking forward to seeing how this plays out.
 
couple of tiny things

is that fan violent enough on the plants to trigger stem thicken?

have you thought about putting a few holes in those pots to assist in soil airation?

one thing ive gotten into recently is putting a straw deep into the soil, hyperventilating for a bit to raise the o2 to co2 ratio in my breath, then blowing lots of air into the medium. obviously a little air pump would be better ;)

I have perlite mixed in there. But not that much. I was waiting till i knew if any were female. And once I move which ever one is female ino the 3 gallon bucket, airation will not be a problem :)

And yes. It's on the low setting right now though due to how small they still are. I'll probably swith to Hi once they're a little bushier.
 
I have these giant rubber bands. I figured I'd infuse them with your paperclip idea. And hook the rubber bands to tacks or hooks on the wall.

But they're far from that yet. Still under a foot tall.

I'll measure them precisely tomorrow and post some pics. :)

Okay. Here We Go... The Kids are getting big. :)

I fed them the Rain Water this morning. They seemed a bit droopy when they woke up today. About an hour passed and they were perked back up. :)

Also, after close inspection of each, the child all the way to the left, has a female characteristic showing. "The Tongues" if you will. It's not extremely clear yet, but the other 2 don't have the features it has. I'll try and find some pics..

Okay. They're showing their stipules, all three of them, but the one on the left has the elongated looking "sack" whilst the other 2 are not showing much of anything yet. So It may just be me jumping the gun(probably). But is it safe to assume I may have a female in the group?
