Ha. I wish you could help me out too. $80 for 1/2 oz is so bullspit for the quality of bud over here..
When it comes down to harvest and cure, I will prob not buy any
Well I did need something to smoke, so I saved all of my fan leaves, my husband set them out to dry and rolled me fan leave j's to hold me over, and they weren't too bad, except they burned up fast/

So I checked out that G13 Labs site.. I wouldn't mind Growing some Pineapple Express, and Some Midnight Kush... I love fruity tasting bud.
Would it be good for a novice grower to get AutoBud ?
or just Feminized seeds?
Also It says, Pick-n-Mix. and 05 seeds.
What do those mean? I've never online ordered seeds?

That's the hard part in this part of the country, by the time it gets to us, it's the bottom of the bag crap that is all dried up and lots of seeds and stems, what a blessing not dealing with rip offs anymore.

feminized. pick and mix means 5 seeds all the same or pic 5 different ones.

sponsors, I ordered from the single seed centre and they got me what I wanted plus some free seeds the others also offer this but I have only ordered 1 time so cant say if one is better then the others- Thread starter

Have your money ready and waiting for your strain. Some go really quick. I'm on hold until next month at least. I'm watching the freebees promotions and waiting for an awesome freebee. But even if there are awesome free seeds, they may not have the strains I want to actually buy. So, for me it's like hitting a winner on one of the $1 lottery scratch offs. Three things have to go right....strain availability, awesome free seeds and money availability. Note that with most banks the more you spend, the more you get in free seeds. I will try to hit that magic dollar amount to get to the most free seeds possible, but not spend any more. $50 extra spent at one place on one order might be better spent at another place, or on another order to the same vendor to maximize freebees.

You know Herbie's will alert you when the seed you're looking for becomes available, they have a box to click if not available when you want.
Concerning the auto plants kids, they do grow fast, but not big, and the yield is not great either, if on a budget this is not the best way to start off, you'll run out of smoke too quick this these. I have one that is still growing and was a freebie from Herbie's so I think it's got a week or two to go before harvest, I'll report back on strain when ready/take er easy/grace
avoid auto's imho.
the best use for autos is when you have a field somewhere you can plant a whole bunch of them and come back around 60 days later to harvest.
they dont grow big, they dont produce much and unless you put a male in the mix, there is no way to replicate your work.
your absolute best way to grow (again just my personal opinion). is to think hard about the 1 strain that will really float your boat, then buy as many feminised seeds of that strain as you can...grow them all at once and then based on your grow needs like do you want tall plants or short plant, fast starters or best finishers. the ones that dont stack up to your requirements put to one side untill your only left with 1 or 2 'perfect' specimins of that strain.
all the flawed ones can be put to flower to provide you with smoke and the one you have left is a clone factory. if you cut a clone in just the right place, 2 more stems will pop up in its place. and then all of your future plants will have the same characteristics of the mother you worked so hard to find =)

the only auto i have come across that has big yields is the big bang auto, over 4oz per plant, off my autos i got over an oz of each so not to bad given the time taken to grow, im ordering some big bang autos when i get paid tomorrow so will be giving it a try as i have not grown that strain yet, i think it was xlr8 that tried it and another grower and both got over 4oz per plant, so thats what im trying next,
