Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

First time I've heard that also. Sawdust?
It's true I saw it on the internet. No seriously the majority of cinnamon you buy in the market is literally saw dust with flavoring. I take cinnamon supplements per my docs suggestion but he wouldn't let me just get the ones otc he gave me a rx and that is the reason he gave me. He is one of the few people I trust so there ya go..........:circle-of-love:

Hey Dennise

Thank you for another brilliant photo set a few pages back.

You know, your efforts here are truly outstanding.

Well done Gal :circle-of-love:

Why thank you Sir..:thanks: I just like pretty pictures..:circle-of-love: I figure if I post pics almost every day when I finally let the girls out of the box which are clones from the closet girls I will be able to visually compare the difference in how they produce with being tied and bent and of course soil differences but they will basically be getting the same nutes. I think it will be an interesting point of comparison.....:hmmm::hmmm::hmmm:

Interesting info on the cinnamon. I'll have to look into this, and I also don't want to be buying sawdust lol.

Speaking of cinnamon, have you seen the 'cinnamon challenge' videos before? look for them on youtube, it's a riot. You basically have to see if you can eat a TBS of ground cinnamon by itself. Hilarity ensues...

And now, I must go water the clones! Happy Skunkday, Dennise ;)

OK Dennise and Dres

I think we need to create a virtual relaxing ambiance for our new smoking corner.

So girls, what's it to be ? Walls ? Soft furnishings ?

Over to you. :circle-of-love:

Edit: Just one thing, it mustn't clash with my big Blue eyes LOL

Thing with cinnamon is it kills the fungus in the soil. Fungus isn't a bad thing but the knat larvae love it. If you top the soil with cinnamon your plants will stress over the change no doubt. I went with something proven to rid them for good. Once they get into the roots it's hard to break that cycle. Here's a link to msbadgers journal

If you try the cinnamon your going to end up with a cinnamon cake on top of your soil.. You'll find they just ignore that and go down to the bottom of the pot and get in that way. It really doesn't work. Don't ask me how I know that :)

Hmmm..:hmmm: going to have to think on that one for a while...

Don't think I want to make a cake of cinnamon... The King told me about stuff you put of the top and cuts them up when they are crawling and if I ever have a problem with them I think I will try it. It is called Diatomaceous Earth. I have only seen a few and used Broke Ass's recipe of hydrogen peroxide and water with a drop of dawn and sprayed it on top of the soil and on the leaves and that took care of the few I have had........:thumb:

Hi Dennise-

You seem to be a proponent of the reflector LEDs by TOPLED and I was wondering if you could provide some input as I'm trying to decide btwn the 96x3 and the 144x3. In your opinion, do the coverage claims (4.4'x2.2' and 6.6' x 2.2') of the lights live up to, fall short, or exceed the measurements? I'll be using these lights outside of a tent and trying to cover an area the size of the smaller light's coverage.

Thanks for any input.

High Shamma :byebye: Yes I love my Top Leds and have been blown away at how well the 3w reflectors work. I have the 96x3w in the closet and it is approx. 3.5' x 2' and it covers very well. I had just checked the "popcorn" buds before reading your post because of some of the negative things being said and they are just wrong. My tallest girl is just short of being 6' tall and her bottom buds are developing very well. The penetration with the 3w does not seem to be any problem to me. Do I think the 144x3w would do an even better job... probably. More light can't be a bad thing imho but if money is an issue I think you will be fine with the 96x3w. I recently won a small Top Led tent and that is what I am going to put the Mars II 400 in and really the only reason I jumped up to the Mars II which is the 5w is out of curiosity and had nothing to do with being unhappy with the 3w. I don't think either way you choose to go will be the wrong decision. If you can easily afford the larger light that is what I would do as I said I never think more light is a bad thing but I do honestly think the 96x3w will work great for you. Hope this helps some and if I can be of any assistance please feel free to ask. I am more than happy to help in any way I can.......:circle-of-love:

Thanks Dennise! I went with the 96x3 and look forward to getting it. Got it via their ebay site for $0.50 more because I noticed their web site checkout page wasn't secure/encrypted for payment processing.

Yea!! you will love it and the check out page on the site will just send you to paypal I think which supposedly is very secure. As secure as they can get I guess... any how very happy for you and look forward to seeing how it works for ya....:high-five:

Hi ya King....:byebye: Im getting wishy washy again and am rethinking my plan to chop on Sun. Some of the trichs are turning milky but there is still a lot of clear ones and I can't really see any amber at all. I have gone this long and don't want to get impatient and over a week or two give up better quality. I will post close up with the lights out in a bit and I sure would like to know what you think I should do. Feeling real blonde. Thanks as always.....:adore::adore::adore:

I got them as best I can and took a couple of each plant so please let me know what ya think.........:adore::adore::adore:

Oh yea where I was going with this King.... If you think it will be to soon to cut and they can get better what should I water them with next? They will for sure have to be watered in the morning. If you don't think they are ready to be cut on Sun should I still be using nutes? Obviously I don't know what to do so any and all your input would be greatly appreciated as you can probably tell I am stressing a bit over it. As always King you rock!!!......:adore::adore::adore:

Ok its quite hard to tell from the pics, ill do my best :) So although there might have been the odd amber trich, I also noticed plenty of clear a d some milky. The bit I noticed was a lot of the trichs were still stood proud. I think Im right that the start to bend/sit down when they are mature.
So I would say you have a bit longer yet. Feed for another week then do a only water and perhaps molasses for another week?! Just my best guess, im no book of knowledge on this one :)

Check regular and this all depends on what kind of smoke you want :)
