I know ...Right! Be glad you had to work... Yesterday was horrible and you would have had to listen to me. You might want to thank your boss. I'm smoking her right now and it makes it quite a bit easier to deal with. lol..........:circle-of-love:

Has anyone ever heard of Berger soil? The nursery here than used to carry Promix no longer carries it and I did a 500 mile search and it ain't happening but when they replied to my email they said they had replaced it with the Berger soil so I am assuming they are saying it is similar. Has anyone even heard of it before. Please let me know if you have.....:circle-of-love:.

Never heard of berger....do they have an info chart available at the supplier to see what's in it?

Can they order a bail of promix for you?

And that is a damn fine nug you have your hand around...doing great!! :thumb:

Hi Heady... No they won't order it and I don't know what the hell I would do with that much soil any how. If I start putting my play toys in my fella' barn our harmonious life would be over..lol As far as the info on the soil I will try and look it up on line. I didn't hear from him until last night and haven't had time to investigate any further.
Yea that Bud!!! I had to move it behind the bar as it was starting to lean a little to far out and my hand smells so good. It is covered in pretty sugar and I want to smoke it!!!!........:circle-of-love:
 
A bale of promix is like 3' tall and 20" wide approx....as far as what you would do with it....Grow Grow Grow.

glad your grow is coming along, it's a great journey!! You are gonna be so stoked at harvest time!! :high-five:

Oh I get that but my storage mostly has turned into grow spaces and the storage I have now is full of Fox Farms... MG...some organic something somebody dropped off and all my other little goodies and me and the old guy have a deal and that is I leave his barn alone. Plus that where my motorcycles are so it's all good. I'm going to check out this other soil on the internet and see what it is. Who knows it might be awesome........:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

I know I am going to catch grief over this but as long as it works I really don't care if it is not organic. I can only imagine the things that have been sprayed and no telling what else on the commercial herb I have smoke over the last 40 + years so I know what I am growing has got to be better than that. Now given the opportunity to go totally organic and get the results I am looking for and stay in the budget I have been very sternly now given.... sure I would grow totally organic but seriously... My first grow in the closet is in miracle grow.... I am trying to improve on that. It's hard for an old dog to change her ways! Will my next grow be totally organic? I can pretty much answer that with confidence.... NO! Will it be better than growing in miracle grow? I certainly hope so. Baby steps... I'm trying to go with baby steps.......:circle-of-love:
 
I don't have the answer to that question Cannabis but with what I have on hand and what I am going to pick up tomorrow which is called Berger soil which is the what the local nursery around here has replaced ProMix with , there is no more money allotted to spend on my grows. I want to use the soil I am picking up tomorrow to do a grow with Growology nutes and after that I will have to use up what I have on hand or there is this weird old guy that lives here that will ring my neck.... and I want my plants to look good...lol
 
I don't disagree... I just don't know..:confused: but there is still the matter of all the soil already here that has to be used and as far as that goes thanks to a generous donation from Light there is even more soil being shipped this way so as of tomorrow I will have enough soil to grow all I intend on growing for quite some time. :bigblush: At least till this spring when the green house goes up. Now then when stocking that I intend on going totally organic but that is some time off yet. Still have to get through the closet girls, the cabinet girls, the box clone family 5, hurt and runt baby in the tent and the clones from SBR in the box.... Whew, that looks scary in print....:) oh and the Wild Thailand that I am going to pop for the Growology nutes........ Soooo there it is.....:circle-of-love:
