Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

Hey Dennise

Take a deep breath and please don't panic.

You said that the stalk didn't break and the photos back that up.

So easy there Gal.

Time out to share a doobie :passitleft:

In a day or two this will be something to laugh about.

At worst you take the harvest, so all is not lost.

I don't think it's as bad as that though.

Relax it's under control.

Big hug from BB :circle-of-love:

Yeah, Dennise, I know it's been a few hours and you realize things aren't really so bad, so whew!

I honestly can't say that I saw the places where it bent in your pics - it's that minimal. It may not be all that happy about the mishap for the next days, but it'll be fine.

In fact, old pot-growing wisdom says that if you seriously stress a plant at the flowering stage yours are at, it'll produce more resin. :cheesygrinsmiley:

:thanks: Brassic... It really does just look like a bruise. It bent right at the node and this morning it is still kinda soft right where she bent but other than that spot she looks no worse for the wear.... I look at her buds any how and she is just not doing what the other 2 are so maybe she will get growing now. I'm just not going to flush the other 2 cause it is MG any how and I'm not going to get that out with a flush I don't think. The best I can come up with is to stop nutes a week or so before I hope to chop and let her use up the nutes I am adding at least. I don't know what else I can do..........:circle-of-love:

:thanks: Graytail and yes I am a bit calmer this morning. I am just going to hope you are right about the resin thing and convince myself what happened was a good thing!!!!......:circle-of-love:

Lol :) Hey Dennise, dont worry on little mishaps! Ive been splitting my girls down the middle, knocking out of pots. All kinds of crap over the years! :)
Glad it wasn't to bad a injury, all be will fine Im sure.
Anyway hope all is good apart from that, best of big ass buds to ya!

Thanks Light....:circle-of-love:

You will be fine D.I wish you would have done the supercrop while she was in veg tho.lol:rofl:
Yea I hear ya. I wish I hadn't done it at all but she looks fine and like it was said earlier I guess the worst that can happen is she will get cut. She has lots of trichs but they are all clear. The couple of limbs I have broken and ended up smoking have all been off of her (guess she's my punching bag) and it is pretty good if I say so myself but I really want her to at least get milky and if I have my way there will be amber in there too........:circle-of-love:

Dennise, remember, you do have your clone babies...and you should be okay with a bend, but if there is a line of demarcation on that stem where it bent, you may have damaged the circulatory system and water will not be able to travel up and down, roots to foliage. You will know by today if this bend has really damaged your plant. It will be unmistakeable. Us pain peeps can't do what we once could do. But we're lucky to have our boys who do us right.

Thanks garden and it did bend completely in half and you can see what I call a bruise but guess time will tell. She has been sampled and is not bad smoke but I think she can get better. I am just going to give her some time and see what happens as I don't know of anything else I can do.
You are so right about our fella's. They are truly a blessing! Mine is the most patient man I have ever met and I'm sure by now you have seen that is a necessity around me but he travels for work and is only home every other weekend so there is only so much he can get done with so little time at home. He's really gotten good at sending me help when he can't be here. He is much more sociable than I am so he actually has real live friends and they are sent to check on me more and more often. Not quite sure what that means but I'm sure he has my best at heart......:circle-of-love:

Hi Dennise,
sorry I'm so late catching up here. I hope the girl is doing well today. It looked like just bruising to me, I didn't really see any break in the outer skin from what I could see on the pictures. Hopefully it will still do fine with some propping support.
Sending good Karma your way for a full recovery from the mishap! :circle-of-love:

Thanks Canna... She still looks like it is just a bruise and you are correct in that there is no rip or tear in the skin. It almost feels like it has been manipulated in a scrog like Light Addict does when he squishes the branch then bends it. So fingers crossed.... At least it was the smallest of the girls. If it had been stretch Armstrong I might have had to be commited!!!!....:circle-of-love:

If you did this yesterday and the plant is still not wilting in any way, you can be fairly certain it is okay.

Canna, I meant internal stem damage to the xylem, cambium, and phloem layer. If the cells in those areas of the stem have damage, water cannot transpire. So I think this is pretty good sign that nothing is wilting.

Hi guys.... I've got a few pics of the "bruise" that I think you can see better........:circle-of-love:

Now I Have a question.... On the rest of the closet girls look how swelled up they are at the nodes. Even on the broke girl. Why are they dong this? I'm sure I am going to feel pretty stupid when I get the answer but it is noticeably different on all three of them since yesterday. Isn't it kinda strange what ever it is that all 3 would do it at the same time???? I got them in the pics the best I can so please let me know what ya'll think.........:circle-of-love:

Seriously, Dennise, they look like they should look.

Node swelling is natural and good and it's actually a little surprising that those haven't swelled more than that.

They look really good! From what I can see, it looks like you can chop within a month - hope your patience holds. :cheesygrinsmiley: Heck, screw patience, you should start "testing" the bottom nuglets pretty soon. :rollit:

Ahhh did ya notice the branches hanging from the fan???? There was only 2.... 3 broke.... Me and my bong are trying that #3 as we type and like I said earlier... if I have to chop her now I won't be too sad... she is kicking.......:circle-of-love:

Wow Lady Dee! I miss a couple days & you've dropped, chopped, & hung things from the ceiling fan. I can't leave you alone for one day...
