Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

Stoopit cold front! We checked the rain gauge today and it was almost six inches. I hope my girls are tucked in enough. I have an old down comforter I will never use and I'm going out right now to put it on the pots which cover the plants.

see you in the am
Hope your girls are doing well this morning.........:circle-of-love:
I love your pavers Lady Dee! I am so sorry to hear about your day. I understand what a pain that could be. I have days like that, and you just think, wait, I woke up on the right side of the bed, I planned everything just right, $%&^%^*^% oh well, maybe next time.

Have fun in your garden! :circle-of-love:
Can't quite figure out where I want them. The round space is for a Dogwood tree but I need to move it to the lower part of the yard but I also need to get the tree...and probably need to get it in the ground pretty soon but not so sure I can dig that hole. Any who have a great day Pinky.....:circle-of-love:

High D :passitleft: that little fluxer is adorable, i'm saying it again! does she have a fluxer name yet?

I love your yard for several reasons. Thanks for my first  shopping at Blowes was HILARIOUS!!

and the pictures of a dozen "pavers" should clear up BARs question, lol u know im kiddin' B Azz :high-five:

kidding BAR I thought maybe it was a road tar/paver that hurt the car at first. D if your belt broke on a German car, you can do engine damage, I hope you just need the belt to get her back on the road. I put 300K on an '88 325ic, great cars:circle-of-love:

Shoot, this month has quit a few heavy hitters up for MOTM. May the best Guy/Gal win.

I learn something new everyday. Now the next time the word paver comes up in a convo I wont be in the dark.

I just uncovered everything and they are lovely under all those blankets and pots! Phew. Now THAT should be IT for the cold. Geez, it was 30 degrees below normal.
Glad to hear it but I think I will be briging them inside tonight and tomorrow night. They are calling for it to go down to the high 30"s now... It was 71 when I got up and is down to 58 now.... Jezzzz....:circle-of-love:
Congrats, Dennise, on your MOTM Nomination, and Good Luck! :cheertwo::headbang:
:thanks: I think it will take a bit more than luck with this group but it is nice to be nominated...:circle-of-love:

oAll 3 of the new babies were potted up in a small container of Berger BM1 with about a tsp of step 1 of Growology and watered with purified water with just a few drop of Super thrive added.......:circle-of-love:

That flux is adorable Dennise. Looking healthy, Im so scare to top them that early, it seems so catastrophic for the little things. Clearly it works though. I'll have to try to top earlier my next run.

Thanks Green... I freaked a little bit but then I just went for it... I have to admit once I started tweaking her it felt kinda good....:shhh:....:circle-of-love:

They haven't been out that long, so I would say 50 is about the lowest I'd go. We have a long summer to go, so even if they get stunted they'll recover in plenty of time. But definitely do bring them in...I know you are.

But we brought the plants in last night around 7. And that cold will arrive. You know how they make such a big deal out of the weather all the time? When they say things on the tease commercial, "Will it rain and get cold?" usually means, it will not rain and not get cold! hahah.
So when they said 40s, my ears perked up! Wowie. Prepare for wetness. If you have not fertilized your grass and if you want to do that, now would be a very good time. Nothing like rain to dissolve fertilizer. I'm talking about pellets now, not liquids.

Anyway, I voted. Guess who? Haha. Sorry. Sistas must stick together.

Hahaha, I've been DVRing the news for the weather for the last two weeks! They just showed that last night was the coldest in recorded history of the county since they have kept records. It went into the 30s in the hills. Amazing. Sorry to be marveling at weather, but it is just so weird.

I'm going to smoke a doob and walk the grounds before it gets dark.

I wish I could send some to LA for his back. I can't stand that he's out.

Lady Dee, You go girl with gardening self.
