Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

Great update great start on the flux Lady Dee.

Thanks Broke Ass... She seems to be loving it too. Both sides have grown and all the chopping didn't even seem to slow her down. I didn't know how she was going to grow cause the first AKxWW I grew I stunted terribly and I didn't know how much of her issues were caused by me or if it was genetics but so far I think I can say it was what I did to her. This girl is taking to her new pot and being outside along with being chopped extremely well.....:circle-of-love:

Well not the best end of the day. I had to go to the pharmacy got there and they had it all fluxed up so it was a wasted trip but there is this wholesale building supply behind there and I saw some huge octagon pavers and they had a scratch or 2 on them but the guy was throwing them away soooo of course I could use some pavers so I got him to sell me all of them for $10 and I fill my Benz up with them and I'm toddling down the road and have to get over in the lane so I punch it and then all hell breaks loose...:thedoubletake:... My idiot lights are going insane and literally tell me to turn off the engine!!!! So I did.... Opened the hood and I had thrown the serpentine belt (not sure of spelling) but however you spell it ... it sucks!!!! So I call the only person I know in town to come get me and we unload all the pavers and did I mention I had been to the grocery so we had to unload a reload all those and she brought me home. So now my Benz is sitting in a gas station parking lot and I call the towing service to tow it to the shop and they tell me they can't tow it until the morning because where I want it towed is closed and they can't leave it outside the gate. Does that make sense? You can leave it at a gas station but not at a repair shop??? I had such good plans on grabbing my meds and just getting back home and playing in my garden and was so excited about getting my pavers for the back yard and under the trellis for the flux girl to sit on..... but noooooo... Got to sit on the side of the fluxing road all because of the "good" deal on a bunch of concrete pavers that weighed to much for my car to haul. What a good deal I got and what a genius I am. Jeeezzzzz.............:circle-of-love:

Nah, yer belt was gonna fail either way - it was its time.

There's a Mark Knopfler lyric ... "sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug"

You jus' had a bug day. :cheesygrinsmiley:

But I'm sorry to hear it. Kinda sux.

Yeah, that belt was gone anyway. They dont just break like that. Usually.

It is still worth it for the pavers because the belt broke local, not when you were too far to get home. I'm glad you're okay.
I had to bring my LK in tonight. If the others weren't in the ground, they'd come in too. We got almost 7 inches of rain last night and today, more coming with colder temps. I don't mind if the ones in the ground get slowed down a little. I have plenty of time to veg them out to full capacity. It was a great rain complete with thunder and best of all lightening. Lightening and rain is why it always looks so amazingly green the next day. Lightening actually fixes nitrogen from the air and it falls with the water into the soil and into the stomata. Those are the tiny pore-like structures on the undersides of leaves which can uptake nutrients with foliar feeding. Also, they can take in water through the leaves and at night transpire to put water back out into the atmosphere.

Not that you asked! hahaha.

It sprinkled here today just enough to get them a good drink and then it quit but we are supposed to get your gully washer Thurs and much lower temps. It has been hot as the devil the last week so I am looking forward to the cooler weather and don't mind the rain but don't look forward to the storms they are predicting. If it will just hold off thru tomorrow and I can get my Benz to the shop and my truck will make it back to the pharmacy and then back home I will be good to go for a while. I hate it when I have to leave the property. Every time I do something happens so I am just going to stop leaving unless I'm on a motorcycle. The pavers are going to go from the little garden to the trellis and under the trellis for the flux pot to sit on. I think it will work fine and the damn pavers better work for something. I took some pics of the flux baby earlier to show you how much she grew overnight but I still have to load them. Be back in a minute....:high-five:....:circle-of-love:

Here's a couple of pics of my sunshine girls the fluxer and the clone...:circle-of-love:

You didn't ask me, Jimmy, but I'm running Lemon Kush side by side. Exact same soils in containers, same fertilizers, same light, same water, one fluxed, one LST. I bought Hula Hoops yesterday big enough for the containers to make two screens.

Woohoo. You little baby looks so sweet! She actually grew in two days a lot.

You are putting her under the arbor? I assume it will get at least 7 hours direct sun. It can be morning to afternoon which is always the best source of the sun in hot places like where we live in the south.

aaaaaawwwwwww! that little fluxer is just fluxin' adorable!! :thumb: :) looking good D,

try this purple, almost done curing, lol, it's so hard to wait!! :passitleft:
:passitleft: Thanks Trich...:circle-of-love:
Love the seed collection D.:thumb:
Can't wait for the side by side.:high-five:
Have you decided which strain you are going to run for side by side?
No I am waiting for everything to get here before I crack any more beans but I think I have a pretty good selection right now too so it shouldn't be tooo hard to decide.....:circle-of-love:

:thanks: Yes I think the way she will sit in the arbor that the sun will be from the south east but kinda block her from the blistering sun in the afternoon.....:circle-of-love:

That's good news & bad news all rolled up in one Lady Dee. I'm not sure what a paver is but you got them dirt cheap. The bad news isn't really that bad as Brooklyn said. You could have broken down on the highway or worse; In another city.
You're on another successful path with your Flux. You were born to grow.

:thanks: Broke Ass... I had it towed to the German car mechanic that works on it and it is not going to be to bad. It was the serpentine belt like I thought and I needed to have her oil changed any how so I will have everything done since it is there anyhow. I have a little yard truck I use to tote garbage to the dump and to tote things for the house and property and I have 2 motorcycles here so I won't have to walk anywhere.
A paver is like the cement octagons you see people use for walk ways and borders on gardens. The border on my little garden with the LST'd SBR in it has small pavers for a border. I went back today and got 25 about the same as the ones on my little garden for less than $5 and another 10 of the octagon pavers for $10. At Blowes or the likes for the 18 big octagons and 25 of the smaller ones would have cost well over a hundred bucks.... It is certainly a good deal and I have to go back to town in the morning for a doctors appointment and I am going to get more of the smaller ones. I need a few more for my front garden and am sure I will find something to use them for if I get to many. I wish I had the energy to go back and fill my truck up with what he has out there but the big ones are extremely heavy and I still have 10 of them to get out of my truck and into the back yard. I got the 2 under the trellis for the flux girl to sit on and had already unloaded and placed the smaller ones and cut the yard and that is just all I got I think for the day. I am fluxing tired.... It is supposed to be storming here tomorrow so guess it will be this weekend before more gets done... :thedoubletake:... Oh zhit... I guess I have to unload them. I don't have my car...:lot-o-toke: .... I will take a pic of the flux girl sitting on her new pad and you will see what I am talking about.... Damn I'm to old for all of this..:surrender:..:circle-of-love:

The rain is obviously needed. We broke all time records yesterday for heat at 91 degrees and it was 87 today and tomorrow the high is 63 and they already have flood warnings out but we are 5" below normal for rain and my yard really looks like a hay field right now and I promise by day after tomorrow if it rains like they say it will be green and lush. It is amazing to watch and I guess I will have the same issue as Garden cause they are predicting lows in the 40's now so I guess I will have to bring them in at night..... Sure wish it would make up it's mind what it is going to do....:circle-of-love:

Stoopit cold front! We checked the rain gauge today and it was almost six inches. I hope my girls are tucked in enough. I have an old down comforter I will never use and I'm going out right now to put it on the pots which cover the plants.

see you in the am

I love your pavers Lady Dee! I am so sorry to hear about your day. I understand what a pain that could be. I have days like that, and you just think, wait, I woke up on the right side of the bed, I planned everything just right, $%&^%^*^% oh well, maybe next time.

Have fun in your garden! :circle-of-love:
