Deep Water Culture Tutorial, SH Kit & DIY

Re: Roseman's Deep Water Culture Tutorial, SH Kit & DIY

Fingers on the tops is a good sign. Not all strains do it and even the one's that do don't do it all the time!

You know, sometimes a plant that has problems in some areas is rather gifted in others. Work with people that way too! LOL!

Roseman,

This forum is just too good. The information is unbelievable.

In your post #24 you use a drill bit clean out the holes of the spray nozzles. If you can go to any welding supply store and look at a tip cleaner for gas welding torches. I'll bet in the assortment of tip cleaners you will find the prefect size to do the job. I haven't bought a set of tip cleaners in a long time but they are cheap and will last forever.

Once again a great piece of work.

Just wanted to say thanks

Hello Roseman and the good people of the 420 forums ;)

I am new to the 420 magazine forums, because I didn't know about it. I've reading and learning and studying about nature's medicine on another forum for a while now and would like to share with you how I came to find these good forums.
Well, one day while I was reading, I came across this wonderful and amazingly in depth grow journal called Roseman's Deep Water Culture Tutorial, SH Kit & DIY
After reading a few pages into the journal, I soon realized the signifigance of the time and effort this person had put into explaining these different steps and talking about all these things that he had learned from first hand experience in the past or learned just then while documenting the experience. Even the small details/steps one wouldn't even think of were documented or touched on in some way to help paint the picture of the process.
So each night when I would come home from work, I would check in on a couple journals I was keeping up with and comment and talk to them and ask questions to learn more. Then I would go to the Roseman's Deep Water Culture Tutorial, SH Kit & DIY and continue studying. Like I said when I first started reading it, I realized it wasn't something to rush so each night I would read a few pages while taking notes and studying figures for comprehension and not just enjoyment.
I admit, I'm not the fastest reader but I wasn't trying to finish it quick just to see the result picutres so it took me nearly a week to get to the end of this 88 page journal. But thats a lot due to the people who continued to ask questions about thier grow or about something else or another, which is what stretched the journal to so many pages long and got in the way of this great tutorial. I believe it was becuase of these people who were so disrespectful that Roseman left the forum and who could blame him.
But at the end of the journal Roseman was gone and I couldn't say thanks for all the time and effort and wisdom he shared so I searched for other forums like that one and found 420! So I did a search and found the tutorial!! So thanks Roseman :goodjob:and I am glad to see that it was appreciated and came out around to 20 pages. :welldone:That is very compact for the information thats provided.:thumb:

I wasn't able to get here Friday, or Saturday or Sunday. The IRS phoned me and wanted my late 2008 return and the pressure was on, plus out of town company and a heavy wrok load at the office. Then yesterday, I spent half a day at the hospital, I found out I had SHINGLES, oohhhh do they sting too! Today I am at home, heavily medicated.

WHAT a GREAT IDEA!:cheer:

The management here allows SOME leeway with friendly chat, but they do like us to stay on topic, so please do PM me.

Re: Roseman's Deep Water Culture Tutorial, SH Kit & DIY

Roseman, As soon as you can utilize Coconut Oil on them topically and internally. This will help ease pain and kill virus. Also, Apple CIder Vinegar with the Mother.

If you do not have it around the house, health food type places have these.

I will share more via: Please PM me as I do not yet have enough postings to do a Private Message.

Blessings,

Re: Roseman's Deep Water Culture Tutorial, SH Kit & DIY

Rose I feel for you Bro. I am a whippersnapper, but I got the pox at 6mos and the shingles at 20yrs old, right under my upper arm. They SUCK! Couldn't lower my arm for a week. I really hope you fare better and feel better too. I did not have the benefit of your grow at the time. Just some schwag, but it helps a bit.

Cheers and all the best.

Re: Roseman's Deep Water Culture Tutorial, SH Kit & DIY

Greetings all.

I am at the step in our process of balancing the pH of water to soak the Rockwool Cubes, and am seeking input to this issue.

My tap water is 6.5 pH

I used the pH DOWN to adjust and it went UP to 7.5 instead of DOWN. I am using the pH Strips which are included in the SH Deep Water Culture System.

ANY IDEAS ON THIS ADVENTURE???
