Those flowering girls are a pretty picture DD. Love a bit of White widow as well, great strain for making hash.
go white widow! Grow my friend grow.
It's quite a coincidence, because on Saturday Amy said the same thing about pain and "volume":Not gone, just not as loud. Feeling sort of quieter.
For fibromyalgia pain bu far the most successful for me has been 1:1 under the tongue doses. That helps me remain functional for the most part. Pain is still there but managed and not the ‘loudest’ thing!
For solventless, a press is the only thing that comes to mind. If you haven't been over to Grandpa Tokin's squishing thread it's the place to learn everything there is to know on the subject.Any ideas on making stronger solventless infusions most welcome.
All looking top notch in the bloom room DD. Love the Hulklato progress. Doing us proud Brother. missed the updates , notifications are not working for me on lots of grows lately. Have a great new year Bud.I’m a lucky donkey
Here is today’s Seedsman comparative grow update.
And here is our HulkLato after 5 weeks above ground. From one roof space stealth garden to another from the other side of the world! Blooming fabulous. Blooming in 6 weeks or more yet. I’ll top her soon to start the quadform on her and to encourage the shoots I want for clones before I strip her undercarriage.
And back with her seedsman sisters. (And Isabelle.)
Here is the bloom room a couple of days ago. We are 6 weeks post flip here and not looking anything like halfway yet.
That’s all this week. I hope everyone’s gardens are happy and that you all are talking to your loved ones again after the week that was
Cheers.
Hey DonkeyDick, I've only just come across your thread. I'm in the North Island. Great reading about what you're doing. I am interested also in the rosin press approach as well oils/tinctures etc. In the States for extracts they can access EverClear, the only similar here that I am aware of is from the Puhoi Organic Distillary which goes for $153 for 750ml but it is 93% ABV. What Rosin press are you going for, and how straight forward will it be to import?@InTheShed Maybe. You may be right. It’s disorienting not to feel like I’m fighting dramas. Nice though.
Maybe what it is, is pain levels subsiding a bit. Not gone, just not as loud. Feeling sort of quieter. Strange.
I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned it here, but I have on a couple of other threads. I’ve found a local source of solventless CBD oil and for the last few weeks I’ve been able to sleep 5 or 6 hrs at a time (having enjoyed only 2hrs at once for the last 7 months). It is making a difference. The only issue is that our friendly localdealersadist wants $900 for a 20ml bottle.
The infusions I’ve been making are really good for knocking the pain, but sleep has still been elusive. I can’t make them stronger using the method I have. Any ideas on making stronger solventless infusions most welcome.
Meanwhile I’ve decided to invest in a rosin press. I’d like to try a dab or two, but it will principally be for making stronger capsules, and for pressing the CBD flowers when they are ripe.
Likewise, it's always good to see a kiwi amidst the world's masses!Hey Stunger tena koe. Good to see another kiwi.
We had a yellow dawn this morning which was weird. Now it’s like the middle of the night outside and it’s 11:30 am.
Smoke from the Australian wildfires. What’s it like up your way?
I had not heard of the Puhoi potion, but I can’t use the solvents anyway. Even a 1% residue is too risky for me.
The press I am looking at is the 10t benchtop with portapower from dabpress. They are a sponsor here.
They tell me they’ll ship the 10t for free, but that I have to pay import duties to customs. I’m not sure yet how that works, but hopefully in a week or so there will be someone at their office who can keep answering my emails.
I’ll keep you posted.
Happy New Year one and all. It can only be better than the last
Maybe us folk who live with chronic pain are so bored with it we try to make it more interesting than it is? Maybe @Amy Gardner is also a musician? I think she should be president of the world. She’s a Taonga. It's quite a coincidence, because on Saturday Amy said the same thing about pain and "volume":
For me, too. Thanks for the confirmation. For solventless, a press is the only thing that comes to mind.
I have a feeling you’ll be proved rightYou’re going to love squeezing your own rosin DD.
She’s rocking my little donkey dinghy whenever I look at her. She’ll be topped soon and I’ll be starting the quadform on her. Just waiting for her lowest slips to be cloneworthy. I parked a fan in front of her and the little bit of jiggling seems to have got her going.Love the Hulklato progress.
It’s freaky. 20 years ago when the Blue Mountains were on fire the western sky looked red at night from the West Coast, just a reflection off the troposphere.I remember the air having a bluish haze drifting across from bushfires in Australia when I was in Primary School in the 1960's.
Hey Al. It’s kind of a non-issue for me. I’d rather not get busted obviously, but would start up again the next day if I did. And I’d have letters of support from at least 8 medical professionals to crowbar me out of court. If customs get peculiar about the press I’ll make one. Just want to support our sponsors when I can.one workaround for the press name problem could be to get an etching press but things roll through it rather than being "stamped" so it may not work.
So looking forward to their progress . I hope you can nail your health good and proper this year D. I would also consider what real food you could get going to sustain you if the smoke clouds keep covering the sunlight too. shops soon run dry. Worried for Aus and their food crops looks terrifying. from maps of the fires , it seems they are encircled now. Let's hope the world gets busy for you guys down there with help and aid soon. keep safe buddy. scary seeing the clouds reaching your shores.Maybe us folk who live with chronic pain are so bored with it we try to make it more interesting than it is? Interesting on your experience with CBD oils. I appreciate you letting me know how it is for you.

Good to see you all, folks! In 3 hrs I roster off and I can almost taste the first puff already.
Where to start mate. wow. They are all looking damn good. Have to start with Hulk lady and her willingness to bring the genetics of two breeders to it's best. She does look very happy even after the haircut ( more so) seeing their traits seperate, they both go tall , sativa looking but had different node spacing. hopefully the lato will hold her end up in dominance here and on bud structure . They have some nice looking dried buds from the grows I see finish here. The hulk is hopefully the bringer of frost and thc in her contribution ( it was my hardest hitter by far and claims near 30%THC!) Her buds were more pasta sized spirals clumped in compact clusters. You are doing her justice matey and I cannot wait to see her show her vigour. love the overhead shot.Week SixHi all I hope everyone is well? It has been a busy few days of change here in the garden of the Stable of Impermanence.
This week’s Seedsman update is here.
This was the top view of the star of the veg room Hulklato today. I’ve really been enjoying the structure and symmetry of this plant.
And this is her top now..
This is one of her happy little 9 fingered leaves..
The lowest branches which she’s going to give up as clones aren’t long enough yet. She’s a node behind her stable sisters in branch length. Topping her will put some energy into those branches and we’ll see if they aren’t ready in a few days.
This was the Critical Purple Kush yesterday. Here she is today having grown enough that she needed a couple of her new stays adjusted.
I took six cuts off the CPK yesterday. You’d best follow one of those links to see how that worked. Today I took the one off the Hulklato and five off the CBD plant.
The CBD plant is going to be the matriarch of the garden. She looks special already.
Here is the veg room now..
And this was the flower room last night. They are almost at the end of week seven of 12/12 and are starting to bulk up nicely now. I got them out to open up their middles. I put a couple of spreader bars in one just to keep things open. It had been overdue by weeks TBH.
The smell is starting to come on now. I reckon we should bottle it. If there was an aftershave that smelled like this, well I might not wear it but I’d spray it in the carpet and rub my back in it with my hooves in the air, no worries.
sorry forgot to add. rhose flowering ladies look like they will bring some grinning faces too. nice work.Week SixHi all I hope everyone is well? It has been a busy few days of change here in the garden of the Stable of Impermanence.
