DD Stable Of Impermanence

looking good in there DD. I hope you and family are safe and well with the current event mate. I hope your on the right side of the divide here . thoughts with your nation mate. let us know your all good fella .
Thanks for your thoughts GG we’re alright here. We’re miles away from flooding and from the volcano that just went off. A lot of people worse off than us.
My daughter is stuck in one part of the country and can’t get home to another part of the country. A lot of people like that. Shops are running low, but that’s a first world problem. The worst we’ll be affected is having mail disrupted. I’m expecting a big bag of megacrop.
Good to see ya :yummy:

Rhanks Dd. glad your ok mate . hope daughter get back soon. Saw the footage of the volcano and adding to the recent floods. Had to at least check in matey. I remember the earth moving stuff for you guys a few years back. Seems the gods are still creating your heaven on earth mate. Hope it settles down quick time and you are supported by infrastructure properly.

Hope the mega crop gets there too. bloody good stuff but remember "Unicorn shit". hate to use the term but remember it and wait. All will be apparent !!
Be safe buddy

IKR?! We’m bist unsure of inbreeding, bisn’t os? (It’s a midlands thing)

Sorry to hear that mate.

That’s Harry Anslinger’s fault that is. Chasing The Scream by Johann Hari should be compulsory reading in schools worldwide.

I’m trying to teach my lorikeet to say ‘I’m a racist!’ She is an Australian species. Racism isn’t funny, but my scaly breasted lorikeet is. I’m sure you don’t have to be racist to be Australian, but they do very well in track and field events. She was a rescue bird. I explain to her that she is much better looked after here than a donkey would be in her own country. She hasn’t a clue what I‘m talking about.

That’s a monkey speaking the truth to architecture.
pot calling the kettle black there...what were the Maori wars about? a Colonial government showing disrespect to the original inhabitants(Maori)? cmon, every single country that were colonized in the last 500yrs were racists in one way or another, your shit does stink to bro

You speak in riddles Dd. hahaha love it mate. Them Aussies were sent from our shores when their crooked descendants showed themselves, we had to send honest folk to watch them as they tended to eat soil a lot but those " keepers" got bored and did unmentionable stuff with the savages they had been sent to keep. Modern Australia was born . heehee. Now the cheeky sods wont let us lighten the gene pool by emigrating there without some serious goop jumping and begging. We still have to put up with " neighbours" and "home and away" though !!!.
lol the Poms have possibly made one of the most fundamental blunders in the last 500yrs, you guys made the epic error of shipping out the convicts to a fantastic island, when in fact you should have left those crims to a miserable life in the Old Dart and moved on to the Great Southern Land, no wonder you're pissed!

I didn’t expect a free pass on that comment. :high-five: cheers.

hahaha couldnt agree more mate. We got shafted big time. I was a shitbag as a kid . would they send me ? NO!. Maybe if I nick some bread or sell my body ( NO mr S just No , science would not want it !). lol I learnt to paraglide in the hope I can escape the island one day !.

Just to be clear: I was laughing about my lorikeet, not about racism which really is no fun. The origins of cannabis prohibition were in racism after all, it affects everyone.
When I lived on a marae there is a part of the powhiri (welcome) which looks like rubbing noses. It’s called a hongi and is about swapping breath with someone. More than once felt the sting of a slap coz I’m the ‘wrong’ colour. And yes, a great grandmother was transported as a pickpocket back in the day. All very prosaic.

Really though, lorikeets are a lot of fun! Ours is fearless in a house full of cats and dogs. She inquisitive like a Spaniard (shit, am I in trouble again already?) engaging and highly amusing. They’re very tactile and like a lot of hands-on attention.
I never would have kept a bird, but she was a rescue and she’s out of her habitat. What’s a donkey to do?

would she just keep explaining the chemical reactions going off as you "angry pirated" her though ??
" pink eye and a bruised shin doesnt make me an angry pirate , it is a reaction to a coagulent , irritant with my eyes fluids and the black mark appearing where you made contact with your foot ( blunt trauma injury ) is blood vessels bursting and flooding under the skin , we call this a bruise. It is no better than the Donkey Punch we tried last week !. How will this improve our sex life again ???" . My best power move killed dead in an instant !!!!. Mrs GG is a trainee teacher who now has librarian duties in the reading corner. Although her surrounded by "peter Rabbit and winnie the pooh "doesnt have the same intellectual aesthetics too it as this hotty right here but Half my age and an ex dance instructor too so will take some beating for me.heehee

Are lorikeets bush babies

I had to google that as I hadn’t heard of ‘bush babies’ before. Sure enough rainbow lorikeets appear. Maybe @MrX can clarify? Although there doesn’t seem to be much bush where he lives.
Ours is a scaly breasted lorikeet. There are 52 species. They are the world’s smallest parrot.
Very engaging. They pack HUGE amounts of personality into their tiny frames.

Ah! Turns out your bush babies are little primates. I read again your thing about the little hand and got confused. Easily done to a donkey, to be fair. More confused, shall we say?
I cut and paste your question into the google search box - so of course lorikeets came up ahem
:ganjamon: :rolleyes::rofl:

It’s nice to enjoy the vigour of seedlings. Before coming to 420mag I managed to stall some sproutlings for six weeks even smaller than these. So far outside of a healthy VPD they had leaves like leather. It’s a wonder they survived. That, and two that were killed by curious dogs and one of the three that survived that first round was half-savaged by Trixie the lorikeet (above). (Trixie is short for trichoglossus chlorolepidotus and also short tempered if you want to stop her doing Anything).
Since then I’ve been taking cuttings and then mostly monster cropping by taking cuttings in flower meaning they take aaaages to get going. This has been fine to keep things at a low hum, it’s worked well. Now though, it’s good to get a bit of energy going when we need it.

And the tent..

I thinned them out the other night to get a bit more air in their middles. I was surprised how much they needed it when I had a proper look. It really would have been problematic if I didn’t get them out for a going over.
So, stretch must be all but over now. Time to sit back and watch the pretty colours..

Ok just watched my bag of mega crop get unloaded at an airport at the other end of the country. It spent a week at LAX before heading over. Maybe it’ll be here for their next feed? Or the one after that.

Thanks for popping in, folks.
