DD Stable Of Impermanence

Tent looks great, and the little ones look perfect,DD !
Glad to see you're joining the Mega Crop crew...
You're going to love that stuff-it doesn't get much easier than MC!

I had to google that as I hadn’t heard of ‘bush babies’ before. Sure enough rainbow lorikeets appear. Maybe @MrX can clarify? Although there doesn’t seem to be much bush where he lives.
Ours is a scaly breasted lorikeet. There are 52 species. They are the world’s smallest parrot.
Very engaging. They pack HUGE amounts of personality into their tiny frames.
here's a Bush Baby right there
bb.png

they tend to hangout in African countries, have similar cute n cuddley little things here, sort of half Rat half Possum?
*when i googled Bush Babies the above came up in the search, possibly Lorikeets are called the same but ive never heard it?

Yeah, nah. My bad. I had bush baby and the bird in the same search line #stoner. The bb’s are primates. Possums we have here too and they love the taste of cannabis! Many a lurk back in the day trying to get rolls of chicken wire into the bush inconspicuously to protect guerilla grows from the little buggers. Good times. They will jump up and down on the roof of a patch (chicken wire across the top) to get to the buds.
I  my indoor garden!

21 days above ground

It’s nice to enjoy the vigour of seedlings. Before coming to 420mag I managed to stall some sproutlings for six weeks even smaller than these. So far outside of a healthy VPD they had leaves like leather. It’s a wonder they survived. That, and two that were killed by curious dogs and one of the three that survived that first round was half-savaged by Trixie the lorikeet (above). (Trixie is short for trichoglossus chlorolepidotus and also short tempered if you want to stop her doing Anything).
Since then I’ve been taking cuttings and then mostly monster cropping by taking cuttings in flower meaning they take aaaages to get going. This has been fine to keep things at a low hum, it’s worked well. Now though, it’s good to get a bit of energy going when we need it.

And the tent..

I thinned them out the other night to get a bit more air in their middles. I was surprised how much they needed it when I had a proper look. It really would have been problematic if I didn’t get them out for a going over.
So, stretch must be all but over now. Time to sit back and watch the pretty colours..

Ok just watched my bag of mega crop get unloaded at an airport at the other end of the country. It spent a week at LAX before heading over. Maybe it’ll be here for their next feed? Or the one after that.

Thanks for popping in, folks.
:yummy::peace::cool:
Wow Dd the flowering is going well.mate. they look very happy in there. Thinning out is a pain but essential I think. I wanted to go with less defol for this one but seeing the thicket I have ow , it is not going to happen.lol
Babies are looking good and I have to agree on the seeds speed over clones. I used to only do cuttings and kept a strain of coca cola alive for years doing it but once I had got some seeds to try , I was sold. Being able to let them get on with it at full strength and not need constant care is a bonus. I dont think it affects quality of the end result at all just the vigour of growth. Far easier for manifold or quad training too. working with the abstract structure can be a pain in the ass too. I get hung up on the cuttings route now when I think of them just being a branch of the original. ! . knowing exactly what your getting is the only bonus if seeds are available to use. I do love the choices and variety now too. soon build tolerance if using the same strain. Great job DD.

I would end up taking them all in as pets.lol so adorable I would hate scaring them off.lol
I would be a shit cattle farmer too.lol

Babies and grownups are looking great. I hope the MC finds its way across the country soon! :sorry: about the holdup at LAX. I feel responsible since it's not far down the road. :)

Shed, that’s very sweet of you. I suspect though, that if you were in charge of freight forwarding at the airport then mega crop would be bumped up a priority point or two.
It’s all good. It’ll get here when it does.
It occurs to me - not for the first time - that the population of NZ must surely be smaller than some suburbs of LA. My thought is that we need a mayor, not a parliament. ;)
Thanks for swinging the Stable door.

Plants are looking great Donkey. Are you going to be training any of the new strains?
Hey Lew. Yes they will all be quadded!
At the moment they are up to their 5th nodes. I’m going to let them go past it a little then cut them back.
The shoots from their first couple of nodes I hope to turn into clones as I strip them back. Same with the main stem if it gets a few nodes past 5.
Might even get a semi-perpetual thing going by chucking clones in the tent before these finish up.
Cheers :yummy:

lol ok, hey those possums there cause a lot of havoc for sure, were they an introduced animal to NZ? loathsome creatures(same as SouthEastAsian monkeys) with a bad tude, i remember yrs ago living in a farmhouse with a family of possums in the barn loft, they learnt to come and eat bananas out of your hand, but if you were too slow unpeeling another banana they would grab a hold of your finger and bite it hard to hurry up the process...nasty shits they are!

Merry Christmas Double D! All the best to you and yours over the holidays.
Still Christmas on your side of the world, so I hope it's a merry and joyous one! Happy holidays DD :thumb:.

Hey folks. Thanks for your kind thoughts and words.
Normally not a day either of us relish, but today has been pretty nice.
Slept in, wake and bake and coffees for ages, played some music for an hour or two, just watched this..
bit of Xmas cheer
and recommending it. We’ve a roast chook to get to and probably another film. A slow day for the dogs.

Aside from 420, 2019 was annus horribilis for me. You all have made it so much better for me not least because of the fabulous medicine we’ve grown with your help - in other ways too.

I hereby heehaw hope you all have a lovely one too.
:peace: :high-five:

I’m a lucky donkey

Here is today’s Seedsman comparative grow update.

And here is our HulkLato after 5 weeks above ground. From one roof space stealth garden to another from the other side of the world! Blooming fabulous. Blooming in 6 weeks or more yet. I’ll top her soon to start the quadform on her and to encourage the shoots I want for clones before I strip her undercarriage.
