DC's First Indoor Multi-Strain

Right on well I hope I have the same result!

Im sure you will. The only other thing I would think about is room. A 3x3 might be small for 4 plants. I had a 3x3 and LEDs and it wasnt big enough. I veg for 45 days and 3 plants will fill my 5x5 tent during flower. If you dont want to run out of run and not have enough light coverage i would flower at day 40 or even bit earlier. I had 3 going during my first grow and they were so big I had to keep upgrading. Lol. I was up to 5 LEDS 5hen switched to HID. Started in a 2x2 tent. Then 3x3. Then a 5x5. Id say the biggest mistake I made during my 1st season was underestimating how big they get.

Yeah I actually thought my blue dream seed wasn't gonna pop.. So I planned on 3 and then it came out and now I have 4! A friend is offering a larger tent I'll likely go pickup and throw them in, or I'll give one of my To Cookies plants away.

I know my lights are a big disadvantage but I got this tent, both lights, fan and carbon filter for 200 bucks off Kijiji and its all in pretty good shape. I didn't plan to get this into it but I should've known as I have trouble not going all in when I take anything up lol. I don't even smoke that much but I really have enjoyed growing I find it extremely relaxing especially after a long day of work and then 3 toddlers to grab a few hits and tend the plants for a few minutes of peace and quiet.

My chart looks about the same just in metric. My watering container is just an old Brita jug that only hold 2L, need to find something practical that holds a gallon. Plus another photoshoot. Is it normal for the blue dream leaves to be curled like that?

Not sure how to bench Mark the growth after a week or so but they look great to me especially hash plant. She's gonna be some nice bedtime smoking I hope!

Yup. me too. But its rewarding and a lot of fun. If you dont smoke a lot, why not grow some cbd plants?. Ive started taking oil and I love its effects. Its easy to make and super good for you. All my plants this year will be non THC. At least I hope. Heres pics from making oil.

Well I have been smoking more over the last few months. My girlfriend smokes everyday so it's mostly for her but I've found myself enjoying a nightly toke. I also give lots away to friends and family but I do intend to try growing a CBD plant next though to try out the anxiety and pain relief benefits.

Day 11 Update

Let the babies dry right out before watering, even the pots sides were bone dry and the pots were very light, I get it now... upped nutritents for hash plant to week 2 dose. First dose of week 1 nutes for the other three.

Day 13 Update
All the plants responded well to the nutrient doses and seemed to have grown more in the last two days than previous days. I think I should've lightly dosed them sooner. The pots were pretty dry already they seem to be thirsty, fed all 4 plants with week 2 nutrients this morning.

I was a little uncomfortable with how dry they got but I wanted to see how much drier it would get than what I previously thought was dry enough. This morning when I watered I think was perfect. The pots weren't soggy and soaked constantly like when I was watering daily or sometimes a few sips twice a day but still had a bit of moisture.

Youll get it figured out. Also depends on pot size. I grow mostly in 7 gallon bags. But I grow big plants. I just stick my finger in an inch, maybe a lil further. If I feel any moisture, I wait. If its dry I water. Ill also feel the weight. During seedling stage, I water until the container is heavy. I usually wind up watering every 24 to 36 hrs. I know a lot of people say to water to runoff every time. I dont. Rarely ever. Thats just me. Its worked so I dont change anything. Its like I said. Youll figure it out. If you were overwatering youd know. Your plants look great. One thing I will say, is the slower you water the better. Dumping the whole thing fast is terrible. Watering slowly allows oxygen to be take down with the water.

Yeah I always slowly pour around the outside of the cup an let it saturate and then move to another plant and work my way around each one until I see some runoff on each pot.

This stage is so easy I cant wait to get to start training!

Im so on the fence about these lights though. It bugs me that I know I wont get full potential out of them and I've been eyeing up the MARS Hydro TSW 2000W already! But I know I should at least get my first grow done and learning with these will likely be fine.

What I have is a tiny shiphon hose. I set my jug of water on something and let gravity do the work. It takes about 2 or 3min a gallon. Anything bigger is to fast. This way you can really get all the soil wet. Works amazing

Day 14

Well they've all survived two weeks so far. Fed today probably 3/4 of a litre until 10 to 15 percent runoff at 5.5PH. I threw in a space heater I found while cleaning out my basement set at 25 degrees celsius as the pots feel cold and likely contributing to slow root growth. It'll keep temps from plummeting during lights out as well. Hoping it helps speed up some growth. Found out my furnace is actually shot so 3gs is coming out of pocket on Monday for a new one, ouch! I was going to just replace the fan motor but it is obsolete or overpriced if you can find and the heat exchanger is on the verge of cracking.

Had some time today so I filled the 4 5g fabric pots with Promix HP and stored them in a tote until transplant time. Can't wait to get them out of these cardboard like pots they are terrible.

Hash plant is working on its third set of leaves nicely. The blue dream is still looking skinny and on the first set with very small 2nd set. Since raising the lights a few inches the leaves appear more spry and upward instead of curling down. I wonder if they were just getting too much light and trying to curl away.
TO Cookies 1 is right behind hash plant and filling out and TO 2 a little behind #1.

Later in the day they are looking great, everyone seems to be more lively looking instead of curling down. Lights are up to 17" away and the heater kept temps above 20 degrees during lights out. Pots are still a little cool and damp hopefully they'll warm up over some time.

Yeah I wasn't too worried about the differential just the fact it would get down to 15 or 16 and how cool the soil and pots feel.
