Dark Matter, Red Sky, Chunky Cherry Thai, BP Skunk In LOS

Highya SO,

She looks to be ahead of mine by 4-5 days in finishing. Yeah, she's packing on the buds!! I agree with Grand Daddy Black, "that's a lot a weed".
I prefer white saltwater fish and shellfish to freshwater. Freshwater fish is a bit fishy for me. All the healthy ones from the sea? I say nay. That healthy oily tastes awful to me.

Julie is like that. She is careful about eating fish. I like most all!! We're having a nice fall day here today, with a promise of nice weather until the weekend. I still have 3 ladies out, and check 2 times a day. Today had about 6 instances of budrot (between 3 ladies). Very sticky!! Trichomes are almost all cloudy! Pistils are almost half withered. I think yours were more than mine. Very nice, if faint, fragrance down there, now. Fruity, and pine-ish! I hope you're able to leave her on the stalk until you feel she's ready! Happy Smokin'

Still 3 in the earth that's nice! We're rumored to be rainy tonight and clear tomorrow mid morning, then sunny for 3 days. I'd like to get to the end of those days and weigh the benefits of waiting or chopping. I think she'll be done enough then. I don't want to see her waste much more.

In addition to drooling over your plant and hoping you can stay ahead of the bud rot, I want to give a shout out to the long-gone Dutchman who posted a great bud washing video on one of his threads. The key is not to bang the flowers on the side of the bucket!

And while Doc recommended really hot water, I agree with Azi and use what comes out of the hose.
Thank you for that one Shed! Dutchie did a great job with it! It's been a while and I was having to figure it out again. I tried warm and cold. Skip the warm.

I'm going to need to go with h202 as well. Doc Recommended- "Bucket 1: 3 parts RO water to 1 part 3% H202" . Do you know if this is the updated formula for mold and mildew'd weed? Or if there is one? This question goes to everyone as well please.

Do you think spraying them down while the plant finishes would help knock it down? The flowers are getting wet from being rained on, maybe a little h2o2 would keep the nasties at bay.
That's interesting Azi. I was thinking in the same line of spraying some lactic acid LABS on her. h202 is another one to ponder. This morning it stops, I'll get out there and spray!

GOT THE CLONINATOR GOING UPDATE

So my BIL likes Stankberry enough to go for a full room grow of her! Here's a bunch of cuts from mom in clonex solution/ro water. Also they were dipped in clonex gel as I put them in their holders. First time I did this it took ~30 days for super roots. The solution brought my ph to 5.7. Perfect! 4ml/ltr solution.
Have a nice day, and you old farts, get the Vax bump if you can! I did yesterday! WooHoo! let's put an end to this thing!

Stone obviously did a half-assed job germinating that seed. (Sorry) :laughtwo:

And, I don't think it's a righty. Looks like a lefty to me. (Sorry again) :laughtwo:

I agree with Jon. My gut says it will be fine.

Never seen one like that before!
I bet it develops just fine. Cotyledons. Who cares. Lol. My money is on the plant.
I dunno Otter, but I'd crack another one. She might develop ok, but I'd think it would be at half pace for the first bit (she does only have the one cotyledon).

Yeah, this one's a riddle! I probably sang the wrong song over the seeds when I planted them. Where's that seed planting song? It'll come. Anyway, I think I'll put another one in water tonight if there's no action later. I've seen similar things others had go both ways I think.

The H2O2 might have come from Jorge who recommended it for PM at harvest, and I have used that to wash since the beginning.

That said, I have never found H2O2 (even undiluted 3%) to have any effect on PM or botrytis, and I've tried over and over. Also, neither LABS or milk worked on PM for me.

And this could be purely coincidence, but since I started spraying with 1% citric acid I haven't had any bud rot.

All that said, I still use H2O2 in my wash because - in strong dilutions - it seems to kill a lot of the bugs still on the plant at harvest. If yours isn't covered in aphids at harvest, you could try citric acid (which is what lemon juice is!) and baking soda for the wash. Citric acid is cheap and you can easily dilute it to 1%, rather than guessing what your percentage is with lemon juice concentrate.

I don't think anything you wash with will kill the botrytis if there is any. That just needs to get cut and tossed.

I'm actually looking forward to getting some bud rot so I can see if the citric acid spray works on that too, but I'm a bit strange that way. ;)

:yahoo: It's alive! A room full of Stankberry sounds amazing.
Little Righty here is giving me a pause. Anybody grow one like it and have it's secondary leaf set come in ok?
What Rex said ↓. If you have time it will probably come around. I'd drop another.

Good idea!

A solid decision to avoid further loss!

I mix mine rather expensively at 50/50 3% H2O2/tap water. Not really expensively since it's $1/bottle, but more expensive than citric acid and baking soda. :)

But like I said, that's for bugs.
I have a couple of gallons of concentrated h202. It's 9% I think. I have to check and do the math. Thanks Shed!:woohoo: No bugs allowed!
