Highya SO,
Great work on your harvest! And, of course, great to have ms. Otter handy to fix things! Great work for you both!! I was thinking the same thing about taking down a lady a day late. Today, the one I chopped had quite a lot of instances of budrot. Not big in size, just a lot. So, I thought for next year to listen to gut instinct better!!. Today's lady wasn't sprayed with the microbe solution until the second time. (I think that's why the budrot.) Seemed okay the first spraying. I have one more (Apollo 13) left to chop. And that one was sprayed both times before the rainy stretches, and I haven't seen hardly any botrytis on that one. Glad you're done with the trimming!! Happy Smokin'
Thanks HashGirl, shrinking beauty won't be long!Congrats on the harvest, Stone. I can't wait to see what kind of yield you get from her. She was a beauty.
That labor of love was 7 hours first day to cut, wash and hang. Then 6 more trimming the next. My buddy Neville was a big help the whole Hazy way!Congratulations on getting that tree harvested before the really bad weather kicks in! And how you did it in one day is very impressive. Last time I harvested a plant that large, it took me 6 days!
I always like Tears for Fears - Sowing the Seeds of Love.Where's that seed planting song? It'll come.
That's a good one! And righty is alive but nothing emerging.Sowing the Seeds of Love.
Highya SO, HG, guys,
HG - Microbe solution is a water environment warmed up to 80 degrees (roughly) adding cooked white rice (some use cooked white potato) and some leaf mold (in the woods - leaves not right on top) into a 1 gal paint strainer bag and a small rock for weight. Wait for 2 days, then apply to plant roots, or leaves. I do the root application weekly, and the leaf application before rainy spells. Check out Jadam's Microbial Solution. Happy Smokin'
Oil is a solvent to trichomes so I wouldn't get it near them to melt away. The only thing I've put on buds is BT, and something for powdery mildew in 2018, I forget the name now. Not oil based! I had good luck this year having only the Mosquito people coming and spraying for skeeters and ticks. I had nothing big to fight off. My leaves were sucked and a few chew holes but not many. There were some fungus gnats but they didn't seem to bother anyone. Next year I want to have something to battle bud rot with! Pop in on InTheShed and see his grow. He's an expert outdoor bug fighter! He's tuned in!Hey @StoneOtter, I have a question and it's pretty much related, lemme know if we need to discuss elsewhere. I got some stuff very similar to 3 and 1 that's an all natural bug spray for your leaves. It has nothing but various oils in it, like peppermint, rosemary, etc...I tested it on a leaf and it's fine. But can you spray this kind of product on your buds too? Or are products like that just for the leaves in veg? It seems there's a lot less bugs when it's bud time for some reason. I see you're doing the make your own thing for next time, but you must have used a product like this on your outdoor girls? Any help? And thank you!!!!

LOL showing your age Otter!"What me wait?"- Alfred E Otter.
Assuming that was the continuation of Otter's answer to me? Thanks, Shed! There's so many pest products is very hard to know what works and what's a waste of coin.Oil will also brown the pistils, which is why I go with Safer Insect Killing soap spray for pests in flower. Spray when the sun is low and let them dry all day. Rinse off the next morning. 1% citric acid spray for PM works beautifully.
LOL showing your age Otter!
I think he said he had tried it for both pm and botrytis and didn't have any luck, but his 1% citric spray does seem to help.Looking around for anti botrytis armaments I got dizzy actually. This paper was interesting though difficult to sieve through. Looks like these folks have tried and liked h202 for botrytis from their summary below. @InTheShed you were onto something it appears with that!
I have stoner memory Azi! Thanks!I think he said he had tried it for both pm and botrytis and didn't have any luck, but his 1% citric spray does seem to help.
