Dark Matter, Red Sky, Chunky Cherry Thai, BP Skunk In LOS

That cloninator is working out rather well. Great roots!
I was so happy to have it work in the 30 days last time. It's really worth thinking about going back to it as my first choice. I'm always struggling with clones. I think I don't work with them enough to master one way to get it done without collateral damage. This is close. BTW, thanks for coining the term cloninator Sr Shed! I did make this one after looking at your model.:thanks:

BUD SNIPPING DAY UPDATE! :woohoo:

She did better than my eyes told me! Thank goodness! After picking tons of rotten buds she yielded 20.4 oz's! At 67%rh. So I have the bag open. House rh is ~65% lately.
Her buds look like this.
And made a pile like this.
That I put in a turkey bag with a hygrometer in it.
Then sealed, that all went in a resealable bucket. Now open.
I can't wait for next season!

I was so waiting for this post! Ok Otter, those buds look absolutely smashing. Evil. They look very dense too. And sticky, yes? Will you post a "Smoke Report?" I gotta know what it tastes like cured. That was a superior grow man. Excellent work. And damn, even losing a good bit you still yielded basically 3/4 of a pound of superior buds!!!! ONE plant! That's amazing and I wish I lived near you, I'd take the damn chair to your place. Wow Otter, just wow.

BTW, our curing methods are not dissimilar. I go from hanging to a large rectangular box container that has a lid that seals tight and I burp what I hung just as I hung it with zero trimming or removing branches for five days. Then I take that out of there and trim the branches as required so each branch fits in one of those exact buckets you use, food grade with that top. Five days of burping in there. THEN I take it out and final trim and jar it. It's already super charged on the cure to begin when it hits the jars. I would assume from seeing what you do it is different a little but philosophically the same idea. It's like giving your cure steroids. My Yoda in Oregon told me about it and I have used this method religiously. He says there's something about leaving EVERYTHING on the plant (except the fan leaves and giant sugar leaves you took off at hanging) when you container and bucket it that affects the buds very positively, and even he can't tell me what it is, just that he's been doing it for years and it works like a dream. I bet someone in here would have a theory on why it works. Anyway, again, great job man, super impressed.

Thanks Jon! This version of her is quite dense. Maybe if I smoke enough of her I'll dream up a jet pack for your chair to get you here!

Very close to my method. The room RH is a little high. Been 65% so burping seems futile. Truth is I'm dry at 67% however I'm not sure if curing is happening there. I seem to remember 55 to 65% being the range. Burping seems not the thing since my bag is always open and won't get below room rh. Is that what rice balls are for? Oooooooh!

Congrats on the stupendous harvest, Stone! 571 grams from one plant is amazing.

How long did it take you to trim her? And, what happened with the section you sprayed with MEJA?

Depends on your house AC level I guess. Works well here when I can't dry in the tent. As far as target number, if you ask Emilya she'll tell you the target is 63 and 58 is for long term storage. Personally I feel it's a matter of personal preference unless you have so much yield you NEED long term storage.

Amazing haul Otter. :bravo: Over a pound even if you got that down to 62% I'd say!

I'm sure you can cure at 67% though that's a bit damp for my liking. I'd still be worried about mold up there but I'm a worrier. And you'll have a better chance of at least getting them down to 65 if you split that into three bags while you're burping.

They look amazing all piled up in the tray...congratulations on that terrific harvest.

Highya SO,

Congrats on your harvest!! Very nice grow! She sure was a looker. Btw, I have a bag just like yours, only it took two plants to get there!! Happy Smokin'

For the third time, "That's a lotta' weed!" :)

Congrats on your grow and harvest. I'll be waiting on the prototype of the Jet Pack!

I think the burping thing is as much about renewing the oxygen for the microbes as it is about gradually lowering the humidity.

And congrats on the harvest. Pretty satisfying I'll bet!

Thanks! 7 hours first day and 6 the second to her her cut washed and hung. I sprayed the whole plant and I can't tell with my eyes any difference. I think my timing was off. too early in flower maybe? I won't be able to tell. The smoke is working good. It still has it's magical pain relief and is good head candy to dream on.

Beautiful harvest reward!:welldone: That haul should last you a good couple months. ;)
