Dark Matter, Red Sky, Chunky Cherry Thai, BP Skunk In LOS

We trapped the garden area and kept the seedlings in another area until we caught them. We caught 2 and Felonious deemed the garden safe to go back to with the seedlings so that's where they are currently with only one mouse trap set currently as I accidentally tripped one of them today when I was watering them. I heard another loud snap this afternoon and thought we'd caught another one but it was just the washer dying without spin drying my clothes. :(
Never heard of lawn lime, but which lime is better for quick decomposition of a body organic material? Asking for a friend...

Epsom salt also adds sulfur, which is what in Terpinator!
Huh… my well water is full of sulphur. Maybe I don’t need a Terpinator like product…

My well water is full of sulphur, too. We're not neighbours are we, DeeBoy? Are you in Canada? Can you say?

You can use tap water, just not too hot.
Actually cool water is best.

Some tap and well waters come with a lot of dissolved minerals in them which could coat your buds a little so if you have really bad water then filtering it might be best.

For most of us though, tap is fine.
If I just use tap okay, but my tap Ph is 7.1. I may as well use tap and Ph it to 6.3 as every other drop of water these plants have ever seen has been, right? Duh.

Thanks!!

Definitely ask a more experienced person to confirm this, but I'm pretty sure the sulphur in your tap water is in a different form than the sulphur in Terpinator and one does not substitute for the other. Just FYI of something I *think* addresses what you said.

Gotcha. Those products are not necessarily needed anyway. My farm country well water aquifer has been growing crops for hundreds of years. Full of minerals. I’m trying to be as minimal as possible, this week anyway.

Good morning, Jon.

I recently bookmarked a good tutorial on bud washing that you might find helpful, too.

Bud Washing by ProfessorFlora

I've never heard of or seen a nightcrawler. Is it a worm? A snake? A bug? A reptile?

And, why would you want to catch them? Do you eat them?
A nightcrawler is a large worm we have here. They live under our lawns and get pretty big. When I was a kid I sold them to a bait store for a penny each. They sold them for fresh water fishing bait. I fished as well.

Thanks @HashGirl and @StoneOtter, do you use nightcrawlers or worms in your plants? I fish with nightcrawlers and they're huge, I have to use a #3 or #4 hook to use half of one. I can get plain worms that are smaller. Does it matter or is this a silly question?

They're no longer drinking the stuff after chop so pH shouldn't matter a wit.

Lol, and DUH on me. I realized that immediately after I posted that. Thanks, I'm a dummy. Lol.

Little red wigglers in the soil for growing. But if you want big fish ya gotta have big bait! That crawler was in my outdoor garden.

Highya SO, guys,

I remember SongYang Cho said rice was the best to use cooked rice to cultivate microbes with. I use 1/2 cup cheap white rice, about 3 cups water, and cook for 1/2 hr. Put in bag in water, put in leaf mokd, and good to go. I make mine in the cellar being cold outdoors. I got an aquarium heater to keep warm enough for microbes. I make about 3.5 - 4 gal batch. I mix 6 cups to two gal water. And I do this once a week. I have plenty to give to roses, tomatos, houseplants, etc. Love the stuff! Happy Smokin'

Thanks for the recipe Bode! Next year I'm going to want to have it.

I'm starting to twitch watching these buds go rotten. Maybe a few more days, maybe not? I found a couple of big buds rotten today. Deep breathing.

No live critters in my grow other than Felonious, of course. ;)

And, I don't fish. I rarely even eat fish. I like trout but not if I eat it too often.

I get the fish thing. I prefer white saltwater fish and shellfish to freshwater. Freshwater fish is a bit fishy for me. All the healthy ones from the sea? I say nay. That healthy oily tastes awful to me.
My indoor ones come with the compost and linger as a bonus.

LOOKING CLOSELY MONDAY UPDATE!

Hi everyone, it's another good day to grow pot! Though not a sunny one, or a dry one, it's one she's winning the battle of the budrot! Not as much as I'd like but she's putting on so much bud overnight it's worth the 4 nugs I have to cut tomorrow. As long as that stays.:rolleyes:So she plumped up since last pics.
