Dark Devil Auto: A Community Grow Record

Now will DDA always show purple or does is have to be cool temps as well

Here some different Phenos. Grew three DD so far, got 3 different Phenos. Don´t know what to think about that, if thats a good or a bad thing. But take a look by yourself

1st Pheno, slow growing, smaller, more dense Buds, smells citrus with something heavy in it, tastes nice, gives a smooth Head High that turns in slowly and also turns out slowly

2nd Pheno, not so much citrus smelling, more like incense, very tasty, somehow spicy. Big Airy Buds that grew fast. Overall fast paced Plant, very forgiving. Overwatered her, Underwatered, Over and underfed, wrong ph, rocket fuel Nutes, she recieved everything from me that tried to kill her but she still managed 115g under a 250W HPS. Impressive Genetics

3rd Pheno (Green), grows more tall, smaller airy Buds, smells also Citrus and Mint too, but much more intense smell. Very nice Taste, unlike any other weed i´ve smoked so far in my 14 years as a stoner. Very strong head high that keeps you awake, let you talk funny shit and act more crazy as usual, funny to you and your environment. The High turns in gently and turns out quickly and makes you feel a little tired but not too much afterwards. Gives you a light Body feel.

The Lady on the Left Hand is the DD

My current two fit the description of your first and second phenotypes Crocodoc. I've also grown all three types over time.

At 91 days and counting. DDA6 has more of the exotic spicy tone to her, with fat, dense buds that are so deep purple as to appear black.

She's flushing cloudy now, and I'm planning her harvest for Tuesday morning.

DDA7 has the sativa profile with buds climbing the branches and more of a citrus smell to her.

She's starting to eat up the large fans. Maybe by the beginning of next week she'll be ready, unless she starts bulking up, in which case I'll keep her going as long as I can make myself stay away. :laughtwo:

Well I managed to save her she's been on life support for 3 weeks now !!!! She hasn't grown much at all since the heat issue has just been resolved!!! She is starting to show small flowers. tell me what you think !?!?!? Planted 4-9-2017

One of the smallest budding plants . be ever seen !!!!!!!

You may have stunted her LTS. That's ok, more seeds will magically appear sometime this week and you can try another. The next one will amaze you. This one will give you a small taste, but that'll be enough to keep you going. :battingeyelashes:

These didn't load with the last post

Wow! I've never had to contend with rodentia in my grows. Good luck dynamo. :hugs:

Amazing looking girls you got there sue. I can't wait to drop my first dda in a few weeks .
Why thank you Aotearoa, and :welcome: to the community grow. A new traveling companion. :yahoo: This garden is one of my all-time favorite places to visit.

Those plants look that good because they grow in soil using Doc Bud's HBb kit and they're lucky enough to be sitting under Timber COBs. I'm blessed with the best. The plants absolutely love the light. I look forward to watching your joyful journey exploring the wonders of the DDA. :battingeyelashes:

Yup same here....I love looking at the DDA grows

I can't wait until you fire your first pot up Cannoisseuras. :laughtwo: You've been drooling over the strain for a while now. Prepare to be totally mesmerized. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Since she's coming down tomorrow I decided to clean her up today.

No more solar panels. :battingeyelashes:

The camera makes her look lighter. She's really this dark:

She has the rich spicy and fuel smell. It's reall amazing how different they smell, side-by-side. I cleared some of the deteriorating fans from DDA7 while I was there and she gives off a bright burst of citrus, more lime than anything else.

Thanks for the welcome Sue, friendly as always.
I'm no stranger to your setup. I've read this thread from the beginning and have been lurking in the shadows. I really want to try the brix method but I live in rented accommodation so I have to pull down my 5x5, 14 cob set up every 3 months when inspection time rolls around. For now coco is easier.

I can certainly appreciate that Aotearoa. I get that inspection once a year, but growing in the 2x2s allowed me to hide it behind curtains and claim it was needed storage space. It's worked well at least once. I just have to unplug and hide cords in advance. It makes my daughter, who lives next door, incredibly anxious when inspection comes around. I try to remain casual.

Someday we won't have to hide like this.

I use it as an excuse to give the tent a good clean down when it's emptied.
Got a question for ya, have you ever up-potted the dda using fabric pots? My plan is to go from 1-2 gallon and then into its final home of a 5 gallon. I'm running low on space and this would work out perfectly.
