I'm making the CBD Critical Cure into harvest oil and decided it was time to finally get the DDA oil I made a few days back into some capsules.

Of course I tried one. It was close to time for my next CBD Critical Cure capsule, and I thought nothing could be harmed if I took one of these instead. It's just beginning to really hit right now, and all I can say is "Oh Yeah!!!" The universe shifted a few minutes back. Lol!

I'll have to be sure to set a few of these aside. These are superior to the ones I made before I left for Jamaica in February.

Hi Sue, I made oil last night 14oz - 500g coconut oil I have no idea how strong yet. I am planning on using oo caps, what dosage should I try or expect as a newbie to edibles? I did try some last night before bed I just put a dip on biscuit.

I want to start accumulating data on the growing of this particular strain, the Dark Devil Auto by Sweet Seeds. I chose this strain based solely on its picture on Herbie's site, such a girl thing to do, I know, but the instinct served me well. This easy to grow strain rewarded me with the finest buzz I've grown to date. I know of one other grower on this site, bobrown14, who got the same effects that I got from my harvest, not surprising since we grow in comparable soils, based on the Clackamas Coots-style of Living Organic Soil (LOS). Reading some dud reviews of this strain convinces me that the soil choice may have been a big contributing factor to what I experienced.

This strain kept me high the entire time I smoked it. What I mean by that is that there were often spans of up to 24 hours and I was still feeling effects. Both Bob and I had borderline hallucinogenic effects. My experience was the zippy high I'd been searching for, one that had me out walking along the river or cleaning the house while I hummed a happy tune.

This is SweetSue's obsessive strain, and I'm not shy about it. It occurred to me that it might be fun to run some seeds side-by-side with others who were experimenting with the Dark Devil Auto too, and so we gathered three of us to start. This journal is open to anyone who wants to document your own Dark Devil Grow.

The Rule:

The only thing I ask is that you stop once a week and add an update of your grow, if one is in progress. I welcome any and all reposts of previous grows, should you want yours included. I will maintain the journal, so if you disappear in the middle of your grow, I'll probably come looking for you.

That's my only rule. I want us to have fun with this. We have an opportunity to share information on the Dark Devil Auto but also on techniques on increasing the harvest yield and potency of autos. This may be a new approach to data collection on a particular strain here at 420 and I'm going to be winging it, so I ask for your patience if things get challenging. I don't anticipate any concerns.

so I jus noticed u mentioned bb14 in here and he is a big contributing factor y I'm getting such gud buds now he has helped me learn a great deal about organic growing and I also use the same type of soil and stuff he does so I'm pretty excited to grow this dark devil and also I got from sweet seeds red poison but I know this thread is for the dda but I jus wanted to throw it out there since I'm germing my first dda in the next few days so I got some time to finish reading this post lol its a long one but wana get a few helpful pointers for growing this strain since all my last and only 3 autos ive grown stuted on me the first 2 cud hav been cause I didn't plant them in there final containers first but I did with electric fruit and she still stunted on me but it wasn't enuf to make me give up on autos cause I went ahead ong made a sweetseeds order lol anyway jus wanted to say thanx for having this thread on this strain cause I'm sure its loaded with tons of helpful info on growing some great dda

Welcome to the gang Jones. We're always glad to find a new enthuisiast to introduce the wonders of the DDA to. BB is my organic soil hero as well as a major contributor to my love of the Dark Devils. Without him this thread likely wouldn't have been started. We fueled each other back when I started growing here.

Yea he is the reason i started growing organically and now i use a coots style of los n its been amazing ever since now im working on learning to grow autos any helpful quick pointers for this dda im starting like does 18/6 do good for lighting or will tht promote more stunting??

Sorry I missed this qaza. I'd take one and wait an hour. By then you'll know how potent it is. I take one in the AM and one in late afternoon. I used to take three a day, but this new oil is so potent I can't take a third through the gut.

Bump the lighting up to 20/4. They need all the light you can get to them, but they still need that minimum 4 hours of darkness to regroup, just the way we do.

Tomorrow she'll be 100 days old. I think that's gonna be a good day to harvest. She looks like she's starting to pant. What do you guys think? I'm open to the suggestion to let her ride. I've never had one go this long.

It's gonna be crazy not having another coming along for a bit. I need to cook more soil.

Thank you Luke, I needed to hear that from you, in particular. I'm chomping at the bit to make another batch of oil. Lol! Yeah.... I think you're right. I was standing and admiring her, recalling how DDA6 almost doubled in girth the last week, and this one's been about two weeks back from the topping.

I'll let her ride.

Both are good options, and thank you for the suggestions. I don't believe I've yet taken a partial harvest, though I'm tempted now and again. Understanding the diversity and benefit of the cannabinoids takes that pressure off. Regardless, at this point I'll have adequate THCa available to justify taking her all down.

Which turned out to be a good thing, because last night, at 3:30 in the morning, I casually spun her under the lights, rather than wait until morning as is my habit, and came face-to-face with a mite infestation. Effected leaves were removed, bagged securely and set in the outer hallway, out of the apartment, to be disposed of as soon as I'm finished showering. I'll be harvesting her today.

I trimmed a total of 122 grams of wet buds. Of that, I used 50 grams to make 4 oz of fresh harvest oil, and put 62 grams in the refrigerator to dry low and slow.

I need to learn to grow bigger.

Dam nice for an auto i hope to do this gud on my ddas and my red poison autos i also hope i get the purps version if i take one tht has the purps and i use colloidal silver on her to make some seeds wud those seeds be the purps version or no way to tell for sure???
