Careful what you wish for there .... first time running DDA? At the end they will not only be purple but dried almost black with orange pistols.

I run my plants in organic soil no chemical nutrients so my plants are all fairly small. I have a few that I topped at the 3rd node before any flowers showed and they got larger than the plants I let grow natural. It's all good tho for the smalish plants for me. I have a grow table that is say 5' x 3' - I can fit 20+ #2 nursery pots filled with DDA and grow a decent amount of buddage .... safety in numbers.

Yeah found a jar in the back of my corner closet I keep my weed in... up on the top shelf where it belongs, thought it was an empty one so pulled it out to find a nice big top cola sitting there looking at me.... puffing now. I might be out of DDA for a week or so.. I'll try and manage!



Here's a pic of my DDA grow table.. a few weeks ago so not a lot of purple yet but now they are all getting the purple thing on. 20 or so plants there... all or most of them are 12ish inches tall and big fat colas.

I have started the process, 2 beans went into a cup of RO water this morning. I had 3 left and picked the 2 that looked mostly alike, the other was bigger and more odd shaped (maybe that's the gem)

Any tricks that you all do when starting to germinate your beans? I will be using peat pellets for these so I don't have to transplant the seedling but is actually my first time using them for cannabis seeds. Do most people still use the paper towel method and then into peat pellets once taproot shows? Would love to hear what some of you did with your daughter seeds.

Dick, I use Rapid Rooters and as soon as I see movement of the seed head coming out of the dirt I drop her into a 5-gallon or into the perlite of a hempy. The trick with autos is to get them potted before the tap root hits bottom. As soon as they find the bottom they can get begin to shift to flowering. Give the seedling 5 gallons of soil to explore and it gives you more time to bush her out.

I agree with BB on the topping. You're seeing that played out in dramatic fashion in my closet. DDA6, on the left is untopped. DDA7, on the right, was topped. I can tell already that DDA7 will bring in the heaviest weight.

Thats a good question.. maybe we tried it at the same time and did a comparo smoke report and confirmation good weed is in hand!

You always inspire me Sue.. always looking to do better than the last time.... I rarely look back at my mistakes and always remember the good in life and the great people that we have been blessed to have spent time with.

Whom ever did the initial inspiring, I appreciate the whole journal, it has been more than enough to inspire me, second attempt with my two DDA's, they have broken ground in the soil inspired by COorganics -no till organic-2nd no till run, which was the first journal I read at . dynamo1. I like that - the number one dynamo.

Do I understand that this is your second run with DDAs? And inspired by my own mentor. I've been thinking of him lately. I'm sure he's still posting and promoting LOS. It was COorganics that pretty much sent me down the path to who I became here. He will always have a special place in my heart. It was hard to lose him. He'd be surprised to see I don't grow in LOS anymore, although I still heartily promote it.

Will you be starting a grow journal? If not, feel free to post pictures here. Post pictures here regardless. We love pretty pictures.

......which reminds me. They made me take pictures. Lol! DDA6 will likely come down Saturday morning, bright and early. DDA7 has begun to swell, so we're probably at least another week, if not two. She's still spitting out copious pistils.

Yes it is my second run in a way. not much of a run. Started first run on 5/3/ post 1814 ended those and started these on 5/8 post 1828, something was hungry, I do have another plant with purple pheno's, I just harvested a Pineapple express.

Sweet! I do love colorful buds. Nice portrait. Weaselcracker and Tead have convinced me to try Pineapple Chunk sometime this year, when the space opens up.

Ooooo..... You may have a rare green pheno. It's even more rare to have two. I was just telling the BIL how rare this is. My first one was a green pheno, and didn't turn color until the last two weeks, and then it was just a dirty purple, not vivid at all, and no staining on the leaves.

My recollection of the harvest was 24-buzzes with a slight hallucinogenic. It was that harvest that convinced me that this was a strain to get excited about beyond my own grow. They've all been potent, but that one was special. The rest have been more beautifully colored, but not necessarily more potent. When the next one went purple I was shocked.

Drop more seeds as soon as you harvest. The next ones will be colorful, but this harvest will kick your ass with there potency

I know that feeling well. I determined with my first DDA harvest that there would always be at least one growing in my garden at any given time. It's one of my 3 staple crops.

CBD Critical Cure. This strain, processed into the fresh harvest oil has supplanted the Carnival and DDA as my standard choices for daily meds. My protocol is now two CBD Critical Cure capsules a day, one morning and one around 5 PM, with occasional hits of Carnival or Dark Devil, usually starting around 10 PM or later.

Well I managed to save her she's been on life support for 3 weeks now !!!! She hasn't grown much at all since the heat issue has just been resolved!!! She is starting to show small flowers. tell me what you think !?!?!? Planted 4-9-2017

I do hope my first DDA to reach maturity is bigger than that Livetoskate81, it is a pretty one. I'm challenged to get mine to survive a couple of weeeks. I resulted to locking uo my last girl due to rodents likeing that young tender growth of seedlings. they have left alone my clones but

I let her out for the day, I caught 2 mice in my bucket trap last night.
