Dank Purple's First Grow

so the girls are drinking there reservoirs in just over 2 days. I'm kinda shocked. And as I told you last update about grooty. I pounded her. I wanted to see what would happen so I hit her with 2 different fox farms bloom nutes both more than full doses.. And she gobbled it up like nothing.. Blows my mind. But l.a. got normal dosed nutes from 1 ff brand. ... ...
Ok lemme set the bar for how they are different. They are both under, both lights.. But its more 1 on 1.. L.a. being so much younger and smaller I put under the white blue 1200w. Grooty is older and much more developed. She is under the pink 1000w. ... So I'm not sure if that 1200 is just way better or its genetics. But little. L.a. is a shining star getting really frosty already at 2 weeks into flower. But Grooty is gonna be my yielder.. Here are some pics.

By the way. That tape measure is just hooked into a duct pull tie pocket on the roof of the tent. stretched down flush with the top of the buckets, not the floor. its not exact cuz it tilts at an angle slightly but I figured it helps.. oh and measurements are in inches and feet. I have pics of it, ill post if you guys would like. Really simple to setup. Never seen anyone else do it

They are just finishing up stretch. It seems like they did grow a little last night but the rapid reach is over.

Man me too. I wanted to see what would happen and she was like... "What?.." Lol.
I'm not gonna up the dose anymore but I'm gonna give her the same slamming tomorrow morning when I res change. See what she does. I feel robbed of a response lol. (Btw ..more specifically it was an overdose of the ff gringo Rasta bloom nutes and an overdose of the regular ff bloom nutes)
The experiment started when I couldnt decide what nutes to give her..lol why choose. And she took it like a champ.
Her hairs are so long but her leaves arent as sugary as l.a. but I'm thinking that's the lights?

And thank you penny! It means so much to have you proud of me. . You have become a mentor. Thank you. Its not over yet tho. So stay close I will almost undoubtedly need your wise words in the near future. But I feel like the hardest part is over?
Still have back building, keeping them alive, harvest, dry, cure...lol still alot of learning to go. I'm so thankful for you all!!!

Great news.. 2 of my 3 clones from Grooty have roots but they look a little rough.. Not bad. I'm just glad I can continue to work with her after flower.

Ill be taking some clones off of the g.s. cookies here soon because her top 2 branches TOOK off!! So I'm gonna cut them down and top them in an attempt to correct her uneven structure. Begin to make a canopy.. She is still in a solo cup.I will wait to transplant for a couple of days after I take the clones and top. But I have a 7gal. Airpot to put her in. Gonna mommy her.

So I am completely unfamiliar with a reveg. What I want to do is take a clone from l.a. but she is 2 weeks into flower. Is it too late?

Hey man, can I ask ye why you left so much stem? I'm nearing the end of my 1st grow and on 1 hand was tempted to leave a lot of stem and cut a few branches from lower down but on the other hand, I was tempted to cut the top half 1st and leave the bottom half a few days longer as the top seems closer. There's more amber trichomes on my main colas for sure. Any thoughts? Anyone? Thanks.
 
No worries. I wish I could help ya out there..those are my brudda imtoasted plants.

As for the amber trichomes that has to do with time. Not how much stem there is. The trichs start out clear, then go cloudy, then amber. Amber tends to be higher in cbd from what I hear. Better for medicinal use. But feel free to come ask questions anytime.

No will just take awhile to reveg and take off, taking clones from a mother in flower is called Monster Cropping.

Cheers dank. Yeah I'm trying to get as much cloudy as possible. I don't need it as a medicine...yet! I'll keep that in mind for the days when I do. I reakon there is plenty of amber on mine.

So we have made it through all the trials and tribulations this far.. And I have to tell ya this is rewarding. They are the most beautiful plants in the world to me.. I want pictures hanging around my house..lol

I really almost cut a lower branch on l.a. to monstercrop it (thank you penny) but I'm kinda full. But either way I dont know if these are helping or taking them the yield..So I had a few questions. But I dont want to dominate the update so ill get at you brudda.

As for the clones they are doing great!.. I think. And because it took them so long to root. They have really nice nice spacing. Even if the other one doesnt make it I think its a success boys!
