If I back out to much for the whole plant it pixelates the light really bad. Anyone know a fix for this. With out an editing program? Anyway ..l.a. Continued

As far as the clones go. One of them is only 7 inches tall..maybe.. and on her 9th node! I dont want to top but she is so little. I feel like I should and her momma took topping like a champ. Unphased .so I will probably top that one soon. Its looking like 3 for 3 are gonna make it. Proud of my first cloning experience. This has been cool and very different from seeds. I feel like all of these clones are gonna out produce their momma. We shall see.

Everything lol...
When I dont know how to do something I read and ask.. Then read and ask again.combime methods and test.
So for cloning I ...
-Shaved the bark
-Split the end
-Soaked in a cup of water with some root solution for a few days
-Rockwood cubes soaked in phed root solution.
-Then dipped the stems in michoriza and inserted in RW.
-Cut finger tips off leaves
-Placed for a few days in a propagation chamber. And checked daily
- after roots came out the bottom I thought them to surf.

Man it looks like you're in for a sweet ride with her! She's got some beautiful sativa characteristics. She's definitely gonna fill out nice.
Can't wait to see.
 
Ya I am thinking grooty is sativa and l.a. is Indy dom. Oh the mystery of year old desk drawer bag seeds...lol
Really excited to get some good seed genetics from a reputable seed bank. And out of suggestion alone im gonna run mephisto's autos during veg. in my following grow. And maybe some fem photos after my clones make it to flower.
Big plans lol
 
It has been 92 days since I put grooty seed in a paper towel. And 69 days for l.a. since I put seed in paper towel.
Not sure how to word my concerns. This is about my future perpetual.

Will an auto be done by the time I need to flip or at least shortly after.. Because I'm worried about it getting too crowded and moisture being an issue. Once they begin to need their own space for the colas. Or does it matter. I only have 1 tent. And a closet and I'm using the bathroom now too lol wife hates it.
I understand a 5x5 can only really yeild a certain amount for the most part but is it better as far as potency to have a few big trees (well developed roots) or many tiny plants focusing all their energy on their one cola. (Smaller roots but lower energy demand) I wont be able to move the autos out if it does get crowded due to smell. So once I go ,the only way back would be to kill a healthy lady!!
Its just these girls got huge in a 70 day veg. Are there autos that are at harvest in 70 days?should I veg for less?(l.a. was 23days less) I just feel like at that point it might be not worth it. I was already concerned about autos yields.. And I dont want to risk giving my photos and autos bud rot for a couple tiny autos?or will they be big? See what I mean. Plus I'm hydro so all my autos need buckets and airstones nutes. I dont want to risk it if it won't be worth it. But I love the idea of a mid yeild

Ya another tent would fix this but the wife won't let me. We need more space as it is. When we move I will be getting a full basement to play in. until then I just have to stop adding plants for a minute.
 
I'm having the same problem to be honest... I wanted to grab some autos because they can bloom ahead of the vegging photos. Not that I don't have a space to allocate for veg, but I don't have enough lighting at the moment...
 
Ya me neither my 5x5 has the 1200 & the 1000w in it. My closet is on a single high powered cfl and my cookies is in the bathroom. Lol we have 4 socket verticle setups on both sides of the mirror. So 8 bulbs there.
I'm spread so thin right now. And cookies doesnt have a fan ,using 3 on tent and the 4th fan in closet.. So she is thin and brittle. Really long thin branches. I see why everyone has a dedicated flower and veg tents. Both in one is too slow to run perpetual. There are odd timing problems. Do you guys think a 3x3 would be big enough to veg 4 plants for 8 weeks in?

Another problem with cookies being in the bathroom. No timer for light switch. I have to stay up until 2 am every night to turn the light off.
Lol my tent is pretty professional (except name brand lights) and all my other setups are hella ghetto. I'm very seriously thinking about just making my own light. I feel like if I bought 1000$ worth of parts I could make a way better light than one I could buy for that. Big maybe. Ill figure it out. Making your own, might be the future. I used to build the boards for streetlights in denver when I lived in c.o. so I know I could do it. Google some diagrams. We shall see.
Wait till this time next year.. Ill be turning out journals left and right with mad awesome gear!! Built ,bought ,or given..lol Just gotta save and im laid off for winter..

I started with one tent and a closet with my plants in it to have 2 rooms now I have 4 tents mostly bigger and too many lights I also did get some sponsored grows do a great job on here and it will make companies want to work with you Bc they are wanting there lights shown off I got a PS GOLIATH on a sponsored Grow it's a 1200 dollar light crazy I never thought i would do this

If you have a grand to blow to build a light you will be set, for life! hahaha. I'm doing my own build now. My boards arrived a few hours ago. Cost me 71 with shipping. Drivers will cost 16 to 18 dollars a pop and the frame maybe 20 bucks. Maybe! No heat sinks required. It will cost me 120 dollars for 120watts of state of the art lighting.


What kind of space do you have to work with???

Also how do you run your rooms? Is each one set up for a different life cycle? Or are you using each space for veg and flower?

Hell I wouldn't even build a frame... They are strong boards plus they already have holes on each side which makes hanging a breeze maybe once you buy 4-6 more build a frame for it but idk for two if you do just go minimal imo.
 
I don't have a grand to spend but I'm saving to hit that mark. And I dont do anything partial. Lol
If I built a light it would be a force. I would build a second sun. Lol great company name tm. Stay back "r" with a circle around it..hahaha medicated sorry..lol anyway I wouldnt build it if I had money restrictions. So I would save more than I need and shop smart. And build a monument. But I have a lot of reading to do. The more I think about it the more I want to... I'm gonna go check this out right now. Thanks guys
Oh and dabber I am not set up for this perpetual yet ..I'm just trying to grab things out of my reach and will continue to do so until I have what I'm after..lol
I have one tent (flower)and a closet(clones). And a mother in the bathroom. But if you read back through my journal my tent came along way fast I'm serious about growing. my next 2 rooms will come along too but I'm laid off for the winter looking for another gig right now.
Any way everyone have a kick ass day! And thank you all for sharing this experience with me. It wouldnt have been the same without each and every one of you!

A second tent sounds like a dream lmao my veg area is all around inadequate. .
