Ok I have a question.. What percent of you grew white widow Auto for your first grow..lol I only ask becuase like 90 percent of the first grow journals I see its white widow auto .. Is there some noobie event giving out white widow seeds that I missed or something..

Also I need opinions on topping bud sites? To or not to? I hear its just like topping but on bud sites..haha Im scared to touch the flowers lol.. But from what I hear if I was gonna do it I should do it soon. I will also be shanking these ladies right through the stalk, scared about that as well
I watched a few of you pros do it (toasted) eeehh eh.. So I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do both of those methods but I need a good guide..lol. I dont want to go all edward scissorhands on them..

How much do I need to take to top a budsite?.. Can I mess it up? Pinch or snip? Then for the stabbing how high up do I stab? How long do I leave the knife in? How many times do I repeat? When should I begin either of these techs?

Backbudding (snipping the tip) is merely for aesthetics. Makes for better bag appeal though.
And only the very very tip, like minute amount

Lol me a pro.. Thanks man i needed that today. Are you reffuring to backbuilding? I was afraid at first too but get in there and snip the very top off.. like a few pistils and the tiniest bit of bud.

You are trying to cut off as least as you can while getting your buds to start growing outwards rather then foxtail upwards like crazy. Worked well for me.. my colas were all very nice looking and it may add a slight amount of yield to your harvest.

Youll want to start backbuilding during the middle of flower.. around week four or five. Stabbing through the stalk i did for their last few nights. Had to use an exacto knife to cut through the stalks.. they just bent the crap out of the skewers i had lol.

No you didn't miss a free give away it's just they are an easy grow that yields a decent amount. Good for a first timer and high in thc

Thanks guys. I'm not to the middle of flower yet..so I have some time to study up. I'm still so nervous but I'm gaining confidence! Thanks. Just the very tip. Start stabbing 2 weeks out. Now once I stab how long to I leave the knife or skewer inside her.. Is this in and out or in and hangout..
And waffle.. bag appeal is what I'm after.. Don't get me wrong I'm all about upping yields I just really care about quality . cosmetics included.

I am subbed to this amzing grower sweet sue and she just started her back building and posted great photos. I find myself thankful for this forum at least once a day! I feel like I can do anything I want to becuase there are always a few guru's on the topic. I love it!

Looking good over here they're really getting fuzzy ☺. I think a lot of people are running W.w. autos because they were running a special over at 420 for 20 for the price of 10. That and it's a highly recommend begginer grower strain because it's forgiving and yields a lot!

And isn't sue the best? She probably answered 10 of my questions a day. Never annoyed just happy to help and all love!
