Curso's True High Brix!

I opened the veg tent this morning and much to my amazement the plants I intend on keeping in there are maxing out. 2 Pineapple Skunk, 2 Toxic Blue 33 and 2 GSC. I don't really like how the other 4 plants in there look, so they can go by by. They are going to veg until everything in flower is done, so I can transplant them all and get them into the big tent for a week or so before I flip them. There is no way I can fit 6 7gl pots in that little tent, it's just not going to happen.

The flower tent just blows me away when I open it. The single cola GSC is finally receding and closing up, it should come down this weekend, probably sunday. The CVK is looking nice, this one is a different pheno than the last ones I have grown. She is tall and very OG looking, not the thick buds I had on the last one. The Sour Diesel #2 is super frosty and getting really heavy, it doesn't make it out of the tent any more, she is tied up, so...the next time I take pics of her will be at harvest. Just trust me its an amazing plant. The Pineapple Skunk that is finishing up, is the nicer of the 2 I had in there, I am really impressed with this strain, its a keeper. We smoked some the other day while BBQ'ing @ my buddies house. People want cuts of it. The high is nice, not too strong, not too weak, it's just an all round nice smoke. I'm very happy that I choose that one. The Toxic Blue 33 smells like a fruit cocktail in the jar, I haven't messed with it yet other than burping the jar. Although I might flip one up after I post this and check it out.

All and all love'in my grow. I couldn't be happier with everything, these plants are by far the best I have grown. 100% sold on the kit, these flowering plants are in 2nd run soil. If you guys using a kit are blown away with your first run...You're going to be knocked out by the 2nd. I did add a 1oz cup of the 3rd run amendment to the longer vegged plants, after they were done stretching. I had it on hand not saying it is the status quo, if you have it, it just might be a good idea. It's not included with the first kit, Doc has another amendment for the 3rd run.

Today ended up being chop day :high-five: 2 GSC and the Pineapple Skunk are about to get cut, washed and hung. I got the AC fixed for a 1/2 zip of GSC so now I can dry in my house. I smoked some of that small plant I pulled the other day. Just dry its awesome, I'm happy I grew it and am really looking forward to these 2. I'll shut up here's some pics :)

I hope you enjoyed watching these grow as much as I did. There are still 3 gsc a CVK and a Sour Diesel #2 in flower they're on week 6.

I love seeing your pics Curso! Those GSC's turned out pretty damn well. Definitely give a smoke report for those to see if they live up to the hype lol. I am sure they will be damn good regardless. Are you doing the cationic drench in week 3 and 4 and transplant in week 7?

I just whacked my critical kushes. Smoked a small bud that was pretty dry, high brix weed is insane.

I think you should try a longer flowering sativa. I am sure you would grow the hell out of anything.

Thanks bro, I've smoked some of the GSC just dry its pretty nice, it's not just hype ;) I'll have to give it a bit to give an honest review but so far it's fantastic.

I did it both to see what way the strain acted better. It's really a toss up, the week 3 plant stayed a bit shorter and finished faster, the week 4 plant stretched a bit more and had bigger but not quite as dense nugs on the Pineapple skunk.

I would love to try a longer sativa, maybe after we get back from being snowbirds. I'm happy you like the produce you grew, it's like nothing else, eh?

Here is the single cola GSC all ready for a bath :)

:drool::yummy::welldone: YUM! :D

Okay so I guess I should tell you guys what's going down now. The soil from the plants that got pulled was enough to fill one of the 40gl tubs so it is cooking with the 3rd run amendment with conditioner and will chill there until the 5 plants in flower are finished (3ish weeks). I have 7gl pots waiting to receive these massive plants I have vegging.

I have 2 GDP's that are 12/12 seeds flowering as well with hopes of one male, got my wish one of them is for sure a male. I am putting a smaller GSC from the single cola plant I just harvested into flower and am going to breed the 2 in the veg tent. It's getting closed down for the season (we're snowbirds) after I flower what I want in there. So why not try making GDPXGSC reg seeds and be a happy man for a long time :)

All the GSC's were the same pheno no variations in them other than how I grew them and the one mutant. The cationic drench is an awesome addition to the kit, which was solid before but really great now. I have noticed that I haven't had to spray stress at all on my flowering plants, with the 2nd run soil. I did brix weekly. I also did feed, water, water, water, feed. Switching transplant and energy really made for some awesome buds. My last feed was energy, I kinda wish I had finished them on a transplant week, I think they could have been frostier, I'll make sure to try this with my currently flowering plants. Live and learn. I love growing with the kit, I had an old friend over the other day I showed him my grow, he's set up a couple big caregivers in the state's electrical up, even he was impressed with the plants in my small 4x4 tent. People have a hard time believing that I'm using a 600w light when I show them these plants. Once you learn the fundamentals of the method, its really fun to play with the soil energy. The 12/12 plants were killer even with the lower brix, it was still amazing. So my brix peaked at 18 with these plants, not to shabby at all.

There are a few tweaks I will make with things this time around, it was the first time I grew 3 of the strains (GSC, Pineapple Skunk and Toxic Blue 33). I don't think they came out all to shabby but they could and will be better. This round that is vegging is basically going for broke, with 6 plants (I have 10 in there but...). It has to be a good harvest because it has to last me all winter and part of the spring. We shall see how I do...

Damn fine work Curso!
You seem to really be loving the kit.
Another happy customer, making the doc proud I'm sure..
reps bro..

pulling 18 brix is super! my gdp i just cut was much lower it peaked at 13-14,your girls they look really swell at this point! im breaking my new rule to never mention brix numbers out loud but i figure its ok if they are low enough lol, and after all im using the "cursomod" hb kit, i can speak with my sinsai of the brix, i gotta say the gdp is a heavy yeilder i know wet weight aint jack ship! but i let it dry in the pot for 3 days in darkness the coco was getting quite dry and it was 9.6oz wet so its gotta be a solid 2.5 dry,out of a 2-3 gal pot it did veg 2months and got toppped ALOT i counted 51 tops definate) some were iffy but it was colapsing every branch with the weight of all the walnut-baseball sized nugs,so if you can veg the gdp i think you will get a whopper payout in this 3rd run soil, i noticed since i started using your tea my smartpots are coverd with myko colonies on the outside!! white fuzz anywhere the fans dont hit, now thats some fungal growth! that tea is wikki wikki wikkid!, peace out homedawg:rocker::riskybusiness:

Are you planning on flowering 6 plants in 7 gal containers in a 4 x 4 tent? That is risky, but it just might work!

I hope you are going to do this, because that sounds awesome!

Yep that is the plan although 5 would be ideal, I think I can fit 6. I had 15 plants in there after I put it together ;) It was 300% to many but they still made it for the most part. Had I not watered a couple times late in the day the bud rot would have never showed its ugly head, it only got 3 plants in 2gl containers.

I am happy it's all working out for you. I knew that tea would sort things out for you ;) if I wasn't using the kit I would still use the Natures Own system, it is good stuff. I wont be able to veg the GDP out until I get home next year but it's on the list. So is indigo endo, indica tt and hopefully gsc x gdp ;)
