Curso's True High Brix!

Definitely post some results of a test you do. I am going to test one or two of mine when they finish. All your plants look great, man.

It seems every dispensary around here has a different way of doing things. The first one I went to looked at it, said it looked great, and didn't test anything. I've been to some that do mandatory testing $75 a strain. It'd be kinda cool to know the THC and CBD percentages. There are new dispensaries opening up around me every week it seems. Pretty crazy.

Hey curso, was just wondering about washing the buds if you don't have a kit, if you can what do you wash them in, I'm planning on getting a kit but we have some other nutes to use up 1st.

I'll post the results for sure bro. We're testing the sour diesel #2 in hb and hydro too. (x2...lol)

You don't need a kit to wash your buds bro. All you need is 3 5gl buckets, 2c baking soda, 1c real lemon juice and 15gl of RO (or water if not available). Mix the lemon juice and soda in 1 5gl bucket and top it off with some water and stir. Fill the remaining 2 buckets with water. In bucket 1 (with lemon/soda) agitate the branch (after removing the larger fans) in the water for 30 seconds, pull out and let drain. Do this in the next 2 buckets. Hang and dry, cure, smoke...then stop by Doc Bud's journal and thank him ;)

The Hydro Sour Diesel#2 that he wants tested are on week 4 (I think, it might be 5 though) they are grown in GH 3 part with powdered kool bloom with 1k w. We just chopped some sour diesel that weren't vegged as long, they were really nice plants. The ones being tested were my clones and vegged for 4 weeks. Now that all the issues have been sorted out with that grow...it's cranking ;) However...the high isn't even close to the same, nor are the scents. His last CVK smelled as advertised lemon pledge/fuel...mine smelled like a bag of skittles, clones from the same plant. His was green, mine looked like the bag of skittles it smelled like. The high was different too, I can't really explain how but you'll see once you smoke some HB then smoke something else, its just not the same. I wouldn't be to surprised to see the THC/CBD level being higher in the HB, just judging by effect. We shall see in a month or so ;)

When u say HB do u mean headband or happy brother those are the only 2 I've heard called hb, if you mean headband which one, I ran cannaventures loompas headband x fire og the bud is serious, one of the biggest yielders I've ever seen, my cousin was moving our plants around and forgot to untie one of the main branches, the whole thing ripped right off so we used it to make a bunch of clones root them and put them right into flower, with half of it off it had 4 zips dried and got another 5 zips with the clones, and I'd say we could've gotten 10 plus without the trauma of half of it getting ripped off. And if u guys want something special check out karma happy brother bx2 it is some of the most unique bud I've ever had, 9's and 10's across the board
 
Okay here are a couple Pineapple Skunk nugs that are now in the jar. We smoked a joint of this just dry, it tastes fantastic. It honestly is hard to set down. I can't really describe the flavor because it's not fully there. So in a couple weeks I'll give a better smoke report other than herp derp its good...

Oh My, Oh My, Oh My...These plants are looking awesome!!!! Everything needed watered, so they got chucked in the tub and all got soaked. I love watering this way, I'm going to buy a 4x4 drain table for my tent so I can soak them all and drain it off. I'm working on taking some pictures I'll upload them in a few.

funny how great minds think alike i was thinking a 4x4 or a couple 4x2 flood trays sitting on some blocks so i can drain away the waste and thro it in the flowerbeds,& keep things clean & i have plenty of vert space in the 7ft tents

pic 1 makes my underoos tingle! wow a moley i see some amber in the fullsize image im thinking these may be some of the best looking plants ive seen you groe that gsc should be in potm! even if we stand no chance against the outdoor plants ppl should see how a gsc should look! its effin amazing bro! & the ps looks stupid sticky damn i wish i could grow as well as you! so what are you doing for bulking?

He uses my kit....and follows directions. That's his secret.

You could do it too...
 
if i could afford it doc i would, but bills are high and disabillity is not even 1/4 the poverty line, i think im doing ok with what i have,that blue dream is still testing in the 24-26 brix range after 7 tests!, i must be doing something right! or very very wrong! lol

You seem to be setting the world's record on brix....far higher than anything I have achieved, or Curso. And yet, you say, "I wish I could grow like that."

I don't know what to say. I do know that 24-26 brix is far, far above and beyond my wildest dreams....and I've dedicated my life to this. So, look at your plants, look at Curso's, look at mine....and you decide if you're the world's best grower by a factor of 10....or if you're not doing something right.

Me? I stick with science. The "art" of growing is how we apply the science....we don't make up our own science.

On edit: what he's doing for bulking is applying energy to the soil as directed in the kit. Calcium Nitrate in a fishy fert base....play growth energy off of reproductive energy....that's how you get lovely flowers AND bulk.

But you can't get 26 brix, so you're kicking everyone's ass still! Of course there are other factors to consider....
 
Thanks BID!!! Yep Doc is right I'm just following the instructions and playing with the soil energy. It's pretty fun to watch them swell like they are, although it feels like I've been waiting for them to finish for a long time. They're getting chopped this weekend. I need to get the AC fixed in the house before I whack them, it's just to humid to bother trying to dry anything in here right now.

I did chop the mutant today (no pics sry) it got washed and is at a friends drying. Its funny I didn't realize how dank it smelled until it was in a bag in my car. My car reeked of minty fuel, a really odd smell.

PS BID you're going to love that PS, its fantastic.
