Curso's True High Brix!

I pulled the Sour Diesels and the Blueberry Gum's today and used the leaf wash on the blueberry gum and the really nice sour diesel. They really do come out of the wash smelling fantastic. This sour diesel is beautiful, everything is very frosty.

The next round is mostly showing flowers now all but the Skunk 47's, but ak finishes so fast it's all good. Most of the plants got moved into the hps tent all but 3. That's just because the CVK and Skunk 47 need a couple weeks still.

Here are a couple pic's of the nicest of the sour diesel #2.

I'll take some pics of what's happening up there tomorrow :) The new plants look awesome, they dwarf the plants that just came out.

Looking lush and green! Very nice!

Too bad you have to remove them all for feeding. Does that continue through the whole cycle, or can you get under there with a Solo sprayer?

I have to do it the pain in the ass way. I really don't mind it though, allows me to see what's going on in the back corner of the tent and rotate them as needed.

I throw them in a 100gl tub and have been bottom watering them, I don't really make enough energy for them to absorb it in a tub so that still goes through the top. So I have to move them quite a bit this time around so june isn't getting here fast enough. It's making much, much nicer plants than my first attempt, which wasn't bad this is just that much better, so I'll keep doing it.

The blueberry gum was surprisingly heavier than the equal amount of sour diesel both are very heavy compared to my last grows of them. It's really odd but hey high mineral buds should be heavy, right?

Yep. The Cherry Pie I just harvested is so dense, I can fit a QP in a quart sized mason jar with room to spare. The buds feel like they've been epoxy coated, they're so thick with resin.....all high brix baby.

No matter what happens in the future, even if I'm growing in large greenhouses, I'll still have a hand-grown garden. To me, hand grown, with each plant getting TLC from the grower during all phases of life is the best.

These high brix methods are best applied to acre plus grows....but it sure is nice to learn how things work in a nice, small environment.

Part of the learning curve to me is doing small batches, I'd hate to send out an untested recipe to 5000 people. I agree with the TCL, that's the relaxing part of growing for me. Don't get me wrong I'll be happy when they're up on tables and I can just flood and drain them, until then I'll continue to "touch" (never bare handed though) them twice a week.

Once these jars get a nice cure I'll try to capture the lacquer finish. I'm pretty blown away with the weight honestly. I expect this cvk to give like 2.5 oz thats not to shabby for 12/12 from seed.

No cookies yet, they are coming from the slowest mail in north america though.

My pleasure! Have you harvested a plant that was grown with the kit?

You won't believe the difference the bud washing makes. Make sure to hold a few back to compare.

I vaped a bud from the bbg last night that was washed, it was beautiful and knocked me out...lmao I have some not washed sour diesel that is fantastic so far too, just dried and a couple days in the jar I can't make it through a whole joint. I tried and it put me into napville, perfect for watching a nascar race. Less is more of this shit :) The washed sour diesel I'm not touching for at least 30 days.

Cool! So in a month you'll have some high brix weed that's been washed and cured? Oh man, you've gotta have a solemn gathering....this is like a baptism or something. What are you going to wear?

I even shave on the weekend for this weed!

I think I'm going to get my hydro grow buddies together and watch them all pass out.

Man...I have to shave?!?!?!....damn weed...lol

So, I smoked a joint of the washed Sour Diesel #2 from the first of the kit grow harvest. It's awesome!!!! The flavor is like nothing other. Earthy, piney with a nice lemon finish. The high was like smoking back in high school. I had smoked some with my friend and his people were over so we smoked. We all agreed it is some fantastic weed. In fact I am already out of the Sour Diesel #2 (all but one bud ;))

The leaf wash is really nice, it does remove a ton of residue. I strongly suggest it. Makes for some ultra-smooth toking.

Thanks BID!!! They really are amazingly good.

I took this from one of DocBuds' threads:
Good question! Here's what I do:

1. take off all fan leaves and really large sugar leaves.
2. Immerse partially trimmed buds in solution of 1 cup lemon juice and 2 cups baking soda in 5 gallons of water. Agitate for 30 seconds.
3. Immerse in second bucket filled with RO and agitate for 30 seconds
4. Immerse in third bucket of RO and agitate for 30 seconds
5. shake off as much water as possible, hang as usual and dry.

At the end of the drying cycle, trim off the dried up leaves that remain on the buds, being careful to keep them for the hash bag.

The buds come out so dang clean, with the best flavor I've had so far. They're super plump and stinky when you hang them, and they burn super clean.

That's what I'm doing.

I did this to the 2 Blueberry Gum (tastes so good) the Sour Diesel #2 (excellent flavor) and I chopped the skunk 47 the other day and washed it too (just about to wake and bake the skunk). It works awesome, a must do if you are foliar feeding fishy ferts, Doc wont give us bad stuff to do to our plants and spraying everything the way we do, it makes perfect sense.

I did make a salad with the 3 and vaped it, I vaguely remember it being awesome before passing out.

The Jury is in on the World of Seeds Skunk 47~ It's good!!!! Had surprising weight for a seed I was going to cull. It's labeled "Pure Skunk x Pure Ak" and tastes the same. That beautiful skunky, musk on inhale and that floral, citrus ak finish, pretty nice indeed. The buzz is bout the same, typical ak, munchies and numbness. I would give it 8 of 10 it's a nice buzz, I don't know if I would grow it again, I took clones of this plant and have them in flower. They're nice plants and cloned really well.

Still no GSC seeds...
