Wow a double bonus maybe more than 2-3 hours of sleep and super charge’s my high. Sign me up. CLThis is what I like to see genuine concern for our friends here.
Me too...wait what is sleep?
So naive I am
I have heard of that, too from him!
Got it Doc
So any other suggestions you have? I'll start looking around too and run some by you
I need all the help I can get medicinally
That's a great idea! Do you solely use your CBD buds for oils?
I don't think so Clover...I imagine it would make when you do smoke the THC herb even stronger or at least like Azi touched upon, the cannabinoids each produces will work in conjunction with one another for an added medicinal effect for the user
I’m not sure what to think about that. CLAs I understand it, if you smoke/vape them together it lowers the peak of the high, but extends it. I haven't done much reading about it though.
Just smoke it damn it...I’m not sure what to think about that. CL
Well of course I’m going to smoke it but is better to have it last longer or get higher. Idk? I know I’ll ask the aliens when I smoke the? Lmfao CLJust smoke it damn it...
Ive tried smoking the prescription CBD weed we have here in the UK.I just looked this up recently, THC binds to both types of receptors, CB1 and CB2. Caryophyllene also binds to the CB2 receptors, which is one reason smelling peppercorns is supposed to help if you're too high.
Did it improve your sleep? CLIve tried smoking the prescription CBD weed we have here in the UK.
It’s like non-alcoholic beer (I’ve got a dirtier analogy should you like to hear it, just PM me )
Only had a couple of joints but didn’t feel right for me, might do for others but wouldn’t waste my time growing it
I didn’t use it in that context, I smoked some as it was there. But got to the end of a couple of joints and started rolling furiously with ‘real’ weedDid it improve your sleep? CL
I haven't noticed (yet) enhanced THC effects due to combined effects of CBD at low dose. I can confirm that for me CBD definitely reduces THC psychoactive effects, such as racing thoughts, audio hallucinations, paranoia. I'm still experimenting with the order in which the THC and CBD are taken, i.e. 1) THC first then CBD, 2) CBD first then THC, 3) THC and CBD at the same time. (3) is what I usually do.And the relative amount of cbd can have an effect as well. At low amounts it can enhance the thc effect as was stated, but at higher levels it can counteract those effects. So, if you consume too much thc and get paranoid or whatever, taking a bit of cbd can help reverse those effects. At least according to what I've read.
There are many strains that are typically known as "CBD hemp" which produce around 10% CBD. THC is very low and typically not more than 1%. I've been growing one of those strains for about 3 years, in the form of 3 different phenotypes, kept going as clones. Lately I decided to try what are typically called 20:1 strains, where CBD can reach up to 20 or even 24%, while THC is still around 1%. I can tell you that there are seed sellers out there who will claim 20:1, but if you look into it further, what you're dealing with are seed lines that produce different phenos, some of which might reach up around 20% CBD. I just started two strains (still small seedlings) which are Sweet Critical CBD and Seedsman 30:1. I think there's a good chance that these will come in around 20%. Another one that caught my eye was Quebec CBD 20:1 – that one looks solid.I'm going to tag @cbdhemp808 for recommendations on CBD strains as he has done more research than anyone else I know on that whole side of cannabis.
The cbn comes from the degradation of thc and that has a very sleepy effect so it was likely that rather than the delivery mechanism.she’d had my edibles and it came back with high CBD and CBN
I’d never heard of it before I saw the result. It was butter made from mostly trim. The cbn comes from the degradation of thc and that has a very sleepy effect so it was likely that rather than the delivery mechanism.
Could be both. As thc degrades it turns into cbn and that has a sleepy effect. Decarbing for too long can do it, and time will do it.I’d never heard of it before I saw the result. It was butter made from mostly trim.
Is it a result of being cooked with the butter or too past it weed? I am trying to understand the degradation you mention
Yeah I suppose but you can’t smoke trim so that’s why I askedCould be both. As thc degrades it turns into cbn and that has a sleepy effect. Decarbing for too long can do it, and time will do it.
So if it were old and not stored properly the thc could have already been converting over, and then a nice long cook converted more.
There is a different effect from smoking to edibles, but those are largely time of onset and duration of the effect, not the effect itself so that's why I said it was unlikely to be because it was an edible. An overcooked edible? Sure. But it's the overlooking, not the fact that it's an edible.
Yeah I suppose but you can’t smoke trim so that’s why I asked
The machines are usually calibrated so they don't over do it. But in any event, however you get to cbn it will have that effect.Yeah I suppose but you can’t smoke trim so that’s why I asked
Can see your point with the decarbing and storing though. Was definitely not fresh trim and the decarb is the machines doing
Understandable and relatable to the OP about sleep appreciate the help AziThe machines are usually calibrated so they don't over do it. But in any event, however you get to cbn it will have that effect.
Though I'd still bet cbd would be better for a restful, deep sleep, although probably wouldn't put you to sleep like the cbn would.

I have noticed that THC "turns up the volume" on CBD effects.
I am only vaping, with a PAX Mini. Not smoking anymore.

A personal note on CBD buds: I can't imagine not using CBD buds... for me, they are great for reducing the psychoactive effects of THC, and they definitely provide body-high effects of pain relief, especially for massaging stiff and painful muscles. I especially like the combination of indica THC and CBD. Definitely helps induce relaxation and sleep.
I agree but Azi, not to negate all of this wonderful information but maybe we will just go with an auto not a CBD CBG CBDNA lol plant next round....I'm not sure I need any balancing in terms of over THC UNLESS you can guarantee a better night's sleep with one of these plants versus a strong Indica. I can't see me smoking this plant if it doesn't carry with it the same or heavier medicinal value than my THC laiden buds.Understandable and relatable to the OP about sleep appreciate the help Azi
Oh, hell. Just GO FOR IT! It's one plant, in a new pot, with maybe life changing impact! Also, maybe not but you'll never know until you try. And that way you can get it all over with in one fell swoop. New container, new type of plant and then you can go back to your regularly scheduled programming if any of it doesn't work for you and how you roll.I agree but Azi, not to negate all of this wonderful information but maybe we will just go with an auto not a CBD CBG CBDNA lol plant next round....I'm not sure I need any balancing in terms of over THC UNLESS you can guarantee a better night's sleep with one of these plants versus a strong Indica.
So, certainly different medicinal value, and since it comes without the psychoactive high it doesn't have the immediate feedback loop of THC, but a variety in life often provides more opportunities for success. Think about your nutes. Different inputs all have slightly different effects and deliverables, and some plants react better to some things than others even from the exact same inputs.I can't see me smoking this plant if it doesn't carry with it the same or heavier medicinal value than my THC laiden buds.
Well, it's definitely different but you'll never know until you try it. You never know. This could be the thing that improves your sleep and with it your daytime mood and energy. But I'm not saying it's a magic bullet. I haven't even gotten to flower yet, so have no first hand experience.I'm questioning its ability to take care of me medically the way a regular bud would...I need a lot...buuut again, as we all know, I'm up for learning and trying anything new so....we shall see.
Yes they are!! Very lovely! I'm so impressed with your green thumb skills! Those are some colas lady belle!
I remember something about pinching the top of the bud to keep them from growing taller. It was called back-something. Buds will keep getting bigger (like foxtails, I think). Someone will know. Thought it might help.Today, she was through the bars
