Here you go...I remember something about pinching the top of the bud to keep them from growing taller. It was called back-something. Buds will keep getting bigger (like foxtails, I think). Someone will know. Thought it might help.
Pretty much what I did on that monster auto top clone I did
AgreedOh, hell. Just GO FOR IT! It's one plant, in a new pot, with maybe life changing impact! Also, maybe not but you'll never know until you try. And that way you can get it all over with in one fell swoop. New container, new type of plant and then you can go back to your regularly scheduled programming if any of it doesn't work for you and how you roll.
It definitely helps induce sleep for me. It's very relaxing. Some people feel it's too relaxing, so – like an indica – it's best in the evening, before bed. But it's all about dose, too. It can also take the edge off anxiety, stress, depression, pain, inflammation.CBD, on the other hand, probably won't put you to sleep, but the quality is supposed to be so much better. Also, dosing is important. According to one of the docs in the video one has to take a minimum of 60mg per day (and up to 120mg) to get the medical benefit.
That depends. If a person is very accustomed to THC effects, they may not be so inclined to notice CBD effects. If you take a break from THC for a while, and then vape some CBD buds, you're gonna notice it. I have a friend who was a heavy THC user for many years. He has given up THC and growing, and has been enjoying my CBD buds. So, certainly different medicinal value, and since it comes without the psychoactive high it doesn't have the immediate feedback loop of THC...
AgreedWell, it's definitely different but you'll never know until you try it. You never know. This could be the thing that improves your sleep and with it your daytime mood and energy. But I'm not saying it's a magic bullet. I haven't even gotten to flower yet, so have no first hand experience.
I Grew a Hippy therapy CBD weed 10 /10 Tasted hempy & made me feel drunk. Didn't like itAgreed

You can also mix with THC sativa for a more energized CBD experience.

Agreed
was originally conceived in Portland in the 1980s under the auspices of the so-called Sirius Black Project

I said 10 cbd/10 thc . The other strains I grew have good flavors. Said it was to taste like berries, I must have got a bad hippyAll cannabis tastes like cannabis. What got you drunk was probably the 20+% THC in that strain.
OK, you are right... Herbie's says 10/10. Maybe "hempy" flavor because of low resin and low terpenes?I said 10 cbd/10 thc . The other strains I grew have good flavors. Said it was to taste like berries, I must have got a bad hippy

For anyone new to this, these are typically called 1:1 strains, i.e. chemotype 2, meaning substantial THC and CBD, not necessarily exactly 1:1 ratio. I tend to think of them as "classic" CBD strains, before the advent and popularity of high-CBD, low-THC strains, i.e. chemotype 3. There are a great many high-CBD strains, where THC doesn't exceed 1%. Some can have beautiful, big, sticky colas, depending on how they're grown. Here's one I've been growing for about 3 years:Was going to try a purple orange cbd but it never sprouted, maybe next round
Someday may give the hippy therapy another go. It was small buds everywhere, so would need training & trimming

The ACDC I'm growing is definitely sativa leaning so I'd not expect it to make me sleepy.I grow both sativa and indica THC varieties, and also high-CBD varieties (1% THC), and then blend the buds using the grinder to dial-in whatever ratio I'm feeling at the moment.
I swear I learn something new here daily. Smh What a cool tip thanks Azi. Hope you and yours have a Safe N Happy New Year. CL
It's terrible. Toilet overflowed from the seal and from the top, bathtub backed up with the baby in the tub, water wouldn't go down. Flooded the other bathroom cause the water went up and over in that toilet also (luckily no harvested plants were in there).Highya Krissi,
So sorry for that mess!! I used to be a plummer, and I had to deal with that a couple times!! Not fun!
Thank you and it's ok...I'll get back to you more and the rest of all this conversation I missed the last couple of days. Especially the back building since we actually have that going and I want to thank @cbdhemp808 for coming by and even in my absence, being so helpful in regards to the CBD plant focus @Azimuth so kindly and eagerly brought up to us!Ladies look gorgeous as usual!! So sorry you couldn't celebrate with bestie for New year's Eve. Sounded like it would be a fun time! Until tomorrow, Happy Smokin'
Damn Jersey sounds like you’re New Year is starting off slightly traumatic. Double bowls for you girl. I’m hoping from here on out life treat’s you kind. Nice pic’s by the way. CLIt's terrible. TK was covered in shit, literally, banging on and opening and shop vacuuming PVC pipes in the crawl space up until midnight.
I'm juggling the house water and towels and mats and prior to this the baby had taken a long nap. Had his undies on still l and he drank a lot before hand. He peed the bed so bad TK eas helpful and washed the sheets. But we had 2 comforters, big comforters, on the bed and the sheets and he threw them all in the washer. That was another 4 load process as I had to remove the soaking wet comforters and re spin them one by one. More water. Then dry them all separately then wash and dry all the towels and mats we went through and TKs shit clothes.
So...I'm just caught up in the house and took some pics. I'll be caught up for real hopefully, by the end of the day.

And to everyone else for chiming in, @HashGirl, thank you for always checking in on the holidays, Happy New Year girlfriend. Same to you @OGpapa @Joe Brewster @CaptainLucky!
For now I leave you with some macros of Falkor our Sirius Black from @Weed Seeds Express. She is the easiest for me to get pics of and practice on since I'm short but I'll have more of the others, especially Spicoli my Gorilla Glue Super Lemon Haze as I will go back to a Plant of the Day focus on her tomorrow.
Thanks for being my friends and being patient with me as life tends to always be life to me!
I preface these photos by saying I'm trying to get bigger pictures of smaller sections while remaining in focus. So hence the variety of photos not with my usual super trichome togetherness approach!
I have been smoking them since NYE buddy Clover...I'm a neat freak so this is killing me. Thr chaos and disorder gives me anxiety lol appreciate the nod on thr pics I'm trying. Really takes patience to get in there like this and I've been so shaky last two days I think I was shaking the tripod with the vibration from my leg next to it thanks buddyDamn Jersey sounds like you’re New Year is starting off slightly traumatic. For real...iewwwwWow, what a literal shit show! (the house, not the plants, obv)
Oh Azi. The OCD...I took refuge in my clean grow room. So much I even cleaned my clean grow room overnight in an effort to control the things I could control and be present in a place that wasn't overturned with items out of placeGlad to hear you've got things back to "normal", though true normal will take a bit as I know you are particular in how clean you like things.
Thank you so much , it is another challenge and learning experience in and of itself for each tool I'm now attempting to implement; not to mention just getting better at photography in general.Bbeautiful trich shots. I've suggested this to @Jon before, but you should think about collating some of your photographs for a coffee table book. Might be hard to pick though, you've got so many spectacular pics, and your new macro shots are pretty stunning.
