Crumbs To Brix: Archiweedies' Organic, 4x8

Nice garden...have you obtained any 4 ft stakes yet? You may/will need them deep into bloom ...to help support those horizontal branches. Stakes go in right at the edge...down to the bottom of the pot , following the contour of the pot. So..a slight outward angle....then use pipe cleaners to secure branch or limb to stake. Makes it easy ...i like to put three or four around the outside (when needed)....then there is support everywhere...Cheers man!
You read my mind! They werent in this update, but Ive already drove some bamboo stakes into all but the BC 2.1(we havent trained her at all). They are all supported extra well now to the stakes.

Wait, are you saying that Durban is not in flower?
She’s not supposed to be  Currently waiting for her to reveg give things a couple weeks to fill in and recover then flip.

Wait, are you saying that Durban is not in flower?
I realized maybe I didnt answer the question. She is in flower, but has not stopped getting 16 hours of light. Ive not revegged a plant, but Id think that as soon as the plant realized it was getting more light than dark it would start the reveg process. @weenmeoff how long did your plant take to reveg?

If you give very long days - say 20 hours of light, mine have been fully revegging within a month, easy. I chopped DCPurple on Dec31 and I have several shoots long enough to take cuts.

Although I do have a pheno of DC that insisted on blooming in veg - it's still in half bloom after months. It never grew any bigger though.

Yeah, I'm with the others. If it's straining to bloom now in veg, it should do well in full bloom. But unless you increase daylight hours, I don't think it'll fully return to veg.

Are you trying to grow it bigger or something?

Hi Archi! I'm really not sure, once they started flowering under 16/8 lighting, they never stopped. I only got a few 3 bladed leaves. 2-3 weeks in I flipped. Sorry I can't be more help.

:passitleft:
Oh okay I was under the impression it took a couple weeks to revert not months!
No worriez Archie...dont fret...stay the course bud!
Leave all 'as is'.....stick with your plan and flip in week to 10 days.. . She will get on board with the others and really start to bloom....properly!
There is no time for her to revert to veg now......she will be just fine.
No worries Sensei :Namaste: Right on week to ten!
One thing I have is patience! I was prepared for at least another two to three of veg but I can see that even in ten gallon pots we are in a fight against time somewhat before the soil runs out of steam.
Yep... reveg could take months, right? Any time I’ve seen someone doing reveg it seems to take a loooong time.
Ahh I had no idea it took that long sometimes. I dont have months lol! Duggan and I have discussed a plan for flipping but I thought that was a little further away than it is. I was, perhaps incorrectly, under the impression that attempting to flip while shes flowering could stress her further.

I dont know Gray, im in uncharted territory buddy. As I mentioned, I was under the impression flowering right now could confuse the plant even more, but that was my own feeling not anything I read or anything. I havent run photoperiod plants in quite some time. Autoflowers your lucky to get much time to train at all. If anything height is my biggest concern right now. They have roughly 18" of space to grow in before they are encroaching on the 24" distance between lights Id like to maintain.

:ciao:Top of the mornin to ya Archi

Been catching up the last 10 pages or so. Gang’s all here i see, keeping you in line ;)

Main tent and side projects are all looking really good. I’ve seen others supercrop down low like that for the purpose of actually eating the branch there and have the internodes become new colas so I’m sure yours will come on up for the flowering party!

!
wait for one hr after lights come on to give foliars ok. It takes about that long for the stomata to open on ths leaf surfaces.

Hey Duggs - with all respect :adore: to your long time work and success with the kit, I am compelled to share that this isn’t what Doc recommends. I’ve looked this up so many times (cause i kept forgetting - r getting confused)

Consistently, doc says this...
They'll be fine.

Outdoors we say to spray when the birds are singing the loudest, as that usually matches up to when the stats are open.

Indoors, spray 10 minutes either side of lights on if you want to optimize spraying.

:ganjamon:

I'm not going to use the amendments, just the rest of the kit, till I find out if it will work with anything except promix hp.

If i’m Reading you correctly puffer, you’re planning to do a run using the kit drenches and foliars but not using the kit ammendment in the soil. Is that right? Maybe I read it wrong. But, if i’m Right and that is your plan, I’d say - dont waste your money! Get the whole kit and do it right! (Mebbe i’m misunderstood you, so yeh, if so - ignore of course!) :Namaste:

Looking forward to the flip Archi! :high-five:

Hello Amy, yes, about the timing of foliars. The leaf Stomata open during daylight hours . They allow a plant to take in CO2 , which is needed for photosynthesis. The stomata also open and close depending on environment. When it's hot and dry , they are closed to reduce water loss, so they help a lot with transpiration. Most of a leafs stomata are on the undersides, thats why doc has mentioned several times to make sure and spray/mist there.
Amy..i'm not making this up. Cheers eh.

I'm guessing that's with clones taken in flower as opposed to full grown plants. With a bit of luck that Durban will just be a few weeks ahead when you do flip!

Maybe that’s why I had two weeks in my mind about revegging. Yes I agree Shed a couple weeks head start should be fun!

Thanks for stopping by AG :thumb: I am very excited to flip as well. I am loving the kit as much as the plants are!

Of course... I‘m not disputing any of that at all. Was only sharing that more than once Doc has recommended that we foliar within 10 minutes of lights on - not wait an hour. That’s all I was saying - what DB has said about the timing. I never think you are makin stuff up. I dont either ;)

After Amy's post questioning this issue , i went and did a lot of reading on plant leaf stomata's.
I stand by my original instructions to spray in daylight hrs. About an hr. After lights on. I am comfortable with my research and findings.
Please gang....do the research yourselves......u will read the same as i have.
Now if you spray as close as 10 min to lights on.. ..the spray will still likely be wet/there after an hr anyhow....unless the RH is simply too low to allow the stomata to fully open. cheers.
