Cottage 420's Organic Perpetual Indoor Garden

Bro I had a mini grow going while away for 29 daze.... came home to a major grow.... I have 5 Devils Tit Sativa that were 20" when I left put into flower now 7' monsters flopping all about...grew almost up to ceiling... will do a proper update in a little bit! All my clones are rooted and the clones I planted are also growing nicely... so yeah, I did great for not being here.

woohooo

Glad to hear the girls are doing well while you were away! Looking forward to the pictures!

Bob, have you ever smoked that LSD strain. I hear great things about the trippy side of things with that. I have 4 beans for them.....looking at growing it out sometime in the next 2 grows. Sorry about the mites brother, hope you whip their freaking asses!!! Hate them little bastages!!

Sorry VD - was on vacation... thought I'd do some journaling but .... ummmm .... beer and weed got in my way! hahahaha. Was too busy to 420mag... since my plants were in charge of the grow room, I let them to their devices and said "fuck it", if they grow, they grow. If not I'll pop some beans.

Well we (without me) did excellent while I was away.

Goes to that thing where I always say: "Leave the plants alone, they know what they are doing."

4 years in a row, have the best result when I'm not around. Go figure.

On your question about LSD, never tried it. Going to soon tho!

Woody was spot on, this plant is MADE for a SCROG, no BS. I only put one stake it before I left, and the several branches bulked up big time and the plant split down the main stem like 4 ways. One branch I tried to stake up and it was soo dense it did a back flip while I was reaching for some ties and ... well it's drying now!!

LSD - test bud!! hahaha that's about 15" bud and its much heavier than it looks. I've got about 15 more at least as big still going.

Devils Tit there in the back was/is the gold plant I posted earlier. She's harvested now and will be a nice yielder. On the hook and looks like there's 3 plants hanging. I need a taller flower room (in the works). She got overwhelmed by her twin sisters... This one went 70ish days and she was done before I got back. Looks like its fine... this plant I bet would be excellent outdoors )))Woodie(((( she takes anything dealt to her and fast finisher.

Devils Tit there in the back VVVV - the dried looking gold plant.

LSD after some manipulations - more work needed but the buds are soooo heavy it's difficult to move them without breaking branches.

Another close up.. lots of green on this but close up there's a lot of trichomes in there!

Here's the mess I came home to. Flopping plants all around and main stems to the roof.

DSC_0189_2_.JPG

This is the before I left pic - the big Gold plant was overwhelmed in 28 days! Amazing.

Here's the DT that bulked up, finished and got swamped by her sisters.

No love for the un-forgiven in nature.

DSC_0200_2_.JPG

Here's the sisters trying to raise the roof...

DSC_0192_2_1.JPG

The roof... and my intake to my scrubber. I have fans at the floor so they blow up and the intake with filter gets rid of the smell. It's very efficient. The only plant that stinks up is Chemdawg.

DSC_0197_2_.JPG

Speaking of Chem-D - here's the clones of the Purps I wanted to save....mmmmmm

DSC_0205_2_.JPG

Chem-D purps... clones @ 1 month in soil I planted them right before we left! Another surprise!

DSC_0204_2_.JPG

My backups and they all have roots.

DSC_0206_2_.JPG

So leaving for vacay... expecting very little, I'm very happy. Going to pop some beans to add to the mix and get it going for the fall run!

TY BL ... be getting back to you shortly.

Cheers :smokin:

Ok a little update ... we are in full on summer time east coast version = +90F and +70RH. For this weather only healthy plants need apply.

I had a little tomato plant in the flower room as a sort of Possum - like the canary in the coal mine but the tomato plant in the flower room - the bugs will attack the easy prey first.. tomatoes are the first to catch just about any virus bug whatever... so what I do is watch the tomato plant REAL close for infestations. With this hot weather guess who showed up the the party.... spider mites. Mother Frankenstein... Good thing I was on it.. out to the trash goes the tomato plant, clean up real well, harvest the 2 plants that were sorta close to the tomato plant and isolate them in a separate drying area. Spray the shit out of the room with my usual IPM with added neem cake meal tea.

The neem cake meal has about 40% active ingredients as the neem oil but I can spray with lights on without burning the plants. So the last 4 IPMs have been with the neem tea added in. Bugs absolutely hate neem and after a little ferment in the fridge it sorta smells like bacon. I had to go double check after spraying on tonight and be sure my wife didn't accidentally add bacon fat to my neem tea.. hahaaha.

So far no more issues. I get itchy just thinking about spider mites for some reason.

So the last of the last round is chopped and hanging on the line drying, with the RH like it is it will be a bit of time for drying to complete - I have a fan on full time in the room with the plants drying. Lots of air movement is key .. or lower temps and RH like AC. I have the AC on in the first floor but not where the plants are drying. It's all good, I prefer to have a longer dry time. I think the final product tastes better, smells better and meds are better.

So this next round is going to be a full on Sea of Green = SOG with all the plants pretty much the same time in flower. It just happened this way this time. I prefer to stagger so that I don't have to trim 4 plants at the same time. I hate to trim those big ladies! Not hate but it's definitely a more labor than love.

Next round in the flower room = HSO Black Dog ( along with Exotic Genetix - Kimbo Kush (Blackberry Kush x Starfighter F2 TA) - this one seems to lean more towards Indica with large fan leaves and the Black Dog is leaning more towards sativa.. both are hybrids. Kimbo is doing pretty good with the hot temps as is the Black Dog. I don't expect too much color but hopefully by the end of August the night time temps will be in the 50's so we can get a little color late in flower. Lets see....

Ok so next update will be the SOG in action. These pics are me getting it ready ... it will soon be a white powdery green... not there yet.

Here's one of the HSO Black Dog plants I've just transplanted into a AutoPot - I'm transfering over to an AutoPot watering system - all the ladies in 6.6 gal pots - this is a good size for our flowering room with ceiling height at 7.5' lights are at 15-20" above the canopy so I don't really want tall plants.

This is a 48" tall mature lady I just up potted from a 5gal to the 6.6gal autopot

Black Dog again

Black Dog another .. she was transplanted the other day.

Black Dog .. this is another one sorry for crappy pic - she was transplanted several days ago. Notice a little wilting - transplanting mature plants is a delicate exercise. Best to let the rootball dry some and transplant.

20160720_175452.jpg

Harvest time.. Dark Devil Auto .. some of my favorite meds right here. I get a good head high and a body buzz, the next day the body buzz is still there AND I get a good nights sleep... hard to believe oh and its psychedelic. Fantastic meds right here - VVVV

And again.. I grow these like house plants.

They are small but as they say, some of "the best things come in small packages" Mom :Namaste:

20160719_204041.jpg
I would trim the leaves touching the dirt, they are like pest on ramps for your plant stem highway system, you can also smear tree sticky or petroleum jelly on your stalks to catch any that try to climb up.

Thats a tall ass puppy you got.. Mine do almost no stretch 33% max,, but and mine are not a lover of higher temps either..... Looks like you didn't top her either and that might have something to do wit it.. GL and Keepem Green

Holy shit I've never seen anything quite like that golden plant..does that mean no chlorophyll? Less harshness if smoked before cure?

Doin a little catsup.... ummm the buds after trim are bright green - think Thai Stick bright and I can't remember the taste. Every time I smoke it, I don't remember eating dinner watching TV then going to bed. I know I found the bed just dont remember how I get there.

In a good way tho... I just smoke a lot in the evening while listening to LPs with my wife. Then everything after that is a fog but wake up fresh and ready for a new day.

It's not harsh at all, the taste is very very smooth with a slight berry taste, doesn't have a real strong smell and the buds don't look all covered in trichomes either. Looks good in the bag and has a slightly fruity smell but packs a huge Sativa buzz. Not for anyone that is a casual smoker that is for sure.

Very deceiving, looks average in every way cept the pistols are a lot longer than usual, so the buds look a little hairy. Smoke it and yeah pretty much right away I know it's something special. Well at least for any Sativa aficionado's out there, its freaking awesome.

It's crazy how this plant grows like a Sativa but finishes in 60 days. That right there is amazing. It smokes like a 120 day Sativa but finishes in 1/2 the time with the same intensity. I'm disappointed I chopped all the males ... what was I thinking?

Goes to show, ya never know.

Here's what I got going right now. Devils Tit - 3 plants @ 30 days in flower and they are all 7' tall already. My wife and I spent several hours today organizing all the colitas! Now I have 3 plants in the same space I usually have 10.

The last one of these I harvested I got 5 zips dry so if I do the same with these 3, I'll be very happy. The last one I harvested was smaller.

OK so here's pics of after the flower room re-org:

Snow High Devils Tit - Durban Poison x Acapulco Gold x C99

Here's one after tying up and trimming the lower LAF - call her DT # 1 These are all clones of the golden pheno that pulls my socks off.

20170909_191003.jpg

DT #2 - this one has the largest buds so far @ 30 days..

20170909_190950.jpg

DT #3 - this one was the most unruly of the bunch and took a good hour to get her organized.

20170909_190942.jpg

A little close up.. not much frost, but that will change the last week or so of flower.

20170909_191120.jpg

A little bud porn.. sorry for the over exposure - cell phone pic. More to come for sure!
