Copperrein's Summer 2021 Outdoor Soil Grow

Click on add media,
click on member gallery
go to your photos and find the one you want & select it and do an upload
click ok or continue or whatevs

then in your post..... click on camera icon, select your pic & say ok and all that jazz

so this line below is what the code looks like for a picture once you add it

XGALLERY=media, 1234567][GALLERYX but I omitted the opening and closing [ ] brackets and put X’s in their place so you could see the line of data and it would not be treated as actual code. the numbers will be different and pertain to a photo that you have uploaded in your member gallery

you can put info above or below this line of code to frame your pics or I think you can simply add tags when you post the new media but I haven’t played with that part yet myself. With tags I think you add them at the time of the upload before the final ok to add that photo, the tag info stays embedded along with that pic so the text Granny’s rocker becomes a header or footer and is kind of part of that image but it’s not displayed or overlaid on top of the image

anyway it may help to just post it and then go back to see what you’ve got and edit it. I’m coming in from an iPad tablet so dunno on phone or desktop methods

See the purple chickens in this pic below
XGALLERY=media, 1111111][GALLERYX
and write some more shit under here even whole paragraphs yada yada blah etc and here is my pet frog in the next pic.... is this what you mean?
XGALLERY=media, 2345678][GALLERYX
and you can keep trucking down here too and so forth

as I said before you are a smart cookie - play with it you can’t break it....

the edit button is in the signature line but is only available for 420 minutes (7 hours) after you make a new post anywhere in the mag. It appears beside the report button down below

Yep, I was tagging and writing descriptions for everything I upload to the gallery but since now I just take my handy-dandy cheap tablet about with me to upload on the go I don't often do that.

My gripe is more being able to see what photo I'm writing about since I sometimes dump a handful. Rich Text vs. standard editor.

Plants are happy:

I pulled the hash seedlings and will 'dump' them out back later. Hoping for a male just because I think they're prettier in flower than females and I want to see their stages of growth. I expect nothing productive from them and just want to see if they're turn into the plant equivalent of the royal family or Hapsburgs or something equally degenerate.

Soooo @GrowTina got an issue and it's probably not an issue in reality and I'm just being a bonehead: Is this as high as I can raise the light using the provided hardware? >.>

Is this as high as I can raise the light using the provided hardware?
I have always had an issue using that type of system with lights, as I can’t get a good tie off area that I’m comfortable with and It does take some precious headroom (IMO). I have started clipping carabiners to the top bar of the tent and then hanging the lights using chain that you see in the lighting area of big box stores. It’s “decorative” but it allows me to make small or large changes in height pretty easily with an “S” clip. It also allows me to hang the lights initially at a reasonable level and then raise them without a lot of fumbling around and heavy lifting. I’ll take a pic when I go out to the Playhouse.

:green_heart: :thanks:

It may look Rube Goldberg but it's simple and works for me, and I also don't feel like the lights might come crashing down. The plumbers "tape" is very flexible (a member here turned me on to it but I can't remember who) and all of these items are fairly cheap. I'm sure there are many other/likely better ways but this has been working for me. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Hah! I use that pipe-hanger stuff all the time. That and pop rivets are my bondo and duct tape <3

I'll lose the one pull function but I didn't have it before so no loss there. Boo you're my hero!

@Enjoil Oh...that's my daughter shooting the Musket during a Fort Wayne living history event. The one that won was a cannabis-theme dias de los muertos altar.

Right on, that is a awesome picture! I’m trying to find your plant of the month...

Up-potting LSD today. Moved the hash orphans to their halfway house. They survived the first night in my coldframe (it got down to maybe 50f/10C last night). Everyone else is trucking along...I expect to be into the early veg explosion by end of next week.

Ordered a bunch of stuff for my next hydro run. I was considering going with TBC (which @Rexer 's running right now and it's amaaaazing) but the old bitter DIY'r in me kept whispering: why buy something when you can build it for cheaper?

So hopefully I'll create a drip NFT friendly to my back and shoulder. Maybe it'll be a big mess? Who knows? Stay tuned!

NFT is a great system, I'm building one this summer (budget permitting, next summer latest) for my veggies and outdoor fruits.
Its an easy concept, and I know with your building skills (which surpass mine) You're gonna have a nice setup.

Biggest mistake I've seen/read is using too thin of tubing (Don't use 2" PVC...) causing the roots to clog up the lines.

This is your hash! Telling you- you need more hash! Ha ha. The weed was like “ hey, grow this shit right here!”

awesome! This is the kind of stuff that reminds me that everything happens for a reason! I love it!
In the future @copperrein... after you make your bubble hash( I only do two washes so I’m sure there’s gold left in there) make some butter or oil... boil that Poop soup in a little water and butter then strain and put in the fridge to separate, the butter will harden into a “cookie” and you can pull it off and cook with it...

I'm still working through trim from last year. Last year I did 6 plants in what now I realize was probably poorly mixed and watered soil. This year I'm doing the full 12 in much better soil. I am already dreading trim.

I need to get me some of them scantily clad young girls I see all the 'ballers' using. I'd give them clothes and burgers and tacos.

Lol, yeah you have to have your closest friends come over and help trim when you have a large harvest. My got a couple friends that have actually gone out to California and trimmed a few years ago... you grow some big mamajammas!
