Lovely garden , I love the ground you have , your very lucky , your plants look amazing by the way, going to be beasts , tip : you should dig out some ground and do organic hemp also , compost it and ferment it for your mj girls , this is what I would do but I have no room . seeds are dirt cheap , get hundreds for pennies , all that free fert for buttons , sorry im getting carried away dreaming of having that room lol

I like the idea that if they close the Houghton bridge due to weather...no one can come bother me and I am under no pressure to act like I care. I finished a great book recently about the homegrown defense of Greenland's critical weather observation station in WWII. Just a handful of old trappers with dogsleds and the shit weather on their side. I love snow...it feels like a yearly reset.Growing weed is another story.
The weather right now....OMG YES...this is the Michigan I remember from when I was a kid: big rich blue skies and stupidly cliché big white fluffy clouds. Warm but not 'omg I sweated a titty off!' hot.
I got caught up in the outdoor garden yesterday and I feel loads better. I was getting really pissy knowing my plants were imploding with new, un-planned growth after the rains.
Also because I am lacking self control I decided to train my Wedding Cake plant into an English peacock topiary form. My reason was the north-facing side was under-developed since I left her so dense for so long. The south had grown much faster. I'm calling it my Weedcock because I can. It sounds better than 'Peapot'.
Anyways, when I supercrop I'll break branches up to 2cm in diameter. I did a lot of that with the weedcock to get all the secondaries to mostly line up on the Z axis. I pruned the 'front' of my weedcock down to three meaty secondaries and twisted each until I could braid them into a curved neck shape.
The plan is to use one cola from the head as a beak and the other two will imply a head. If it survives, flower should look pretty neat.
or maybe I am just a plant psychopath.
Sour Diesel asked for abuse. She's such a limber girl. I SCRoG'd her to below the level of her container. She's 5x5 ish now? I fucking forgot to order more SCRoG net brb...
Ran out of netting but I need to extend Triple Cheese's next week.

Update!
Nothing really to update...I've been slinging boom boom next to a highway. Got home last night and they had dried themselves out so that's about a two/three-ish pot watering time doohicky. I still haven't gotten the irrigation system set up. It's vexing me due to me trying to find the most efficient and elegant arrangement of tubes and emitters.
I also feel they're getting hungry so HOPEFULLY tomorrow I can get down to the feed store and grab a couple bags each of alfalfa, humus, and compost. I meant to top up a month ago but forgot when life went sideways. I'm mentally kicking myself for letting them get this big without defol. I wasted a lot of soil slacking off.
Yesterday at the tent my friend's sister came to help and SHE IS A CERTIFIED BUD TENDER MANAGER or some shit. Anyhoo...I now have a slight girl crush on her brain. I think I understand how CBD actually works with THC in the brain now. Well, at a very basic level. OMG AND I HAD MY FIRST DAB! She had this little electric nectar collector thing. It was soooo good. Fucking hell...I said I wouldn't get into dabs but the flavor was just....unf.
Aaaand the more I talk to people working in commercial cannabis, the less I feel I would ever enjoy it. It just sounds too rigid. I guess I kinda did the same thing with my bio degree: 'ugh, labs sound boring...I'll just do my own thing with this info thnx'
No one has died from my training. I did a light diluted mist of my habanero bug spray this morning purely as a paranoid preventative measure. The chickens are a big fan of the scrogs as they hide under them when it's hot. I was working on Sour Diesel and reached down into the net to locate my trimmers, touching something warm that moved upon contact. Thanks, chicken....that was like 5 minutes off my life. It was Hyacinth Plucket, too...she's my weird balding orphington with a crazy eye. She's creepy.

Woooooo! We did really well at the tent! Apparently the Phantom tent a couple towns over was talking shit all weekend about us which just drove more customers to us! Ahahahah! I'm am so exhausted and sore and so almost post-coital elated. What a fucking insane thing to do. And it fucking worked. Wow. I'm ready for next year. It was such a nice source of productive stress.
I'm spending today in AC, in my undies, doing nothing besides smoking, drinking coffee, and reading journals. Seriously, at one point yesterday the previous three days of little sleep and constant activity caught up to me and I just crashed. I wanted to just be here at the computer looking at plants and learning.
Outdoor girls looked fine this morning. No one has succumb to my training. I was planning on maaaybe hitting the seed cellar today but the couch and AC say no.

Oh, I've always been involved in STEM stuff since I was a kid. Grandpa was an engineer (closest thing to a dad for me) and mom was a more bio-minded person (nurse). I grew up on PBS and yeah...I've done a lot of random shit and been some places. I just like science, really.
Girls need a feeding. everyone's starting to look a little too light green. I pruned off two lesser bud site from DDA. I might go for that one on the third of fourth 'finger'.

She’s an earthy, spicy flavor and the smoke feels really thick in your mouth. Its a very clear high. I’ve not tasted anything that earthy before. I like it!
