Cons Indoor Auto Soil Grow 3.2 Late Bro Grow

Good Morning everybody Hope the weekend is going well, been a busy week here so a rest day today,
end of week 2 & all are doing great i might of have the markers for the Milk Cookies Monster & Purple People Eater mixed up but will figure that out when they are bigger as the PPE should have purple in it, they all grew good this week being watered every 2 days with full strenth level 1 nutes & 2 cups eachh microbiss pro except the GN which is getting a little over a cup for now PPFD is at about 430-450 with the RH at 40-45% & temps at 24-27c & seem to like it there as they prey for the full 18 hrs & will probably bump that up a bit through out the week, & its almost time to bend them over which should be this up coming week if not by the weekend
so i'm using the Photone PPFD app & down loaded another just to see how close they both where one reads about 200 PPFD lower so i ordered a Quantum PPFD meter off amazon for $100 so we'll see what that one says & should be a bit more accurate,
the new light (ac infinity ion frame evo 8) seems to be working well & did some research on it & multiple vids say for best uniformity hang lights 36'' above the plants & thats where it sits & on power level 3 at 430-450 PPFD, the light has no infinite sweep dial just a digital display with 10 power level setting so i have to adjust height to get exactly the reading i want but that's ok also has a sun rise & sunset setting so i have it set for a half hour so they will come on with setting #1 & ramp up to what ever power i have it set to & as well for the sunset setting which i thought is cool so i will extend that shortly to 45 min just to try to mimic longer summer days & have the lights on for 19 hrs so they get a full 18 hrs of light but will it make a difference who knows i like the fact that i don't need a mechanical timer it is built into the controller which is nice,
and thats about it for now will update when the LST starts have a good one folks thanks for looking in

❤️ Great start!

I am Happy I got here early to watch things as they progress the "con" way! ❤️

Thanks Med i usually bugger something up by now (stunt, shock or Burn) but i'm on a roll Lol! Fingers crossed the next week or 2 goes well & the LST, trying to improve my root game this grow & like the results of going straight to the final pot so far, i'll start watering them in a week or so by visual when the leaves start drooping & light pots

That's a happy looking bunch con. Great start, show-off! :Rasta:

That light sounds like it would be hard to resist playing with. Nice!

Thanks GDB usually by now i've shocked stunted or burned a plant Knock on wood it's still early , yeah i'm liking the new light so far, i can also upgrade the controller for not much $$$ to control fans humidifiers & dehuies heat to get the perfect VPD but that is a bit away, have a great sunday

Looking good Con!
Thanks Carmeni was trying to follow the DLI chart as you are but it seems a bit to low i noticed they looked droopy with the week 2 DLI as on the chart so i bumped them up to 28 DLI & they look much happier (preying now) but i'm getting a different PPFD/par meter hopefully tomorrow so will compare between the 2

Good afternoon everyone hope the weekend & the start of the new week is good, so about my Photone & the other light measuring app i down loaded for a comparison readings where 430 PPFD for the updated & calibrated Photone app the other app which claims to be the next best downloadable to photone which i'm not going to mention its name read 330 PPFD so a difference of 100 PPFD quite a difference
so my new par meter showed up a Quantum Par Meter made by DanoPlus which measured in umol/m2/s which is PPFD so to the tents i go & after calibrating the new meter which does not require to be under the light which was nice,
it read 310 PPFD so quite low as to Photone app so i;m going to go with what this new meter reads & adjusted the lights to 400 PPFD & will let the plants get used to the new light level & see how they are doing in a few hours
but what has me wondering is if the light levels where at 300 PPFD with the suspected low PPFD would my plants not stretch? has anyone used this Quantum par meter from DanoPlus or heard of this brand ? the reviews on line where good & it read pretty close to the other light meter app not the Photone is Photone on android that shitty even with the up date & defuser , now i have to remove all the plants out of the 5x4 & lower the lights to 18'' & see if it even comes close to what AC Infinitys PPFD chart says but not today also picked up 2 of these herb drying racks which should save a lot of room any input on this Quantum Par meter from DanoPlus? thanks folks

Back again so i did more research on the DanoPlus company & their Quantum Par Meter & the company has been around for a while & have quite a few electronic products which all seem to rate well & some say the Quantum Par Meter is with in 3% as to the Apoge device so i think i'll trust this meters readings for now

and for some tent news 4 of my 8 plants met my height requirements for LST so the Milk Cookie Monster, Purple People Eater, Banana Spears & Mac & Cheese have been LST'd i like to start the LST early as possible i think it prolongs the veg cycle with autos i could be wrong but thats the way i like to do it, the other 3 will be LST'd in a day or 2 & may be another week for the Grape-Nesia

So this is the 90 bend you were referring to?!

I usually do it when I can hit the other end of the pot so I can tie it down. But then again, I didn't know about CarHooks!
Yes Sir this is the 90 degree LST i feel bending this early is easier as the stock is more pliable & easier to work with ( not as stiff or hollow ) & keeps the nodes tighter IMO, the tent pegs work well when the plant is smaller but when the plant gets bigger it'll pull them out & by then i'll just tie the plant to the pot, i give the stock some yoga to loosen up the stem prior to the bend

Definitely agree with the lst at an early stage you want to do as much as possible before the plants get older and get woody I found it was alot easier to train the first 3 months and after that I risked snapping a branch if I did a 90° bend eventually I put cages around my plants and let the cages do the lst for me and I only did hst twice when I topped my bigger plants next year I'll try super cropping and see if I can make a plant that is all tops 😆

can't wait to see next years plants this years are huge, are you doing a inside grow over your winter?

No inside grow this winter I'm definitely going to hone my skills in outdoor growing more before I attempt that. I would be interested in finding auto flowers that are cold resistant and try growing them outside off season from my photoperiods. I'm also going to top my plants next year alot more lol I didn't expect them to get this big. But Humboldt Seed Company said if it was grown correctly it would be 15 feet tall and produce up to 10 pounds. Looks like it's true 😆

by the way it looks you should have enough to last you till your next grow,

Yeah, I could probably polish that off in about 2 years! ❤️

But then again, I would probably use some up learning to Squish!
100% gonna process some into dab and bubble hash also plan on making some butter and tincture. everything I trim goes into concentrates so if I accidentally snip a bud it's an offering to the hash gods.

yeah that amount would last a while lots to play around with, i like to grow multiple strains so i have different flavors & effects those concentrates just fuck me up to much & don't enjoy the high
