Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed Stock

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

These are few pics of UDs that I managed to take. OG phenos are at least few days behind the ones planted on The Northern Slope, most likely due to drought their experienced. Chem pheno seems to be right on track. No pests or mould. OGs are producing strong lemoney/piney terpenes already and Chem is slightly sweeter, peachy with a note of nutmeg. They might take longer than I expected, most likely I'm gonna have to let them run until first days of October. No problem, weather although cool is sunny again and it should stay that way for a while :thumb:

And here's a bonus, a strain my buddy bought from HSO and planted next to Lebs. I really don't know what it is, but it's growing very tight, heavy buds and fat calyxes and pistils, a lot of trichomes too.

wow conrad those girls are beautiful i was wondering about the lebs in the description of them it says there done in sept.looks like there rite the ud's are looking good nice and frosty and the surprise girl is really frosting up bet you can't wait to see what she smokes like really stellar!:goodjob:

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Definitely September, but to be really honest I thought they'd be slightly faster and would be done by 3rd week, but I have to give them some more time instead. I blame the summer for that, it was too hot.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

hey con the weather is screwing with everything a guy can't depend on any past weather trends i, every grow whether it be a garden of food or the girls growing outdoors has become more of a challenge and i think thats going to be the new trend no trend at all!:grinjoint:

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

im liking the look of this hash plant supposed to be done in sept. i think it's going to make it i like the pink pistils which could be attributed to the cooler temps 48 the last two mornings its not going to yield much as long as it's good i don't care lol!

I wanted to do full update on The New Sunny Spot, but my battery went flat as soon as I started with UDs, so this is gonna be mostly Lebanese showcase.

Pheno A:

Both of them have very original aroma composed of rose, jasmine and sandalwood, but pheno A smells unexpectedly much stronger. I'm gonna give them another week and that should do it. No mould, no PM, no pests.

:thumb:

That Pheno A Lebanese girl is a beauty. Just something about her.

You are going to have a hard time deciding which plant to submit for October Plant of the Month :)

Very nice frost on this HSO. I used to seeing this more from indoor plants.

You have an impressive batch of outdoor girls this year, so glad I followed along.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Leb looks good and smells absolutely amazing, more like a sativa actually than an indica. I'm also happy with general hardiness.

That frosty plant looks very cool, I need to ask my bud what it is if he remembers and he usually doesn't or doesn't care. Flowering time is acceptable too. That kind of trichome production is rare outdoor, but usually has more to do with genetics than everything else, although cool weather has definitely pushed all my strains toward more resinous look this year. I have to say I appreciate it.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

conradino, some of your wise advice please...:Namaste:

some of my buds on several plants including my Thing are starting to get botrytis. we've been getting lots of rain and fog recently mostly from Jose.
I cut some off, but I'm worried about spreading to the really beautiful untouched ones...
what would you do? some are a week-2,3 weeks from harvest
TYIA

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Get some pure alcohol and sterilise all the spots that had contact with botrytis, then shake the plants for few minutes to get rid of the rain. Next time pull them indoor for the rain if they're potted or cover them with a hoop house. You're a gardener so you know how to get around it for sure. I rarely get mould, but I spray preventively with a cocktail of anti-mould bacteria and grow strains that are not susceptible to it.

TY.
all but the Thing(15 G pot- 10 ft tall from ground) are in the ground.
I have Everclear...i'll use that after the tropical system leaves..:)

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Ah worst case scenario, if it keeps coming back on a daily basis you chop them in half and finish them indoor. It's doable.

Then you use a shovel and try to get them into the BIGGEST pot you have. You may break some branches and stunt the plant, but you can save them that way for sure.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

That is good to know! Thank you, I started a non auto flower strain outdoors and am worried what January could bring...nice to know there's an option...

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure...

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

The Lebanese look magnificent ! An inspirational grow to be sure, super happy to tag along and watch.

Sour Diesel x Purple Urkle sounds delightful grape-y & diesel-y goodness.
Yeah I've been thinking about it seriouslyk cause I really like Sour Diesel as a smoke, but never grew anything from Mendo Purps / Urkle family.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Love the look of that mystery HSO plant. Nicely done. :Namaste:
I'm gonna try to find out what it is for sure, it looks like one of these kushes, maybe Lemon Kush or something like that, cause I like her too. I don't even know if he remembers to harvest them, he's a kinda busy dude.

Hmm I browsed through HSO pics on their site and it resembles their Bubba Kush 2.0, but let's hold that thought.
