Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed Stock

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

These fan leaves are long and droopy, which on a tiny plant of around 4 feet looks very disproportionate. It's like you'd stick sativa leaves on a stocky indica, weird feature indeed.

Yep Real Seed Company, but they're out ATM I think.

Yes Npecta is who it is. I have his Mendo Purple Urkle going right now and have seeds of his Bubba's Girl (bubba kush x GSC) and a freebie Slo Flo (which has DJ Short's Flo in it) that I am yet to pop. He breeds some very nice strains and works with a lot of purples.

Yeah he plays with elite cuts making mostly fems, but recently started doing regs too. I browsed through his current stock, but these two stuck in my mind as potentially good for outdoor here.

It looks rough BTW. I mean 3rd category 5 hurricane in a month or so, it's just plain crazy. This planet's gonna eat us before we manage to pillage it :passitleft:

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Yeah that's way past harvest time. Many growers take their plants way too far in my opinion waiting for 50% amber trichs or more. No plant can benefit from that much CBN unless you're looking into very dull high.

Indeed. I see that a lot here as well. People think the intensity will increase forever. Yet the opposite happens. CBN is great for putting you to sleep though. I prefer milky or even clear trichs, and I harvest earlier these days. The weather here often times forces earlier harvests, like last year, but this year I have the GH set up so that there is not much condensation in them (I added an inner layer of 4 mil plastic). I Also spray with H2O2 + sugar to kill any late PM. 1 cup white sugar + 1 cup H2O2 in a gallon of water. It also kills mites dead on contact and can be used right up to harvest time. Some say that the sugar spray will increase the brix. For those thinking that H2O2 is toxic (they scream about using it on some forums), it just turns into harmless water and oxygen. You can spray that stuff on yourself, and it is virtually non toxic at that concentration. It is sticky from the sugar though. Basically this spray mimics honey. Its also so cheap it is insane. A cheap virtually non-toxic effective pesticide? You betcha!

Good to know, i just bought neem oil to kill some mites on a couple of my plants.

Leb looks good and smells absolutely amazing, more like a sativa actually than an indica. I'm also happy with general hardiness.

I have to agree that even my indica pheno is more like a sativa than an indica. Yet everyone says that Lebby plants are indica? They seem to finish here and in Italy the same as in the Bekaa Valley, at the end of September. Though there is variability in the bloom and finish time in the 4 that I am growing this year. They fatten up fast toward the end. Amusing also to see your plants un-pinched as as a single colas. I love the high and flavor of this stuff, and it is also more like a sativa in quality. I do not see any need to make mine into hashish, really. Though hashishene would be interesting, and I will make some into sifted and rubbed out hash.

Refined neem is also good up to near harvest time and I use that as it is also organic and virtually non-toxic (like H2O2, just do not drink the stuff and you will be fine). Some do not like the smell of neem, but that goes away in a few days under sunlight. Neem oil is effective and it will kill mite eggs, all mite larva stages, and the adult mites. The H2O2 and sugar spray blend will not kill mite eggs on contact, but all larva and adult stages.

These are all kill on contact sprays and are not systemic, so you have to saturate the plant when using them. Soak 'em down! I use refined neem at a rate of 100:1 for quick knock-down of PM and mites. Refined neem is usually 70%, so that is 1.28 oz per gallon / .75 = 1.7 oz per gallon of water, or 3.5 TB per gallon. Lately I have been combining the sugar, H2O2 and refined neem in one spray to kill mite everything. The MJ plants seem to love the sugar, and they ignore the neem and H2O2.

Oh, here is an RSC indica Lebby photo from the other day for comparison. Multi colas as I pinched this plant several times early in veg. Fattening up now. She is also preggo with seeds (lower branches, not these tops).

Lower fan leaves are starting to turn yellow, fall is here even though it is still summer.
