Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed Stock

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

hey conrad your going to need a ladder to harvest those mani's lol!

No, I'll just bend them and it's gonna be ok :)

Conrad, I promised an update, forgive me this is the first time I've posted pics on someone's thread. This grow started June 15th, and it's taught me a lot. I mixed up some of Doc's soil recipe (about 26 dry gallons of ProMix, earthworm castings, but have realized I was a little bit "light" on the amendment. Anyway, the little gal is a Skunk1 auto fem from GYO and it's all of about 4-5 inches tall (Ruderalis pheno perhaps?). She smells great though!

The two sativa looking gals are from KCBrains and they're called Cristal Paradise (Cal Big Bud Skunk X a Brazilian male). I combined two 7 gallon smart pots (making approx. 14 gallons) and transplanted those into that (long story). One of them is making buds and the other is still stretching.

Last but not least is an Afghan from Spliff, and this little thing just won't start flowering yet. I don't know what she'll end up doing. It's fun, I'm keeping pretty good notes (another thing I've learned) and I read Doc's instructions regularly. Those big pots make it hard to drench though, so I'm not "drenching" like the instructions say on this grow.

That's it for now, Wfb

They look good, Are you monitoring Brix?

So here's an update from The New Sunny Spot. ATM we have low 80s in the shade and RH is 46%, so conditions are nearly perfect. After I took these pics I sprayed with a product containing BT with some home cultivated lactobacillus plantarum added :thumb:

We're gonna start from Lebs.

That's the "hempy" pheno, it's producing less trichs at this stage than her sister, but overall is a very happy plant. Smell is still faint, but I can detect a touch of weird spice. Some pistils have pinkish tint.

That's the fair green pheno that was fimmed by mother nature and I cannot say I can see any harm in that, cause she looks like she's gonna produce more than her sister. She's started producing trichs. Smell is floral/spicy and slightly stronger than her sister.

Columbians are looking sweet

I agree, it's a pity they don't want to flower just yet... it seems I'm gonna test their cold resistance this year :)

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

I expected the UD joy, and a few others, but the North Slope shots were an especially lovely surprise.
Your part of Italy is such a blessed place to grow, and your efforts are making he mot of it.

Not sure about the yield. I don't think it's gonna be that great, but who knows? With their long bloom my hoping is that at least I'm gonna see the harvest and will manage to get F1 seeds. They are hardy, so they should get through the weather and I can get some fleece if it gets cold in November.

Fleece?

  Isn't there an old story about Jason and the Argonauts searching for golden fleece?

I'm very fortunate to have a climate and soil to do it!

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

climate and soil are deffinately a factor but that doesn't mean shit if you don't no what your doing and you have put yourself into these girls and it shows someday i will get there!:bravo:

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

They will flower slowly and take off. I had one this year I thought wasn't going to flower and then I was like boom overnight. Really nice garden. I love this journal!

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Beautiful update Conrad. Great and happy looking plants! Thanks .

You're lucky they don't need caging - I take it there's no weed munching critters in the area .. Myself, I'm devising simple caging systems in my mind in prep for spring here ..
