My Dosi-D is getting purple, so I’m gonna get the other pheno this time I guess.

Btw I pruned Jack Herer and I did a quick leaf inspection while at it... and I have broad mites. It’s a never ending story this one :laugh:
 
I narrowed it down to soil or insects that keep bringing their eggs. I don’t take them out anymore. Fortunately this time I caught them on veg, so that makes the fight way easier.
 
I started with pyrethrin as always and I’m gonna move to sulphur if it comes down to that. I wanna beat them to stardust before flowering.

There's one plugged in in my basement from before I moved in and I had mites in my grow room, which was right next to where it was plugged in. I've not noticed many other insects down there, but it didn't stop mites.
 
They’re the bane. As you know I haven’t even seen mite before I moved back indoor. A lot of pests will struggle with High Brix plants, but not mites. They always seem to pop up when plants are in their finest. They love nitrogen and they love sugar. I was actually thinking I only missed broad mites after the last grow and there we go :laugh:

It’s good I caught them early this time, so I should be fine in a couple of days with the right treatment.
 
I inspected all the plants and only Jack Herer is infested. But I managed to push them back to the bottom of the plant. As always they dwell in shadows. I’m thinking a cold shower should help as the last time and some pruning of the bottom. She’s 11 Brix, so I can see why they picked her. It’s under control though.
 
I usually spray pyrethrin and give them showers. I wanna try sulphur this time too.
 
...I didn't realize sulphur could be used as an insecticide...what type of application Conrad?...cheerz...h00k...:rollit::passitleft:...
 
I bought special wettable one, so you just dilute it with water and spray it.
 
Look into that Safer's Soap... Shit works and is gentle on a plant.. That sulfur,, we use to run a burner with it in the greenhouses... Works good on molds...

You going to need a small cardboard box and a small CFL to get some clones with..Looking good.. Bummer bout the bugs... Mites Suck..............

Hmm I gave here a hot shower today as I've noticed before it's one of the best thing to kill the suckers quickly. I'll check tomorrow with a loupe and maybe sulphur won't be even necessary.
