Conradino23 Keeps On Keeping On Outdoor & Indoor Using LOS/High Brix Methods

a little help guys
this is a clone of my last WQC in a 3g eco-pot that waters from the bottom reservoir with the same soil as the mom only the powdered nutes were layerd bloom bottom third, veg middle and starter on top.
She appears to pale for me, especially the upper half.
You guys think nute issue, light or soil? Today I started to feed from the top to see if it helps.

You can rule out light. Every time I've had a light issue, the growth closest to the light was palest. Yours is paler in the older growth - the buds look fairly good.

Keeping in mind that I'm mostly ignorant about nutes, does the veg mix have the highest nitrogen? Could the roots be feeding mostly from the bottom and are missing the N in the middle layer? Sumpin' like that? :hmmmm:

That's why I started watering from the top today, maybe the top and middle aren't getting the moisture it needs.
These eco-pots might be good for feeding liquid synthetics, but not for powdered organics mixed into the soil like I did.
I should have stuck my finger or the moisture meter in to check the moisture but I was only half awake when I tended and watered this morning.

yes I do have some blood meal, it's worth a try.

Definitely low on nitrogen. I’d start her on compost tea and top with EWC.

Not yet. I need to get a new pipe :)

I would throw a little Kelp in there as well. Its not high in N but its nice and balanced and has other goodies that will help further into the grow. I always add Kelp in when top dressing. Think it has 70+ trace minerals and micro nutrients in it. In my opinion, Kelp is one of the best things we can add into our soil at almost any time of the grow.

I made a tea last night with worm casting, some powdered organic nutes, mycos, and something was guiding me like an unexplainable force to reach for the KELP!!! It must have been mental telepathy:laugh:

Very nice! I did my post stretch top dressing on all my flowering girls today. They all got some EWC, Kelp, Basalt, Glacial Rock Dust, Gysum, Epsom Salt and some recharge. Nothing left to do but pluck a few leaves until they are ready I hope!

I've had some plants that looked hungry for nitrogen their whole life. Even when I was 'juicing' them in veg with veg fert's...... Turn that waxy yellow,, only to get some good purples or reds. I don't know your style or anything Mister @Hash Hound, but most soils should hold residual grow fert's,, unless you've flushed well. I'd go with alittle blood meal top dressed in. As @Morglie said. I like to use it in my soil mix. Just never over due it. Yea organics came burn a plant..

And you want to talk starter food for that microbial herd,, add alittle' blood meal and alittle' bat guano to your teas. Top dressing with it,, Not alot and work it in good till covered and water in heavy, so you won't be baiting any fungus gnats with a meal.

Been awhile since I drove thru Con.. I need to back read abit and really read,, and see what's what with that last harvest........

Hey @conradino23 I know I've posted this,, and others,, but alot of people say they can't smell, when really they just can't identify what they smell.., You start with the larger circles and work your way to the smaller ones... There are alot more in-depth charts out there. I think Greenhouse Seeds' has their own..... But here's a basic;;

Waiting to hear what you think of that RD.

I didn't think the Pink Sherbert was all that, that the hype claimed.. Mine had a real high leaf to flower ratio making trimming a bitch. Well as much a bitch as an indoor plant can be.

But you sure have to say this,, it's nice to harvest flowers when they are ready'''',, over when you have too.

RD is still fresh, I only trimmed it roughly, but the earthy/fuel/onion mixture reminds me of UD a lot. I’m sure this is gonna be great smoke :thumb:

I think I'm gonna vape some later :passitleft:
