Colombian Gold Grow: Come Learn With Me How To Produce Your Own Seeds!

We're like a perverted comedy team with you the straight man.

I'm trying to get Newty to adopt me so I can move to Canada and fish all morning and tend plants all afternoon.

Great idea. I'll bring the foster puppy who figured out how to unzip the zippers on two sofa cushions and tear the stuffing and spread it all over the den. He worked so hard he fell asleep in the stuff which is where I caught him. I stayed mad at him for 5.2 seconds you can see why in this photo.

I just got finished brushing on the colloidal silver onto the Quarter Pounder auto plant. I spotted at least 3 or 4 more female pollen sacks on her. I didn't have enough time to look thoroughly but I'm thinking we did it and at least have a shot at good, healthy pollen. That's the next step.........will the pollen sacks actually produce viable pollen. I feel good that over the next 4 or 5 days we'll see more pollen sacks appearing. I know the last plant I reversed made a bunch of pollen sacks.

If you remember because the plant was very small I decided to apply the colloidal silver to 4 small branches......and when I say small I mean they were about 1.5" long when I started. One of those branches has stretched a good bit and since I've been brushing it on to that branch the whole time even though I see no sacks on it yet I am hoping it has a good number here soon. It's all up to Mother Nature now. I know I'll be trying to squeeze out enough pollen to brush on to a bud or two at least of the other 3 autos.......especially that Stardawg from Fastbuds. Great looking plant so far.

AWWWWWWWWWWW can't stay mad at that face.
The other day I carried him up into the woods through 12 inches of snow to a spot I had shoveled clean for him to do is business. He walked around and sniffed here and there.......but no business was done. We come back in and as I'm taking off my boots I cringe as I watch him pee on the tile floor. LOL I can't complain about that aspect though as he's been very good about going potty outside and not inside.

You have to be very careful with a puppy. They are very sensitive and you can "ruin" a puppy pretty easily. We had a foster a few years ago, about a year old. When he got here he would roll onto his back and pee into the air if I approached him in a normal manner. Seems his previous owners, a man and woman, surrendered him to our rescue because he couldn't be potty trained and he hated men. I met the man when I met him to pick up the pup. It was very obvious there was no love lost between them, they mutually disliked each other.

So I had to do what is completely unnatural to me. I had to completely ignore the dog with the exception of feeding and walking him. I had to let him get accustomed to me around him, not hurting him, scolding him, being mad at him etc. During his second week with us he started to come sniff me.......my pant leg, sleeve, or my hand. In the third week we started becoming friends. I felt good about him when he was adopted about three months later.

@newty This is the Colombian Gold clone I have in the flowering tent. I topped it twice. That is all I've done to it. Today I will start removing 10-15 leaves a day looking for leaves that are laying on top of each other or leaves that are shading new buds that have started growing. Does that sound like a good plant? Lollipop it after it finishes stretching or do that now?

A single Colombian Gold seeded bud. I am starting to get concerned about the seeds on this plant. I know I will get some mature seeds that will be good, but I am not happy with where they are today. They should be much further along then they are at going on 5 weeks. This is new to me so I don't know what to say to explain it. In the past, especially with a male/female pollination in 5-6 weeks the seeds are ready to come out of the oven. It seems the majority of the seeds on the CG plant haven't even formed solid shells yet. All I can do is keep her fed and happy and what I end up with is what I end up with I guess.
