Congratulations on the stinky seeds! I hope you get used to the smell of the plant because you're going to be growing a lot of them .

The last few days I've been worried about the seeds on the Colombian Gold plant. My fear that I over pollinated it if that's possible. There are just SOOO many seeds on each bud and I wonder if they're going to mature. So today I got out my fly tying visor and put the CG plant up on my desk and started examining buds close-up. Although not giddy, I was happy to spot mature seeds peeking out of their calyxes. The Colombian Gold harvest is officially under way. I think these seeds will need to be scarified very well prior to germination. They are shiny wet with resin as I think you can see in the photo. I've never grown Colombian Gold before and have to say the aroma is not the most pleasant I've ever experienced. It's a dank sort of rotten lemon mixed with diesel fuel aroma. Not looking forward to trimming it as it was making my eyes water just getting in close looking for the mature seeds.
Can I ask you a sexing question? I won't post here to hijack your thread but if you could have a look at my last post in my thread it would be very appreciated!
Just finished applying the colloidal silver to the Quarter Pounder auto flower plant. I'm thinking I'll keep brushing it on for maybe another week then call it quits. I think because of the small stature of the plant when I started it's not going to be a prolific producer of female pollen sacks. But, I am happy to say I have spotted a few more today AND see what looks like it might be some starting to grow right in a small but which is ideal. Hopefully what I see turns out to indeed be female pollen sacks. Here are a couple photos from this morning. The colloidal silver, after over 3 weeks of application is starting to take it's toll on the treated branches. Imagine if I was being sprayed on?
