Cool, Thanks. My wife rolled her eyes when I told her why I was checking all the lamps in the house last night lol. I have found two so far. I'll replace one bulb for each plant and see what happens. Hopefully I can run to the big-box hardware stores this afternoon. I haven't driven by myself yet since getting home; its funny the small things you take for granted.
 
bro get a t5 or 150 hps for now you will love it and veg for 2-3 weeks if possible.

i might veg with my leds since i get a lot of nodes under leds, then flower under my hps.. i want to see how pure led would do tho. got little buds first run with leds, lots of issues with light intensity and distance.. the hps and t5 you can have within 6" and be good

Several months ago you subbed to a journal we wound up abandoning...... Same soil. Our yield was way less than normal with the plants in ideal 420 soil. I updated our abandoned journal with the results if you get time. These plant really don't like to be over fed. They are weeds after all- lol.

Well, it looks like the girls love their 6500k. Afghani is doing great and the hempy BB was reaching towards her new 6500k bulb, iignoring the 5000k. Ran to the store today and grabbed some bulbs, so both girls each have two 6500k 100w cfls.
And the wait continues.

A side note. I've started filling my cart on Amaz*n! Going to ride this grow out and start with new soil and nutes on the next go round!
 
Everything is "alright". The Afghani continues to grow wonderfully, she is growing greener, but leaves are getting crispy, but her green growth is outpacing her browning. So, I'm happy she is still alive. I'll probably just keep doing what I'm doing, a two gallon flush and then a full feed.

The BB hempy is doing great. I feed when I do the Afghani. I pour about 3/4 of the gallon on the Afghani, then dilute the remaining water and feed the BB. She seems to like it, so I'll keep on keeping on

Hi Colesdad, Lighting is not your problem. Your soil appears to be the problem IMO. The plant in the large pot is burning up from too much nutrients. The small plant in the styrofoam cup looks good. These plants can't handle "normal" enriched soil. Less is better when it comes to dirt. Hang in there and you will get it. Look up some good soil mix threads here.

If that perlite girl is a hempy, drill holes in the bottom of the cup. You can go "hempy" if you want after you pot up in a couple weeks. When mine were that size, I was feeding 200 ppm of 4 parts GH Micro to 1 part GH bloom. I'd just count drops into a glass and dilute to around 200 ppm. Adjust PH to 5.8 and water to runoff. Don't worry about CaMg yet. The GH micro should carry you through for now. I just used tap water for mine but we have pretty good water here. Water her 3 times a day to runoff. Perlite doesn't hold much water. Looking good!

I started her that way, ina cup with holes in the bottom for a water to waste. But I switched to hempy for a couple of reasons. First, I had her on the window sill next to the sink so I had quick easy access, but because it's been raining for two weeks we haven't had any sun and she was getting neglected because we have been running sind towna lot and I've been sleeping more. So, I needed to go hempy so she could stay under some light on the tent and she had a little resv of water to keep her damp.
I pulled her from the dirt into a cup at first because of the success you had with your coco girl.
Today is watering day. I'm seriously, seriously thinking of pulling my Afghani and putting her in a larger pot for hempy style. At this point she has had sucha stressful life, I figured she may hermie, but at this point I just want her to grow. Shit, she may be a he since it was a regular seed. But my spirits are because BB is doing well, and the sun is out today for the first time in two weeks! However, they are calling for rain tonight and throughout tomorrow.
I really, really need to wash the car lol!
 
She's still small enough that a 23w cfl will power her fine. Yeah, 2 would be better but 1 should work for a week or 2. Shes ready for food too. Not too strong, and water her often. She won't have a true hempy root system for a couple more weeks. You need to keep that perlite wet. I'm pumped! I think you've got this one!!
 
Well, I'm back home. Spent 5 more days in the hospital, add 6 more pill a day. I hate this, more so for my son, he is 10 and this past month had been hard for him.
The girls suffered. But, no biggie, flushed and lightly feed Afghani. BB was bone dry, so I flush and feed her again.
 
I'm starting over, but don't worry, I'm not using 420 Soil. I'm doing hempy. The Afghani I have been struggling with is fried and the BB isn't going to make it. Her roots had not made it to the resv and while I was just recently in the hospital she starved and shriveled. I've been home 2 days now and she isn't turning green anymore.
I've notified the mods twice now about me being unable t post pictures. Above this box that I'm typing in is only a green bar, there are icons for links, pics, emoji s, nothing! Also, if someone has a stock images for thier profile pic, I can see it. But if there is a custom pictures (like mine), it just says "image". Hopefully they can get this worked out.
I had dropped a White Rhino bean in water, after two days there still wasn't any root showing. After two days in a paper towel there is still nothing. I just dropped a Paradise Nebula and another White Rhino in a cup this morning. I'm going to clean and wipe down the tent today.
Both girls are going hempy
 
Good luck! If it's an option, coco is a bit more forgiving than perlite. Advantages of coco:

Holds more water than perlite (a seedling can make it a week after a good flood). Good trait if you are out
Still can't over water (maybe you can, but I haven't been able to)
Can plant your seed straight into the coco (no rock wool needed)
Can still run hempy after transplant if needed/wanted.
Coco gives you the option to treat as hydro and/or soil depending on "life"

Just a thought. Whatever you choose... Good luck!

Don't know what to say Cd?...you deserve to have one of these grows go in a positive direction!...still think You're killing them with kindness...girlz that small shouldn't need food and flushing...just some water and light...using a premium big box store triple blend mix...you should be able to get them 6 inches or more, using just those two ingredients...then move them to their next...or forever home...I've always done a two stage transplant...but will prolly rethink that next season...in any event...still tuned in and wishing you the best on your next endeavor and your health...Cheerz Bud...h00k...
 
I have two mods now working on my user account issues. The green bar, above where you type your message, is solid green and some custom avatars of users are missing, it just says "so-and-so's Avatar. Very frustrating, but im sure we can figure it out.

If I was able to post pictures, there wouldn't be much to show. The Afghani's dead leaves are off now and the BB in hempy has stalled. BUT, they are green and are growing tall and steems are thick. I drooped two White Rhino and one Paradise Nebula a few days ago. The seeds never did anything in the cup of water and the paper towel, But, I think one of the Rhino is trying to pop up. They are currently in peat pellets.

My user issue has been "resolved". A huge thank you to the mods, we have been exchanging emails for over a week. I'm now using g**gle chrome as my browser. I mainly use my phone when on 420magazine. I believe my phone has been compromised, because I should be able to use ordinary Google. I rooted my phone (LG flex) over a year ago, now I can't get updates downloaded, I'm still running Jellybean! Anyway, it doesn't work as well, huge boxes, can't hide Web address at the top of the screen, but, I can't complain too much. A galaxy note should be in my hands within a few months, so I can deal. Chilling at moms house today helping with the niece and nephew. I'll post a good update tonight. WITH PICTURES! :thumb:
