Hey Carmen - of course if I can help you I will. You know what you’re doing though, I doubt you’ll need me. And the plan seems solid as hell to me. Yes, I’m quite familiar with your lights and although I’m a ppfd guy, I know DLI too. Not as well as Shed, I should note. DLI is yet another thing I basically learned off him. He will likely know the answers to any DLI question you can ask. But from what I know, it seems solid to me. You’re basically starting low and rising as you go. DLI as I understand it is a strain specific concept and that plan would seem to accommodate all. I can also tell you that I’ve been finding that at 20/4 as I do, I am often wasting light and money. If the plants begin to droop like when they know lights out is impending, (you’ve seen this, yes?) when you have two or three hours left on the schedule, they’re done for the day and you’re wasting light and effectively doing nothing. That happens to me so I have begun adjusting to something closer to 18/6. As is your high end. So yes, I think your plan is great and will cover all your bases.
Also - you noted in here somewhere that since you grow in an in home environment you don’t worry about temp and RH too much. I do this too with my bedroom closet. Just a fan and a light. And what I find is that especially for organics, it works GREAT at house environment. Most homes are roughly in the mid 70s and maybe 60% RH or so. This is awesome for growing organics. Your pot stays warm and the microbes just jam and jam. I personally think we sometimes worry too much about a few degrees or points of humidity. As long as you have plenty of moving air, your system works great. I would suggest you make sure to have some rather significant fan game going on in flower. That’s where a house environment can bite you as you can’t lower the RH. The solution is moving air.
Hope some of that helps. Great start!
