i could extend my intake hose down to the lower part of the tent if you think that might be better.
it is behind the dresser below the upper hole i where i currently have it is. Dresser has to stay where it is. Happy wife , happy life. i think this is the path of least resistance. but what do i know, i'm a newbie

While playing with the ventilation system in my tent I just happened to look down and notice to little friends have arrived.

thank u mark for the wellwishes. If they make it through the next day or so, i will post my pertinant info. one is grandaddypurple and the other afghan kush special. both were sold as feminized so we'll see.

the tent is cooling. it's dropping a 10th of a degree about every 30 seconds or so, both at clg ht and plant level. i think i might get lucky on this one.

half way through their first night sleep, tent temp has dropped to 76.3 rh is 53. ambient room temp is 74.8 at 54%. outside temp is 92 w/56% rh. is this too much info? i'm old and fascinated with too much time on my hands. i took the day off today, tomorrow i will attempt to install my RO system.3 hrs til wakeywake with 3 hrs to go, my current setup has cooled about a degree and hour. it'll prolly slow down its drop substantially as ambient room temp is only dropping slightly as the ratio is getting smaller and closer.

Good morning,
The little ones are noticeably stretching. day 2 and it looks like i have a minute to get this info out there.
The soil is fox farms ocean forest and i'm gonna try the Reefertilizer system. I used their formula and mixed my soil and added the start portion as per their recommendation. Bottled water until i get my RO system installed,(hopefully today)
one girl is Grandaddy purple from Blimburg, and the other is Afghan Kush Special from World of Seeds, and they were sold as feminized. We'll see.

it's been a busy morning. i'm working on the ventilation in the tent and i now have a low powered cooling fan out of a very old computer. i mounted it in a piece of packing styrofoam and cut it to about 8" od. the mailman brought some goodies this morning and among them were the canuk seeds, a couple of autoflowers arrived so i got them in some water in a dark place.More on them once i have germination completed. i also got some ph buffer soluton so i can set up my meter. My cloth pots showed up today too. It's gettin busy. i"ll post pics from my phone.

what a learning experience this has become. i wish i could soak up all this learnin' the way my babies are likin' the water and light. the more i learn, the less i realize i know about this.

here's another stupid question. i have a TDS3 TDS/TEMP meter. im looking for some online info on this tool, but if anyone is watching me stumble in, please let me know.

i am really get confused watching a couple of very different videos about these meters. i hope it clears up soon, but i am exited about this project. i think i've got ventilation working well. i hung an exhaust hose over the top of the light for now. temp is 77.2 at soil level 52% and 77.9 at top of tent.
tent is open when lights are on. i close the tent up right before nightfall and then i reopen in the early AM the following morning as the temp from the light heat rises. will have to do until my temp probe ant tstat to arrive.
just moved a couple of seeds into the tent covered up in paper towel for the next 24 hrs. the 2 are autoflower. so i have the possibility of 4 plants growing and i bet they'll keep me busy.
