Ya know I believe that every hour you spend fishing adds a hour to your lifespan. But I could be mistaken.lol CL

There is that! I'm going to live a very long time with the hours I've logged then! When I was young I'd fish fresh water in the morning and ocean in the afternoon lots of days in summer! Life was good! Late fall and winter was river smelt and pond ice fishing! I've channeled my fishing into growing weed it seems. Always had a joint in the tackle box!

There is that! I'm going to live a very long time with the hours I've logged then! When I was young I'd fish fresh water in the morning and ocean in the afternoon lots of days in summer! Life was good! Late fall and winter was river smelt and pond ice fishing! I've channeled my fishing into growing weed it seems. Always had a joint in the tackle box!

Missouri Highway Patrol enforces the rules on our lakes, and they take it seriously. You don't want an expensive encounter with them. By the way, I love fishing and there's nothing like good cornmeal battered Missouri fried catfish and cornbread, washed down with a good fresh brewed sweet tea.

Well, at least you are open to new tastes! When I was a kid (mid fifties) a real treat was getting "take out food" - we didn't have spare money - but one time Mom got Fish and Chips but the fish wasn't fully cooked and the batter was still raw under the crispy outside!! One bite in I gagged!!! Would not eat battered fried fish for years and I mean MANY years!!

Wouldn't catch me in water that goes over my head either. Can't swim. Went out on a row boat one time in my life with a friend that fished. S Carolina. I remember it today and that was almost 200 years ago! And sweet tea was the drink of the day.
