my cut took on a strong chemdawg, maybe n.l. smell. (not too sure what n.l. smells like isolated cause I've never grown it before). I think the genetics for diesel are chemdawg x super skunk x northern lights.

Thanks CHH. I'm waiting for lights on this evening to get some pics of the 5 other females; they're starting to show their differences more. If I had to guess from what I'm looking at, I'd say I'm at f3 as far as generations go. 1/2 like the cross plant and 1/2 like Chem D (somewhat, anyway). These next few picks for parents are important.

Those wide leafed plants are actually (Pre '98 x Lashkar Afghan Indica) x Deep Chunk reg seeds. I got them on an online auction. I'll google that strain you mentioned to see what's up. Thanks!

Cool I just found out the lineage of the original :) Chemdawg D BX 3 = (Chem '91 x Afghani, then IBL'ed) x Chem D clone only.
That's where this bulk weight is coming from. The Afghani. When I'm done and do the next part (breed out CD4D to stability), that one might be closer to Chem D than this. And when I do the final part (breed these two together) I hope to have a cut of something extremely close to Chem D with hybrid vigor in regular stabilized seed form. Gonna take another 4 or 5 years, I'm guessing..... :)
