I realized this morning that I forgot to put the red spectrum 125 watt CFL bulb in when I put the male and female together for pollination, so I took the blue spectrum 125 watt one out and made the switch. It's running at 11 on and 13 off, and I plugged the small fan (25 watt?) in when I noticed a bit of heat in the unit. All the hairs on the female are starting to brown up so I shoved her into the male and shook them some :)
The CDDBX3 clone I have in flower under the 600 watt HPS is at 2 weeks and 5 days of 12/12. I cut the hours of light in the unit to 10 on and 14 off, then turned the fan switch on the 8" inline to high. I'm going to feed it today or tomorrow, and to green it up I think I'm going to give it FF week 7.
Damn this one ain't funny yes it is but oh man it hurts :) Hard to type. Okay it still hurts I took a break but I was sitting on a barstool typing this when I noticed I was hot so I tried to take my sweater off but I leaned forward to pull it up over my head and when it was covering my face the chair fell forward I went to put my chest against the bar to keep from going forward any further but my foot slipped off the foot bars underneath and my shin plowed right into the corner of the bar where the shelf connects I'm skinny there was like a cereal box worth of skin thickness between my shin bone and the corner of that 2x4 after all that typing still hurts too :)

reminds me of when I was young I still have the marks from my pedals for everytime it hit my shins

I still got 3 dots in my right knee from a pedal I just noticed it lol almost forgot about that one but theres always the reminders still there lol
 
The mother took the extreme cutting at this point in her life a bit hard, but I think this is going to work out:

As soon as I see the pods swell and the white crack form in them I'm going to wrap the male in a wet towel, congratulate him for a job well done, and escort him to the compost bin :) I think I want to try the blow drier trick again (blow the plant off with one set on high and cool under a wet sheet in a closet away from all my units). I'd like to start my next project right away, and I need to make sure pollen doesn't cross. I'm going to take a clone from my GDP clone, then put it in here after CS'ing it a few times. And I'll keep CS'ing it until I see the male parts 'cause the toenail fungus in my big toe is going to evolve into something that has an opposing digit by the time GDP seeds come out again, it looks like. I'll do a quick double check on my setup before I start. If it doesn't hurt (batteries don't become damaged), I'm thinking battery post to battery post connections and twisting the two with the open post around so I can put a wire connector on them (if it's a series connection). I'll post a disconnected pic of it to show what I mean before I do it and KABLOOEY!!!!! become the Silver Surfer Chimp :)
I've got extra connectors and wire if I need to connect them all separately to the alligator clips or connect them in parallel. I'll clean me up a jar with Everclear later.

I checked, and you can do it, but the wires on the connectors seem thinner than 24 volt thermostat wire. Common sense tells me I should proceed with this arrangement (not my drawing by the way; I can't take credit for it):

P.S.: The lines in the top part of the pic that say "connect" are not wires, just lines pointing to the places you need to make the connections. :peace:
 
not easier and less part to just connect the 3 in a series solid connection avoid the wires on the batteries connecting to each other only wires to connect to the silver

gdp fem seeds would be awesome Great day to you Pc :thumb:
 
I'll pic what I do (almost the same as that, CHH). Just the 3 batteries, a Mason jar, distilled water, a piece of 1/4 x 1-1/2 x 5 wood with 2 holes in it, 2 alligator clips, and 2 pieces of colloidal silver wire. The connecting end of the alligator clips will bend around the colloidal silver wires and the clip end will clamp on to each open posts on the 2 ends of the 3 battery connection. The bent wires will go through the holes in the board, which will lay flat across the top of the jar and into the distilled water. I have a PPM meter here so I'll know when it hits 50. Any idea how to store it and how long it lasts?
 
According to toker put it in a dark bottle he uses a 40 oz beer bottle says he dumps the beer for the bottle lol
id probably do that too cause bleh lol

I started spraying 1 yesterday with 30ppm
 
Thanks I'll look up more on the subject myself. I thought I read that you should shoot for 50 ppm when you're doing it for this purpose.
Hey speaking of GDP, my memory clicked the other day. When they first came out (just after CG's GDP S1, which I grew and liked too), I bought them, germed and grew 6 of the 10 seeds, then pollinated a female with a male (found the seeds the other day). I'm not going to do my next grow (Critical Mass crosses); I'm gonna do (3) of these GDP x GDP, (3) 818 Headband x GDP (had it in with the GDP grow and decided to pollinate it too), (3) SLH x DJ Short Blueberry (got all males in my Blueberry grow and didn't want it to be a complete waste of dough; shook one over a SLH), and one Bubba Kush (Katsu cut; my reveg is doing bad and going too slow). I'm just looking for a female of all 3 I bred out to see what they look like, and a replacement for the Bubba reveg.
 
yea toker uses 50 ppm I heard 50 might be kinda strong
im only starting with 30 cause it was locally available
im one of those I wanna go to the store and buy it kinda guy lol
I do buy shit from amazon sometimes but I hate to use a cc if I don't have to
 
Notes: I just watered and fed the CDDBX3 clone I have that's 3 weeks in flower today (my usual AN Iguana and additives); I'll get a pic up as soon as the wilt is out of the plant (I let it get a bit too dry).
I'm going to kill a few clones tomorrow and one of them will be a clone of the mother plant I'm using now (I took it just in case that mother was too far along by the time my new male got big enough). The other is a WW IBL I did and don't like.
I'll get a pic of the mother rejects up soon too; they're the closest thing I have to chop now that I did my TD today. They look good too :)
I'll get a pic up of the next clone keeping the original strain going. It's starting to grow now.
The pods on the mother look like they're starting to swell but it may be early yet. I put the top of the father directly over the mother to help pollination.
 
I just took pics of the mother rejects some look different than the others but most look decent. One or two look pretty good, actually. :)
I'm burnin' a jaybird right now and I'm gonna roll another fat one, so if I don't get too high expect to see them in a few.
And I put that small CDDBX3 female I kept from the father plant grow in with my Mr. Nice/SSH grow.

everything is very pretty, and the smell of the drying/curing diesel harvest behind me makes it that much better :)
