Every once in a while I get poetic even though it usually results in the villagers taking up torches and pitchforks :)
Everybody was putting poems on one of Propa Gator's threads a while ago and I went on there and dropped a turdbomb it wasn't this exactly but it went something like:

There once was a PotChimp with pot
who smoked on that pot quite a lot!
He toked and he smoked
and he smoked 'til he choked
until all that pot he had not.

:)

T-minus 35 mins until Showtime.

Not so much the buds, but the plant structure looks more like Chem D. Of the 6 I have there, 3 resemble the original hybrid, 1 (the mother I chose) looks like halfway in between, and 2 look more like Chem D. That one is the more vigorous of the 2. And starting a second grouping, although due to my own mistake, may be my method from now on. I like getting a good look at the mother in flower before I pick.

Very interesting sir! I want to start doing more of my own breeding for seeds especially after I get my hands on a few that I have been wanting. GDP for example as one. So I am paying close attention to those that are careful in choosing mothers/males etc to get the right phenos. When you are unable to see the real thing growing, sometimes it would be easy for me to pick incorrectly. Thanks for taking the time!

Bob ;)

Ok, here we go contining on the theme

(Chorus)

Load a bowl, oh help me PotChimp, Load a bowl, I need some green Chimp
Don't leave my vape and show it where it might get revealed by a stare.
Take me home, I promise I will not sing songs or mess the house with
stinky bongs, oh please don't make me pray, I've haven't smoked in one whole day....

Note: I kept one of the females in the second grow and put it in the spot I took the mother out of under the 400 watt HPS. I fed them all FF week 6 two days ago also, just before the switch. This mother is far along; I hope it isn't TOO far along. I'll get some more pics up of the clones and these mother rejects later.

Just wondering Chimp, why do you say you need to back off the light a little?

Just wondering Chimp, why do you say you need to back off the light a little?

I set plants up on paint cans under the light to even the canopy when they aren't the same height, B A R. Sometimes the height of 2 paint cans puts the top of my plant about 12" away from the lens. Because I'm running a 600 watt HPS in about 6 sq. ft. (100 watts/sq.ft.) and have a lot of reflectivity, the leaves on the tops of the plants get lighter in color (light bleaching). I lollipopped that one this morning and opened up the plant by defoliating everything going towards the center. I took all of the small branches off the bottom of the plant too (before I took it down to 1 paint can tall this morning). I fed that same plant AN Iguana Bloom, Organic B1, Sensi-Cal Bloom, H2, F1, Liquid Carboload, Sensi-Zym, and GWS.
The father I picked for breeding is about to open up its flowers, and the mother is browning up. I estimate these older flowering plants at 6 weeks old this Friday. Hope I'm not too late!

:thankyou:

After that post I thought things out and did a rearrangement instead. I put the Chemdawg D BX 3 clone to the side and put the second paint can back under it. The reasons are I have a Free Tibet clone that's further along and I want to keep it under the light more plus it's wide and I have a GDP clone that's not. After I took one paint can out of under the GDP, it fit right next to the Free Tibet. Both will be directly under the light; the GDP needs it more because it doesn't yield as much. The CDDBX3 yields great so it can grow on the side. Here's a pic:
