Hey CHH what's up? Here's the mother rejects again I must have smoked weed too close to this one and it smelled it 'cause it looks panicked:

The middle two of these I know look off from Chem D, and until they go longer I'm not sure, but the taller ones look like they have a similar structure. Part of the shorter stature is due to the fact I topped them at different nodal intersections. Damn whatever it is I'm doing here (I'll be the first to admit I'm shooting arrows in the dark as far as nailing Chem D down perfectly), I like the way it puts on the weight..... :tokin:
 
Beautiful as always Chimp. I didn't know you used FF somehow I had missed that. What are your thoughts on it? I use it as well and don't have a MJ specific chart for feeding so use the one on the bottle. What do you do?
 
Thanks, Dr Bob. Usually I don't use FF on grows, but because this one is about breeding I use what I have left up on it. I may replace the 3 FF liquids until the granulars run out, or I may just switch nutes. When I use it, unless I see signs of deficiency I water twice then feed once and repeat this all the way to the end. I just looked up some info and I was right; the tucked in and going upward look of the leaves is Mg deficiency. I'll give them a double dose of CalMag with their feeding tonight.

Thanks so much! I have found the FF hard to balance with my plants. I feel that I go from them wanting more very quickly to them burning. I like the idea of feed, water, water, then repeat. Your the Chimp! (thought saying "Your the man" could be offensive to your simian self).

The way I feed with FF, it's more like they get fed every 9 days instead of 2 times a week. They just don't seem to need it that much with the low wattages and short veg periods I use. Now these Chem D plants I'm breeding out feed and bulk up pretty heavily, so I may be able to go with water feed water feed etc. as soon as they get about halfway through flower. The main thing I do is watch the condition of the leaves or buds and not go so much by a feeding schedule. Good luck with it!

You are so right, sometimes I get tied up with all the details and forget just to give the girls what they want. Just fed mine some grow big and brer rabbit. I think they are happy.

go go mr chimpo!! they are poppin right along , i tried ff it fried my ladies right quick ! i like the organic stuff now no burning.:rocker:
 
may I suggest biobizz grow and bloom? it's a two part system that is organic and forgiving. you can even get away with just the bloom which is a 1-2-2 feed.
 
I'll maybe see if using extra Mg worked on these Chem Ds I'm trying to breed out. It may take a few more days to show, though (I fed 2 days ago). With the nutes I added the light dose of CalMag (3 ml/gal) so I could also do the light dose of CaMg+ (1 tsp/gal). I figure this would be a heavy feeding with a low dose of FloraNectar (5 ml/gal) too. It has magnesium sulfate in it. Gives the weed a nice flavor at the end too (mostly because of the pure sugar cane extract and the strap molasses).
Well somebody in the house wants a pizza pie and I just had a pretty traumatic but funny snack incident recently plus their last pizza delivery didn't go too well for me either I busted my head so I better be careful food has done me great harm in my eternal clumsiness I'll post pics of the Chem Ds later.....
