ChemDawg D BX 3

Thanks everybody. I've got a Free Tibet clone I'm going to be chopping today too (1/2 oz., maybe?). :)

5 out of 6 of the seedlings I planted to replace the male have popped the soil. I am going to place the other 2 under the 400 watt HPS today (I still haven't killed the one I think is a hermie; there's still a chance I may have switched the tags and put the one marked "female" in the male pot). It will give me the room to put the CFL right down on top of the seedlings.
The 400 watt HPS unit runs cold; the plants in it are going slow and the leaves are showing wrinkle and deficiency even though it has been given food (roots are working slow and above ground part of the plant is getting too cold). I may have to consider not using it in the Winter from now on.
And I need to start that clone above flowering 'cause I'm almost out of the last Chem D BX 3 pot I harvested a few pages ago..... :(

you know if you take a short few day break when you smoke again its easier to smoke less until you build up the immunity again lol

I tried that for a year once then bought a bag of pot, rolled one up, smoked it, started rolling another, and a friend of mine back then asked, "Man, you're rolling another one? Didn't you get a buzz?" (or something to that effect). I told him, "No I'm rolling another two". It's just that way with some of us, I guess. Wish it worked well enough to justify the period of time going without; I'd do it regularly if it did :)
 
Update time :)
All 6 seedlings planted to replace the lack of a male in this breeding project are up. 5 of them have stretch (I didn't get the 2 first parent choices out in time, and the light was too high). One was a slow starter, so it's still short.

The 6 full sized plants for this breeding project are now all under a 400 watt HPS (11/13) and have had hairs for around 2-3 weeks now.

In a day (maybe 2) I'll be jarring up the last Chemdawg D BX 3 clone I chopped, but I don't think it will outweigh the last one like I thought originally. We'll see :straightface: Oh by the way I watered that clone out the last time 3 days before chop with 2 Tbsp. molasses/1 gal. RO water, gave it a 2-3 day dark period, and the small buds I've sampled so far (about 5 doobs worth) taste really good.

I took a clone this morning from the CDDBX3 clone I'll be putting into flower. I want to put it under 12/12 now, but it's growing hairs still and hasn't put out enough normal leaves yet.

And the clone I took from the mother I picked (just in case the mother is too far into flower to use) looks like it will live.

I'll post some pics of the 6 female plants that are into flower soon.

Stuff comes up and a chimp gets behind, but I'll get the pics of the CDDBX3 mother rejects up; they're starting to get enough hairs to see in the pics from a foot away. I jarred the last clone I chopped but didn't weigh it; it filled jars a little shy of what the last one did. I might have got 1-1/2 oz. from it so I'm not complaining.

an easy way to get males is get gdp seeds :rofl:
I think I had 3 out of 4 come out males so far the 4th seed im not sure if that's my unknown plant
I forgot what I did with that 4th gdp seed that didn't pop
I usually throw them outside in the herb pots to see if the sprout lol
I don't remember doing that to my failed gdp seed so maybe it is the failed gdp seed and it didn't fail?
lol I really don't know when I clone it out to sex if its a male ill be sure its gdp :rofl:
I just hope my 5th and last seed is female still waiting for them gdp seeds to be available again

edit I think I made an err
I think I had 4 total gdp seeds so that means 2 sprouted male one seed is maybe the new plant that is unknown and still have one seed left to try im scared to pop in fear of another male lol

Man I'll be glad when this Winter is over. (2) 400 watt HPS bulbs running in a 3' x 5' tent is what I should shift to..... :hmmm:
